Amazing. I have played the previous game Hollow Fragment and my only issue with it was story and over complex combat. I have bought this game few days ago during boxing week. The eb games worker suggested it as he was an avid gamer like me. I put the chip in my vita and i was amazed. the story makes more sense, the combat was simplified like crazy in a good way and YOU CAN FLY! i am notAmazing. I played the previous game hollow fragment for just 5 hours before giving up on it for it's overly complex combat system that became a nightmare when coupled with a horrible translation. I am pleased to say that Lost Song improves upon Hollow Fragment in every way! I am pleased to say that Lost Song improves upon Hollow Fragment in every way! The graphics are definitely much more next-gen for those interested and the story is well translated and fun even if it's slow to get started.

The combat system has been much simplified, with square performing a quick attack and triangle a power attack by holding R and using the d pad aswell as square and triangle you can perform sword skills aswell as magic attacks while your weapons are sheaved. The sword skills have some great particle effects attached and even with a large number of enemies on screen, even when flying, I've noticed very little slow down in the game so far.

And of course, there is the aforementioned flight mechanic, which really brings the game into a league of it's own, the flight is handled amazingly well, with each change in movement and speed feeling natural and controlling beautifully, and while the altitude limit can be a bit restraining at first it can be lifted eventually.

The games environments are beautiful to look at from the sky and the ground and the boss battles are reliably amazing both in the menacing appearance of the bosses and in the epic combat that ensues, the biggest let down for me was the dungeons in the game, the main way of progressing the story and while they are the holders of the epic boss fights, the dungeons are actually quite dull and became repetitive very fast. A lot of the enemies in the different lands of the games are simple reskins aswell which takes a bit of the thrill away from discovering a new region only for the first enemy you encounter to be a reskin.

The final part of Lost Song that I will talk about is the multiplayer, hollow fragment dissapointingly lacked any multiplayer whatsoever and Lost Song makes up for it perfectly, the quest mode is fun and social allowing you to quest after a large monster or through a dungeon with a group of team mates, monster hunter style. You can also duel fellow players one on one with custom rules to see who is the strongest, it all runs very well and was great fun to enjoy!

All in all, I've enjoyed Lost song a lot and hope to continue to enjoy a couple more tens of hours! It does have it's downsides but the pros far outweigh the cons for this game! Recommended!

bastante entretenido, la historia fue debil y simple pero su jugabilidad y la posibilidad de volar fueron sus grandes puntos fuertes. se agradece que localizen estos juegos.

It'll probably be overlooked or dismissed by too many people who assume that it's only worth playing if you're a fan of the anime, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that it's worth checking out regardless whether or not you're familiar with Sword Art Online.

Although it is fun to hack and slash things on the go, the paper thin storyline and bland quests make this game difficult to recommend. Fans might enjoy the character interactions, but if you're looking for that, there are plenty of other and better games on the Vita.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is an enjoyable game that does have it's flaws.
