    to a T embraces the absurd and unconventional in a charismatic narrative experience. In the format of positive social critique, the game hits the mark on some issues but falls short by being overly silly and simplistic.

    Heartfelt, charming and very on-brand for Keita Takahashi, to a T is a fun episodic journey of a teenager stuck in the T-pose. However, with an emphasis on narrative and cut scenes, the gameplay takes a backseat, making those fleeting moments of T-posing minigame shenaginans feel less impactful as a result.

    The extra content isn't particularly special, but the minigames do help position To a T more as a game than an experiment. Still, it contains all the experimental craziness you’d expect from Keita Takahashi. To a T is once again an absurd trip that only Keita Takahashi could create. It’s not the longest or most profound game you’ll experience this year, but it overflows with charm, humor, and Takahashi’s unique personality.

    As likeably silly as it is, To a T feels like an extended episode of Sesame Street that drags on too long between the good bits. Takahashi has again delivered a singularly unusual design but one that lacks the gameplay loop that Katamari wielded so compulsively.

    Charming, silly, and occasionally profound but Keita Takahashi’s latest lacks the gameplay hook of Katamari Damacy, even if it is surprisingly well written.

    To a T is a cute game about acceptance and community, but it doesn't do enough to keep it's concept fresh or engaging for the duration of the game, and there's a major lack of enjoyable gameplay to pair with it.
