    $40 for a game that is free on android and cost $5 on an Ipad which has a much bigger screen than the Vita. How can they possibly price this game this much, amyone who buys this on the Vita is a moron

    make it $0.99 and people will buy it. 40 dollars is way too much for a game for mobile that costed 39 dollars less.. the controls... i don't know how, but they **** it up. its massively jittery. if you want angry birds star wars, get the mobile version.

    This game costs 32.99 AUD in my PSN and 39.99 for a retail US version. Price wise i would rate this game 5/10. but to honest, by ignoring the fact that the pricing is kinda insane when you can get it for 2 dollar on iphone and kinda free on android its still a good game !

    I have tested Vita version, There are no performance issues, loadings are fast, touch and controls are responsive and more or less it is as good as any other version exist out there. The additional features such as multiplayer are welcome or exclusive levels are cool but they do not add that much value to the game honestly. Still there is hours and hours of fun with this game and if you dunt mind about the price you should pick it up also its a very small game, sized less than 500mb so i recommend getting it from ps (cheaper) rather than retail version.    … Expand

    Why did they sell a phone game? I thought this was free, like it's not like those re-releases of Tetris where the game adds more to the game it is just the same thing.

    Now that the game is older, and the price is much less, most of these reviews aren't all that valid. The game still has some serious issues, though.

    One issues is the touch controls. They are fine in general, with options to use the rear or front touch screen/pads, and feel ok to use. But the one problem which hurts is that all the pads are active at once; there's no way to shut off the rear pad, which means if you set the game down, or touch it in the wrong way you can fire a bird off at random. It can be frustrating when that happens, or when you double tap the bird by mistake while using the rear pad and activate its ability.

    Another is that the birds in general don't feel heavy or fast enough. This might be due to how huge the maps are (which leads to zooming out so much that even the Vita's nice screen doesn't help the game feel tiny), but trying to send a single bird to the back of the map seems almost pointless.

    Finally, they still kept the annoying F2P difficulty in a console release. There's an achievement for restarting a level 100 times; that's how bad it can be. You get a lot of one stars and few three stars unless you obsessively replay the level, when honestly there's so many levels that they could have dialed it down some and still have a fun, lengthy game.

    The game isn't all bad though. The graphics are nice on vita, there's a ton of levels, the birds abilities are fun, and the sound effects and music are spot on. It's just that there are some frustrating aspects to this game which dial the enjoyment down some.    … Expand

    Like, do you even really like this game, user score, like angry birds is a good game, not a bad game so please be kind to Rovio and Activision

    How the developer managed to get the controls for Angry Birds Star Wars on Vita so wrong, we'll probably never know. What we do know is that you should probably give this one a miss.

    It's the Angry Birds that, in all likelihood, you've come you know and (hopefully) love, and it's transferred over to the Vita with all the fun intact.
