    UnEpic is an RPG/Platformer with some chops, but some questionable design choices and input issues hold it back. The gameplay is solid for fans of Metroidvanias, but does nothing new to distinguish itself in the genre.

    Perfect handheld game if you like oldschool Metroidvania RPG's. First off I'd like to say that I don't think I've played a game with betterPerfect handheld game if you like oldschool Metroidvania RPG's. First off I'd like to say that I don't think I've played a game with better mapped controls on the Vita than this little gem, a lot of thought was put into the controls and they're perfect (no back touch pad either, thank you!). The game took me just over 20 hours to beat, the music is great, the writing is great, the story is fun, the map is fun to explore and varied, enemies are varied, bosses are great. Combat mechanics are pretty basic, but the combat itself is extremely deep. I've been quite burnt out on indie games to be honest, especially with the constant trash PS+ offers, but I'm really glad I picked this game up, it's now up there as one of my favorite indie games along side Trine and Transistor.… Full Review »
