It'll probably be overlooked or dismissed by too many people who assume that it's only worth playing if you're a fan of the anime, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that it's worth checking out regardless whether or not you're familiar with Sword Art Online.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is an enjoyable game that does have it's flaws.

Although it is fun to hack and slash things on the go, the paper thin storyline and bland quests make this game difficult to recommend. Fans might enjoy the character interactions, but if you're looking for that, there are plenty of other and better games on the Vita.

Unfortunately, Lost Song stumbles hardest when trying to engage players outside that sphere of pre-existing investment, and in some ways ends up an even less suitable jumping-off point for newbies who want to get in on enjoying the franchise.

The big maps are monotonous. All the dungeons got same texture, and it feels like you play the same dungeon over and over again. The story doesn't make me one bit motivated to progress in the game. Classes are imbalanced. It doesn't try to resemble MMORPG, for those who dream to play single player mmorpg.
All this game really offer is some fan service - all the girls will join unconditionally in your party, and they will dress whatever you want them to dress - including that beach suit, on which they are almost naked. About fly system? OMG, I fly and? The monotonous map doesn't make big difference if you fly or no. See, if I could free fly in Terra Online(for example), would be very happy. But not here.
Monsters variety is so low, so you feel like fighting same enemies over and over again.
    This game sucks.

El cartucho está guardado en su caja. No he logrado terminar el juego...
