I'm still enjoying Train Sim World 3, even if the content can revisit their old DLC packs. The driving remains a relaxing experience and the breadth of routes on offer can give players plenty to work towards. What you get with the standard edition provides a nice mix of passenger and freight journeys whilst the deluxe edition adds steam engines into the mix. They all feel different to operate and have their own challenges. Visually, it's an improvement although not as polished as I'd like. It's a fun package, although I'd love Dovetail Games to finally consolidate all their Train Sim World content under one roof.

The game"Train Sim World 3 employs an unconventional selection color scheme, leading to considerable confusion when navigating menu items. The game further draws criticism due to forced narrative intermissions that hold players captive for extended periods, impeding the flow of gameplay.

Additionally, the game's insistence on a separate account login, despite PS5's capabilities to maintain logged-in credentials, poses unnecessary hurdles to game entry and detracts from the user-friendly experience expected in contemporary gaming.

As it stands, Train Sim World 3 is rated a disappointing 2/5 overall. The training center, in particular, garners a meager rating of 1/5, indicating substantial room for improvement in both functionality and design. It's evident that, in its current state, Train Sim World 3 fails to deliver a satisfactory simulation gaming experience."

I'm very surprised at how well it runs on the PS5, using the controller. The graphics could be a little better for the environment (but still good enough). However, the locomotive models themselves are really excellent both inside and out. The only drawback I see is the lack of longer routes (3-5h). I hope Dovetail will add some. If someone likes Euro Track Simulator type games then he will definitely be satisfied with this title. Developers - really good job! I do not regret a penny spent on TSW3. Full Review »
