    I had a blast with Wild Hearts.
    2nd run with bow type character, will do a 3rd later to try the cannon.
    Some may say it's a MH clone, but for me it's a Hunting Game; it's like saying KOF is a SF clone because it has punches and kicks. It may not be as polished as the Capcom counterpart (only played World/Iceborne), but it has much more variety in monsters (too many dragons/lizards in    I had a blast with Wild Hearts.

    It may not be as polished as the Capcom counterpart (only played World/Iceborne), but it has much more variety in monsters (too many dragons/lizards in MH) and bigger (but fewer) regions, which is better for me.
    What I'm loving the most is its Japanese setting and influence overall, even in smaller details.
    Kemonos are very well designed creatures, fun to hunt.
    Weapons are fun to use and I have a Bloodborne-ish feeling when you awaken or transform them, and another thing I love is the Armor sets evolution, from balanced to human or kemono. Some of them look dope.
    The Karakuri mechanic is fun as hell, as well as the "inspiration" you get in some hunts to create healing springs, walls, cannons...really adds a deeper level of fun in hunting.
    As I said it may not be the most polished game, and has its flaws for sure, but gameplay is solid. And most importantly FUN.    … Expand

    im at 13 hours gameplay.
    Play it with ps5 and there is no performance issue for me right now, game run great and smooth.
    this gameplay addict me, the battle control feel so smooth compare to MH. weapon maybe same like MH but all the skill feel different, no copy paste. they make their own charm, same with the monster design and abilities. also u can create many furniture for your camp    im at 13 hours gameplay.
    Play it with ps5 and there is no performance issue for me right now, game run great and smooth.

    this game really good competitor for MH series, both game have own charm. hope this game can go farther. at least before waiting for new MH games, we can spend our time with this games, or maybe play both lol.

    Wild Hearts is one of the best games of 2023. Sword fight combat action is very good. The story is also very good. The samurai army has invaded some army. It dealt with the war between the army and the wolves who retreated from such a powerful military invasion. The scale is very gigantic, just like Mononoke-hime.

    모노노케히메도 진주인공이 아시타카인 만큼 원래 제목이 '아시타카의 전기'으로 정하려고 했었다던데

    Played a lot of monster hunter, but craft action gets more interesting than monster hunters, and feel very rewarding when I defeat the beast. Very fun!
    The music is gorgeous and sound effects are immersive. who is the composer? I don't really know cause the official doesn't give out any information... I love music of RageTail. Please release the soundtrack ASAP!

    Game is amazing! I was skeptical about it because it being attached to EA, but they came through and dropped a GEM. MH has real competition now.

    Way better than I expected! You have to use actual strategy to set up traps, tower, zip lines etc. to fight the huge amount of monsters in this game. They are all so unique and different too so you have to rethink your ways before the battles each time. GOTY.

    What a fantastic game! I’ve put a little over 200 hours into this game and I still can’t get enough. The combat is smooth and the battles feel so immersive. Fighting the monsters in this game is so much fun and intense! It can be challenging and some monsters (Kemono) will really test your skill, but it’s such an enjoyable experience. I feel like the only people that have given this game aWhat a fantastic game! I’ve put a little over 200 hours into this game and I still can’t get enough.     I have been playing Monster Hunter games for years and I gotta say Wild Hearts is so much better. The gameplay is phenomenal, I love how you use the karakuri during the battles, the graphics are beautiful, some minor bugs here and there mostly sound bugs, the story is ok, the fights with the monsters are amazing. It is a very nice game and I recommend it to people who have been playingI have been playing Monster Hunter games for years and I gotta say Wild Hearts is so much better. The gameplay is phenomenal, I love how you use the karakuri during the battles, the graphics are beautiful, some minor bugs here and there mostly sound bugs, the story is ok, the fights with the monsters are amazing.     This title is a fantastic addition to the hunting genre. The inclusion of the karakuri, the interactable objects you build on the fly, really broadens how you interact with hunts. Each weapon interacts with them differently, giving you a lot of options.

    I especially like the base building and food preparation. It keeps everything very flexible and allows you to set things up how you like. The food is the same way as you can build custom meals for whichever monster you're hunting. There's no randomness to what buffs you will receive, either.

    I have about 30 hours in the game at this point and have experienced no graphical glitches or bugs. I run on performance mode for those sweet frames. I never noticed a dip in frame rate, even during busy hunts.

    For the cons, sometimes the karakuri won't come together because of uneven terrain. It can be especially frustrating when a monster is charging you and you can't get your shield wall or barricade up because you're on a hill or whatever. Some actions have a sluggish response time, like drinking healing water. I've taken to hammering the button to make sure it happens.

    Despite those complaints, the game is very fun and satisfying to play. If you are a fan of other hunting games, like God Eater or Monster Hunter, this will provide you with a unique take on the genre and it is highly recommended.    … Expand

    I'm a really big Monster Hunter fan and I wasn't expecting to like this game so much. It is definitely unique enough to be a different game of the same genre. The combat is a lot more high speed and the weapons have their unique style of play and are a lot of fun to play with (Love Claw Blade). Karakuri system is also fun to explore.     Great game with a lot of new mechanics and beautiful monster design. Way better than Monster hunter rise. A bit more optimazation would be great but i can see that the devs are already patching alot of issues so defnetly can recommend this game!

Though this doesn't excuse the terrible publishing of EA, the actual dev team that made Wild Hearts has made something special against all odds that is extremely enjoyable for Monster Hunter fans and people looking to get into the Genre. Not going to give many spoilers here, the performance on ps5 is also pretty rough but can only get better through patches.

    The game is extremely ambitious, being able to craft all kinds of utilities including your own base camps all over each map. The weapons as well from the 3 I have played an extended amount of are incredibly fun, and though some of them may have similar moves to a MH wep, none feel like they were copy/pasted and most have mechanics not included in any MH wep.

    My score of a 9 reflects as if the game was running at 100% as the devs intended and not if it was rushed out by a terrible publisher (EA). Also I saw a low scoring review here claiming there are only "10 boss monsters", not giving spoilers again; but that's false. There are around 20 and more are being added for free in future updates starting with the first one in March.    … Expand

    Games rly fun to play on console, even with graphic bugs u get sometimes, u forget about it because the game entertains u so much. It ain’t some AAA graphics, but the gameplay is the core of this game. If you think about getting it, get Ea play for 5$ and try the game!:)

But there’s more than enough new mechanics, environments and battles to make it feel like the next step in the series rather than a clone. The hunts have exactly the same visceral thrill and sense of mastery that made MHW one of my favourite games of recent years.This is the Monster Hunter World sequel I was waiting for. There’s no point pretending it’s not MH, because it absolutely is. But there’s more than enough new mechanics, environments and battles to make it feel like the next step in the series rather than a clone. The hunts have exactly the same visceral thrill and sense of mastery that made MHW one of my favourite games of recent years.

    Yes, there are definitely some framerate and camera issues. Some people will want to wait for a couple of patches before diving in. But I’m unbothered given how great the whole package is.    … Expand

    With performance and HDR now fixed on ps5 the game is freaking wicked fun. Content is seriously lacking however and youll get about 50-60 hours out of this game. More if you chase un-needed things like accessories and cosmetics. As for main OP weapons and gear and story though, 50/60 hours. There is NO legit endgame currently either. You need to learn their movement, and eat properly (e.g. against certain elements, status effects) + Great crafting system with lots of options    Short: Gameplay GOOD, Technical aspects are lacking.

    Long version:

    + Good gameplay, fast but not unfair
    + Katakuri system is an awesome addition and adds depth to the gameplay
    + Challenging especially the monsters towards the end. You need to learn their movement, and eat properly (e.g. against certain elements, status effects)
    + Great crafting system with lots of options (especially the weapon tree system); However, the armor section is missing a bit more variety of unique skills.
    + The maps and the possibility to customize them (camps, routes etc.); It's a lot of fun to set up the traversal on different maps and becoming more efficient at traversing through the map.

    Technical aspects:

    + Play it on performance, no issues of the resolution mode present here and good performance.
    - Online is a mixed bag. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
    - Broken HDR

    Resolution mode: Basically unplayable. Whatever upscaling technique they are using, it results in tons of issues. Here are some examples:

    - flickering textures
    - blurry textures
    - pop-in
    - visual artifacts
    - shimmering

The storyline with the different approaches and characters is fun and you always want to keep playing. Of course, the demon hunt in medieval Japan is clearly in the foreground. We get a lot in terms of gameplay and can really let off steam in many aspects. The graphics are also wellThus, Electronic Arts and KOEI TECMO created a really great game for the PlayStation 5 with "Wild Hearts". The storyline with the different approaches and characters is fun and you always want to keep playing. Of course, the demon hunt in medieval Japan is clearly in the foreground. We get a lot in terms of gameplay and can really let off steam in many aspects. The graphics are also well done and the soundtrack always sounds good. Unfortunately, the frequent loading times with an ugly loading screen are annoying and no longer feel contemporary.     20 hours in and I just at chapter 1, this game is incredibly fun to play and mess around. Also it looks very beautiful on PS5 and performance optimisation is really good too.

    EDIT: after 40 hours in game I have to mention 2 BIG issues this games has: armor sets and monsters. For the sets, all of them are not good, no badass armor, no sexy armor - just bulky mess and even then it's just    20 hours in and I just at chapter 1, this game is incredibly fun to play and mess around.     As a beginner in the monster hunt game type. This was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Great genre and great game not to spoil it with it has unike special moves. I enjoyed playing this game for hours sometimes and nights. The only remark is that the graphics in some parts, I won't say bad, but it's not AAA quality. I definitely recommend it as an entry into the genre and as a greatAs a beginner in the monster hunt game type. This was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Great genre and great game not to spoil it with it has unike special moves. I enjoyed playing this game for hours sometimes and nights. The only remark is that the graphics in some parts, I won't say bad, but it's not AAA quality. I definitely recommend it as an entry into the genre and as a great game all in all.     Ich mag Spiele mit einem Grafikstil wie diesem wirklich gerne, aber WILD HEARTS ist sehr schlecht optimiert. Ich habe mich sehr darauf gefreut, als das Spiel veröffentlicht wurde, konnte es aber nicht vollständig erleben.

    The hunter game is challenging but at the same time forgiving for beginners, beautiful design, good graphics, the game offers many types of weapons to choose from, and fun gameplay,
    But the game is a bit repetitive.

    After about 27 hours, I can easily say that I regret buying this game. It’s just a massive time sink with little to no reward. Find monster. Attack attack attack. Chase monster. Attack. Chase monster. Attack and kill. Not get any items that make better armor or weapons. Repeat. It’s angered and annoyed me far more than given me a fun experience.

    It had the potetional to be amazing but for everything it does right it does two things wrong. Fast paced, visually stunning combat contrasts with input lag and inconsistent hit boxes equals that fast paced combat feeling broken once you start dealing with enemies that can 1 shot you. I completed it but by the end I was just so over this game and more then    Should have been delayed.

    Maybe this review is not fair because of the comparison to monster hunter. A game that has been improved over the years to reach the stage it is in now in terms of gameplay and mechanics. The graphics are somewhat worst than monster hunter rise. Wild heart is ok at best. The monsters are not that great in terms of design and the fights feel boring. There is a lot of running and repetition.Maybe this review is not fair because of the comparison to monster hunter.     3.画质真的太差了，我很难想象这是2023年的游戏，制作组的技术真的限制了这个游戏的发展，灾难性的画面技术使我必须忍受1080p60的游戏分辨率(别忘了，这可是2023年登陆ps5,XSX,PC的游戏）    … Expand

    After spending most of the last year on Sunbreak which I loved across platforms, Omega Force and EA's Wild Hearts is a perfect complement for Monster Hunter fans looking to play another great game in the genre. While it is unfortunately held back by technical issues, Wild Hearts does a lot that takes the genre forward, and I can't wait to keep playing the postgame through the coming months while we hopefully get more updates.

    Wild Hearts is a decent proposal for the hunting genre and especially for those that seek something more accessible. At the same time the karakuri (construction) mechanism is a good and quite clever addition to the genre.

    For every success, Wild Hearts makes several mistakes. There's a great concept behind all this, but the design problems, the poor balance and the technical errors make this title fall far short of what it was meant to be.
