Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls takes a stride in the right direction with its variety of unique new features and refreshing new cast of characters. Unfortunately it felt like they could have done better and put more work into it. I say this because it felt a bit like it was slapped together quickly using a large number of music tracks and graphics that are the same as those used in previous games in the series. The exploration of dungeons is more fun and exciting than ever with the ability to now climb and crawl making it feel like a new experience. The new character class feature makes it possible to customize your characters to a degree and adds a bit of nostalgia. Despite the "been there, done that" feeling caused by excessive use of old music and graphics there were moments in which the game truly shined with the help of a stronger story, great cast of characters, and the small number of great new features. Definitely a must have if you are a fan of the series! Expand

This game destroyed me. It is so outstanding. The gameplay and story are so great because of interesting time travel system. You have 5 eras. The first era is actually the latest one, it's a wasteland, and you have to repair history to improve current time. The first era is actually the latest one, it's a wasteland, and you have to repair history to improve current time. The world (which is totally different than in the rest of the series, it's alternative history) is shaped by Sega consoles. First one is Mega Drive (Genesis), it is antiquity with greek-like architecture. Then you have Sega Saturn Era, middle ages like. All eras show the same geographical place, so it is interesting to see how things change. There are the same dungeons, but they change subtely and expand. Third era is Game Gear, it's quite modern, very industrial place with a city that is one big factory. It is my favourite era, the athmosphere and music is incredible. The Last era is Dreamcast, it is futuristic city.

You start in the great library that stores the world history and you travel through time to repair it to save the world from apocalypse. You team up with goddesses known from earlier games, and personifications of Sega consoles, called Sega Hard Girls, as well as girl called Segami, who is enigmatic entity who fell from the sky. Characters are very likeable.

The battle system is fast and fun. You don't have to grind much if you buy EXP DLC. The party can consist of max 4 girls, but even unused members gain equal exp. Dungeons are fun because there are coins and hidden balls to collect. You can jump, climb, crawl through holes. There are many interesting battle mechanics, like party formations, fever gauge, skills, exe drive. There are 3 possible endings: true end, normal end and bad end. True end is particulary epic and spectacular, you should see it.

Overall it is the best game on Vita. I highly recommend it to any RPG or anime fan.

Second best game, hands down. No other game can pass this one, aside from VII. A fun little story, featuring the best versions of IF and Iris Heart. We also get the boisterous Segamin as well. It also has some of the best screenshottable quotes ever. Not to mention the game is pretty fun. DO NOT FIGHT DELPHINUS UNTIL YOU ARE READY! It feels kind of weird to describe a Hyperdimension Neptunia game as being for fans only — since, after all, “being for fans only” often feels like the point of the whole series. In this case, however, it feels even more appropriate than usual, since Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls really is just for fans of both Sega Hard Girls and Hyperdimension Neptunia.

A game that maintain the series quality by retaining some of the classics game mechanics ad mixing them with new features to obtain an interesting new flavor. The character mixture from the “Neptune” series and “Sega Hard Girls” is really funny.

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls is a charming RPG that combines all of the magic of the anthropomorphic versions from the SEGA consoles and the parody characters from de Hyperdimension Neptunia series. However, that doesn't stop it to feel like another and simple game from the genre. If you had played any of the previous entries from the Nep Nep franchise, you will find it really familiar and maybe without any kind of surprises at all.
