    I love the souls games from "From Software", there is a good balance of difficulty. The level design is great on those games.

    For this game, it is complete trash. Graphically, it is worst than Sekiro, a ps4 game that released 4 years ago. The difficulty is ridiculous and you can only play one way. Time Parry or get destroyed. The first boss after playing 30 min destroyes you. I am out.    I love the souls games from "From Software", there is a good balance of difficulty.     Mediocre in almost all aspects, argument, story, and dialogues, are awful, and some mechanics are prehistorical. The only decent thing is SOME aspects of the gameplay (fighting, but even that is mediocre since the limited number of enemy types, and that you can kill most of them by mashing buttons

    This game is utter trash. From the clunky controls, to the bad mechanics, to the ridiculous "tutorial boss". This game should have never been released. Beat all the Souls games, Nioh 1 & 2, and Elden Ring...this game...is a dumpster fire. Don't waste your time, money, or bandwidth on his PoS.

    It’s the 21st century can’t believe developers are still releasing games which rely on perfect timing.

    Reason the fromsoft games were fun was even though you died a lot you were encouraged to learn from your mistakes and use these to improve.

    If you can’t get the timing spot on you will struggle multiple times.

    When you’re overloaded it affects timing but unlike the souls game which affects the characters speed this piece of rubbish gives you no indication you’re overloaded.

    There’s no way to increase your weight limit so you have to contend with being overloaded permanently.

    There’s no way to see if the equipment you’re picking up is useful or not till you’ve picked it up.

    Very inconsistent one character first time I killed him I got 4000 qi.

    Started a new game and killed him again got 1000 qi wtf is that about.

    If you try the training mode to improve your skills but have too much equipment you can’t discard any equipment but can’t complete the training mode because you have too much equipment. If you then try to exit the training mode there’s no option.

    If you do master the parry it’s pointless as it’s different for each weapon you use.

    Come on team ninja it’s not April Fools for a month is this an early Joke and did you honestly play test this pile of crap you released a patch fixing bugs 3 day after this was released.

    Not sure of what you were trying to achieve with this I’d but a fromsoft title without reading any reviews but wouldn’t buy anything you release ever again even if your titles had perfect reviews.

    Will be trading in this rubbish as soon as I have the chance.    … Expand

    Не понятно для чего нагибают игрока играть только через парирование. Не понятно для чего такой первый босс. Не понятно для чего вообще блок в этой игре и кувырок как таковой. Зачем прокачка тоже не понятно. Удалил эту игру, желания продолжать играть нет никакого. Жаль потраченных денег на ЭТО.Не понятно для чего нагибают игрока играть только через парирование.     No chance. Not even ER or Seki gamers like it.
    Locking everything behind the first boss who less then 30% of the players can beat is also horrid.
    You buy for coop snd never even get to unlock it if you cant beat zhang. Talk about poor design

This is unacceptable, as it proves they rushed the game out without fixing major bugs. Parry timing inconsistent. Elemental weapon buff duration is far too short, almost as of it was never balanced. Enemy attack rng is literally unfair and unreadable, 2 red attacks in a row with no chance of parrying both. Serious balance issues. An entire aspect of the combat system, special effects, which are a super dumbed down version of special attacks from Nioh 2, becomes literally irrelevant and unusable partway through the game due to how open it leaves you to attacks. Boss fights last about 3 times longer than they should even at full fortitude. Serious downgrade to how weapons work overall vs Nioh 2. Dumbing down of the combat customization in comparison to Nioh 2. Boring generic characters. Boring nonexistent story. Controls and gameplay overall feel far to frantic and cluttered, the developers just said "make it like sekiro". While the game is more stable than sekiro by a wide margin, the rhythm and feel of the gameplay is somehow less polished and like an imitation. Level design is lacking on a level I did not think possible. Everything looks the same and I run in circles constantly. Just...I don't even know. Too many things to count. I had hope that they had learned from Nioh 2, but they DEVOLVED TO FURTHER DEGENERACY.

    After getting further into the game, the quality, especially in level design drops *dramatically*. Copy and pasted, linear, boring levels, that you MUST explore EVERY INCH of to PROGRESS. One of the WORST, LEAST ENJOYABlE souls likes ever, by far the most linear.    … Expand

    Terrible difficulty 1st boss. Makes the game not fun at all and you basically get stuck unless you learn parry combos. How anyone finds this fun or how it made it through any play testing is insane. I'm swearing off team ninja products if this is the way its going to be.

    I feel cheated even getting this game for free day on of launch on gamepass.

    They should have just released the content as an addon for Nioh 2 since it's basically still the same game.

Ho provato la demo definitiva un dungeon vuoto con nemici scemi ed una boss fight doppia da tutorial. Ritengo che sia un brutto inizio. Non è un gioco equilibrato. Non merita di essere comprato ho disinstallato. E giusto che sia presente una sfida. Ma ritengo che si merita un non classificabile come scala dei 10. Non lo comprerò mai e poi mai. Non insegna nulla questo gioco abusivo. Non è divertente non è il flop of the year. Ma merita uno 0 come voto. È stata una pessima demo. Solo una perdita di tempo. Giocate ad altro di più godibile. Spero che con Rise of Ronin la smettessero di realizzare questi finti Souls Like li chiamerei Hard Like i giochi del team Ninja. Spero che Rise of Ronin sia più equilibrato e preveda un esperienza più godibile più vecchia scuola negli open world ma un contesto che da molte soddisfazioni.… Expand

    the game is a total disappointment. the game looks like it was from 2012. not even the ps5 version gets a stable frame rate of 60 fps in performance mode... it can't be the graphics. that is worse than with nioh.

    the game is just unfinished.

    Big downgrade compared to Nioh. Worse combat with poor variety (no weapon skills ffs). You must rely on parries.. no thx bro. Even parries are not satisfying here.

    Solo te lo puedes pasar de una manera, "haciendo parrys". Parece como si hubieran dicho, que le den por cul* a los que no tienen reflejos o no saber timear los ataques, porque no le vamos a dar más opciones.     Garbage of the year. this "game" is incredibly and unnecessarily complicated, the interface is crooked and unintuitive, the visuals raise a lot of questions, some buttons sometimes don't click, the story is sparse, the narration is slow and tedious. Not recommended to anyone

    Horrible game. Feels terrible to play, and the difficulty curve is ridiculous. Even as a Souls veteran this game is too difficult, and not in a fun way.

    Bosses are fast, aggressive, tough. They hit you two times and it's over. But they all have the same mechanics and just different timing. So inexperienced players may feel frustration, while for experienced souls it won't be major problem to get through the game without a scratch. [Issue#326]

    Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a lovechild between Sekiro and Nioh games with some Chinese mythos and history sprinkled on the top. It is a truly great combat experience that is drawn back by somewhat convoluted storytelling, lackluster decisions to simplify magic and attributes and severe optimization problems. With that said, it is a really fun experience that any fan of the genre will surely love.
