"Train Sim World 3 employs an unconventional selection color scheme, leading to considerable confusion when navigating menu items. The game further draws criticism due to forced narrative intermissions that hold players captive for extended periods, impeding the flow of gameplay.

Additionally, the game's insistence on a separate account login, despite PS5's capabilities to maintain logged-in credentials, poses unnecessary hurdles to game entry and detracts from the user-friendly experience expected in contemporary gaming.

As it stands, Train Sim World 3 is rated a disappointing 2/5 overall. The training center, in particular, garners a meager rating of 1/5, indicating substantial room for improvement in both functionality and design. It's evident that, in its current state, Train Sim World 3 fails to deliver a satisfactory simulation gaming experience."

A totally relaxing and addictive simulator. I'm very surprised at how well it runs on the PS5, using the controller. The graphics could be a little better for the environment (but still good enough). However, the locomotive models themselves are really excellent both inside and out. The only drawback I see is the lack of longer routes (3-5h). I hope Dovetail will add some. If someone likesA totally relaxing and addictive simulator. If someone likes Euro Track Simulator type games then he will definitely be satisfied with this title. Developers - really good job! I do not regret a penny spent on TSW3. Expand

A few rough edges and occasional bugs don’t derail this fantastically immersive simulator. Train Sim World 3 is not only an incredibly relaxing experience, but arguably the best train simulator to-date.

I'm still enjoying Train Sim World 3, even if the content can revisit their old DLC packs. The driving remains a relaxing experience and the breadth of routes on offer can give players plenty to work towards. What you get with the standard edition provides a nice mix of passenger and freight journeys whilst the deluxe edition adds steam engines into the mix. They all feel different to operate and have their own challenges. Visually, it's an improvement although not as polished as I'd like. It's a fun package, although I'd love Dovetail Games to finally consolidate all their Train Sim World content under one roof.

Train Sim World 3 is the most immersive railway simulation from Dovetail to date. For the first time since the series debuted, the game really sells the illusion that you’re on a journey – and impressively enormous routes like Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel-Würzburg help. While the release still has obvious visual flaws, the new lighting, volumetric clouds, and dynamic weather system take the presentation to the next level – and the user interface improvements should not be underestimated either. The target audience for a title like this will never be especially large, but few other franchises find a balance between simulation, virtual tourism, and zen-like relaxation quite like this one.
