Mar 3, 2015OlliOlli 2 is a sublime game, that manages to keep the keep the soul of what the first game was, but refine it and innovate it to new-untouched levels of brilliance.
-
Mar 10, 2015OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood is truly everything that a sequel to OlliOlli should be; it takes the already amazing formula of the first game and injects adrenaline right into its coded heart, causing that euphoric feeling you got tricking every obstacle to become a level-long high of foot-to-board madness - and I'm addicted.
-
Mar 19, 2015The good news (if that continued dedication to being insanely hard doesn't count as good news for you) is that OlliOlli2 is also just as addictive as its predecessor.
-
Mar 6, 2015Addictive, accessible, with precise controls and tons of fun. OlliOlli 2 takes everything that made the previous title in the series great and expands it with necessary adjustments that results in one of the best games in its genre.
-
Mar 4, 2015rustration, fury, and eventual elation - it's all in a day's work for OlliOlli 2. A near-perfect sequel.
-
Mar 3, 2015OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is yet another state of the art game for PS Vita. Even though it's also available for PS4, Sony's handheld is still the best platform for this kind of game, that has evolved with style, with the mechanics that made it a great success and adding new ones. Better visuals and a soundtrack that will make some music-loving players buy it.
-
Mar 14, 2015One of the best indie games of the year -so far-, and a modern reminder of everything that made Tony Hawk's games a sure hit. Still waiting the split screen mode.
-
Games Master UKMay 6, 2015Maddening and brilliant in equal measure. [May 2015, p.70]
-
Mar 9, 2015It's a great sequel, once more a pure celebration of the arcade "high score" philosophy.
-
Mar 6, 2015Another inspired mix of skateboarding and 2D platforming that manages to combine a surprising level of realism with some wonderfully impossible level design.
-
Mar 17, 2015Sometimes less is more. The new manual mechanic is fun, but it's also the default thing to do. The chase for the perfect combo is good, but when that ends OlliOlli 2 doesn't do much to provide meaningful choices to the players. It's still a great skate game, able to capture the spirit of the sport, but it could have done "less".

Mar 11, 2015I don’t get it. They improve on almost every level. They add new elements, the flow feeling is stronger than in the first iteration. And then they decide that from the half way point they ramp up the difficulty level so immensely that flow turns to frustration faster than you can fall off the board. I don’t get it.
