Bloodline expands on Watch Dogs Legion's London, with new missions, returning characters, and a slightly different setting to explore. While it doesn't add much in the way of new features, it's the perfect reason to come back to the Old Smoke and give it the middle finger once again.

The first narrative expansion of Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline is a strange creature: a sort of hybrid between the classic course of the series and the more libertarian approach followed with the latest iteration of the brand. Although the DLC does not always manage to find the right balance between its two natures, generating some fluctuations both on the playful and on the narrative side, the result is a fun and smooth experience, which ultimately manages to achieve what is its goal number one: to offer early-stage fans a functional closure to Aiden Pearce's story.

If you have good memories of Aiden Pearce and Wrench, Bloodline is probably for you.

Watch Dogs Legion is a better game these days, and Bloodline manages to build a stronger narrative out of its various mechanics and gameplay systems. It’s more of the same under the surface, but playable characters Aiden and Wrench bring new enjoyment to the core campaign and evolving online modes, while simultaneously padding out the series’ overall lore with their own storyline.

If you’re a big fan of the original Watch Dogs, there’s no doubt you’ll get a kick out of stepping into Aiden Pearce’s Iconic shoes once more. Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline tells a decent story, but it doesn’t do a great deal to expand the game’s world in any meaningful way. It’s another excuse to roam around London and gawp at the beautiful sights – but aside from one truly standout gameplay section, that’s about it.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline is a shallow narrative expansion, with a good storyline undermined by a lazy structure and the choice of giving far less importance to London, which was the best element of the original game.

Just finished this and I wish this was the original story with the original game. They could have done so much with it but to see them package this in a DLC for Legions.....AMAZING!!!! So well executed.......Play it!

If you are a fan of Aden from Watch Dogs then this is a pretty excellent experience in London and on the PS5! It's awesome and I had fun playing Legion with one character instead of recruiting all the time. Don't get me wrong and the recruiting mechanics where great but I prefer one character that I can upgrade and build on like Watch Dogs 1 & 2. Bloodline is a solid DLC and I highly recommend jumping back into London with Aden Pearce.

Not some live service or "recruit every npc ever", no. They want solid story and likable characters. This DLC is watch dogs done right! I truly hope that they make Watch Dogs 3 (or should it be called 4 now?) about Aiden's story that takes place somewhere between Watch Dogs 2 and Legion, somewhere in America. I would be fine with some additional playable character in certain missions, but overall it should be Aiden's story. It would sell A LOT. Full Review »

This is what fans from watch dogs 1 and watch dogs 2 wanted to play. Likable characters are very important and legion normal game doesn't deliver that
