Aug 16, 2024White Day dares to be actually terrifying, something that many modern horror games fail to accomplish. And even if the story ultimately fails to be as interesting as it initially appears to be, the simplicity of White Day's gameplay elements and mechanics make you remember times when horror games used to haunt you with nightmares.

That doesn’t mean it’s not worth experiencing, though – if you value an uncomfortable, oppressive atmosphere in your survival horror, along with a haunting and compelling story, then White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is definitely worthy of your time.

What it lacks in modern day graphics and mechanics it makes up for with a plethora of lore and swimsuit DLCs. Still, many questionable and outdated design choices hold it back from being truly amazing.
