    Garbage. Nothing else.

    The mechanics are clumsy and just bad, the story is awful and boring, the setting is a weird choice, considering it's a LOTR Game. I don't know how something like this can happen. Gollum will be the definition of ,,Bad Game" for the next year's.

    this is the best game ever made, I have always wanted a game where I could play as gollum, gollum is my favourite fictional character of all time and I think he is perfect in this game and I hope they make more gollum

    This is the most bugged game a saw for a ten years. There is no chance you will complete even onboarding without lagging, texture dropping, or stucking without a possibility to avoid a critical bug. Please do not buy this hell

    Truly the worst video game ever developed by humanity. Will dismantle your sanity from top to bottom! You thought Jedi Survivor had horrendous performance optimization? Gollum bests it in garbage at every turn with continuous frame rate drops from Lucifier's most malignant garden concocted. Unspeakably abysmal gameplay with the worst platforming of all time. Phasing through levels isTruly the worst video game ever developed by humanity. Will dismantle your sanity from top to bottom! You thought Jedi Survivor had horrendous performance optimization? To make a game this putrid takes serious effort and Daedalic Entertainment has truly gone the extra miles to make you LOATHE video games that ever resemble Lord Of The Rings again.

    There isn't a character that won't make you desire permanent blindness, with nonexistent art design or vision to back up this trash. Unspeakable controls which restrict movement and freedom at every turn. UI from the bottom of hell. Gollum is the worst offender of all, with a preschool garbage voiceover who is an utter disgrace to the legendary Andry Serkis in every POSSIBLE metric. But it gets even more abysmal, as Daedalic Entertainment actually thought giving Gollum an emo haircut that Chemical Romance would excrement their pants mocking for hours on end in front of a live audience of thousands. The game over screen will glitch you out of the game randomly.

    Gollum serves as a slave for carboard orcs with zero personality or soul, as if anything in this game was developed by people with souls. If you like an under 20 FPS garbage climbing simulator, pressing PS1 quality levers and utterly amateurish level designs that make Ride To Hell Retribution play like Tears Of The Kingdom, boy...do I have the video game for you!

    Of course LOTR Gollum has eye gouging microtransactions and lootboxes too! There isn't one element of good game design that LOTR Gollum doesn't desecrate and violate without apology, one single aspect of gameplay this garbage doesn't utterly **** up.

    I highly recommend as many people purchase LOTR Gollum as possible, for the sole purpose of a public burning of every copy and a Kickstarter to ensure Daedalic Entertainment is forbidden from ever developing another Lord Of The Rings game ever again.     This game is **** Mordor **** It was interesting when you substitute one orc to save one prisoner neighbor, and depending on the variability, you ask for bread every day or not.     Parece mentira tirar al traste un personaje tan bueno con este juego. El muñeco está mal hecho con ganas. El juego es una castaña total. No tiene ni pies ni cabeza. Comprar esto es tirar el dinero.

    Absolutely a chore to play. Characters has nothing in common with Tolkien's universe, except for names in some cases. Even worse: this game looks like 10 years old indie game, but requires top grade hardware even for 60 fps.

The idea was good but the execution resembles something I would have expected to see perhaps 15 years ago. NPCs were a bit boring and I've had a lot of issues with controlling of the character. The story was OK, I believe with better graphics, more side content and greatly improved variety of surrounding and performance, it would be a decent game. But in the current state I wish this game never happened and I do regret preordering it. They should have sold the idea to a company that was up to the challenge!… Expand

    Disaster, so manu bugs, so bad graphics I've tried to finish it just for the story, but game bugs stopped me on chapter 9. Waste of money.

    This game really captures what it is to be the actual character of Gollum. Sad, ugly and something nobody wants around. Congrats on this studio for creating a true Gollum experience by being worse than a literal pile of orc ****

    During development and before release of this game, I wonder how many developers, studio executives and game testers decided to overlook the obvious flaws in this game, “The lord of the rings: Gollum.” How many people gave it their stamp of approval. I feel betrayed as both a Lord of the Rings fan and a gamer in general. I wanted it to succeed before it released because of my positive past experiences with the Peter Jackson Movies and PS4 generation games, Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War.     The graphics, the animation, the UI, everything here looks like we've gone back a good 17 years. The technical state of the game is also bad, reminiscent of clinical death, making the game almost unplayable. [Issue#328]
