Behind a pink mist, Criminal Girls - Invite Only hides a dull dungeon crawler, with a boring gameplay and luck based mechanics. If punishing half naked girls with your fingers is not your bread and butter, you can avoid this game entirely.

Controversial? Maybe. Interesting? No. I nearly died of boredom. [08/2015, p.79]

Despite the desperate efforts of its kinky spanking, erotic imagery and unpredictable battle system, Criminal Girls: Invite Only is a crashing bore.

There’s enjoyment to be found within the game’s combat, but it’s just not worth stomaching the tedious design and perverse activities to find the pearl inside.

Criminal Girls: Invitation Only is a title with a very, very, very specific audience. RPG fans will find the combat tedious and the plot generic, and those looking for a dose of scantily clad anime girls will probably be turned off by the whipping and electrocution.

Criminal Girls: Invite Only is a niche title at best, and it'll appear strange to any outsiders looking in. Despite that, the content isn't overly offensive in context, and it's handled about as well as you could expect.

A dull grind from the get go.

If you love fanservice, and especially the kind that lets you exploit underage-looking anime girls feel free to add a couple of marks to that – if you’re everyone else then knock a couple off.

Criminal Girls: Invite Only is most likely a title that will be condemned for its slightly misogynistic undertones, but in truth it should be denounced for its shoddy game play, bland characters and unambitious level designs.

For the price of Criminal Girls, you could buy a whole bunch of sex toys, one of those big anime pillows with a naked girl on it, or some really nice handcuffs and a whip. Regardless of who you use them on, you’ll have more fun with them than you will with this game.

I wanted to like this game, heard it was censored, but thought how bad could it be cut up?
apparently a LOT. pink fog, added animal tails

I am a perv, openly perverted, and they destroyed this game.
I am completely lost at why a company that knows a game is aimed at a certain gamer type, would take out everything those gamers were after.....
they ruined what would have been a pervs delight, what made it unique.
do yourself a favor and import it.

I felt really weird about purchasing this game, since I am usually turned off by pervy games (Senran Kagura i'm pointing at you!) However, the gameplay looked retro and fun; plus I really wanted to play my Vita more, so I caved. What I did not expect is to enjoy both the battle system and pervy moments; I often laughed at the ridiculous interactive scenes with the girls. The story isn’t anything special, but I never intended to play the game for that anyways (I mean come on, the game is called Criminal Girls Invite Only). In the end, I am really enjoying this game. BUT I do have one warning, do not play this game in public with the volume turned up to 100 percent! I can only imagine the looks you would get… Full Review »

Definitely aI bought this game because I've been suffering from a dirth of JRPGs and I though this one looked adorable. Boy, was I wrong. Definitely a dirty, dirty game so be warned. While it does appear all the creativity went into developing the leveling and combat system, the game still has some appeal. Linear gameplay makes it not particularly challenging moving through the game, but the limitations of the combat system and the intrigue of the leveling system adds something that can be enjoyed.
