    For the price tag, this game brings nothing new to the table!! It was rebuilt from the ground up with no ray traced reflections or improved combat mechanics. I’m not sure what defines a remake but in 2022 I’m expecting RT as at least an option rather than the multiple 1440p game modes….. which still drop frames in certain areas of the game that were present in the original and the remasterFor the price tag, this game brings nothing new to the table!!     The accessibility features are a huge improvement for charging $70 just for those that need support to play the same games as everyone else is an insult, like putting a pay booth on a wheelchair ramp next to some stairs!! I’m not going to call it a cash grab as Naughty Dog are not a charity and gamers like me bought the most expensive version of the game but….. at the end of the day it’s still that original PlayStation 3 game with some improved character animations rebuilt on those original PlayStation 3 gameplay mechanics!

    If you’ve never played TLOU, get the remaster as it’s the same game but much cheaper but if you need these accessibility features or prefer haptics in the controller….. wait for the sales!!

    A lovely journey but with even more outstanding visuals. If you love this game, you're in for a treat. Although the price might be too much for you, so waiting for an off is not a bad decision.

    Image quality: Resolution priority (4k, 30Hz)
    Performance: Resolution and Frame Rate Balance I've tried both of them
    If it's performance mode, it's like Laoer's part 2.
    If I do it in resolution mode... Wow, this is awesome.

    Due to the mindless review bombs, I gave this game a 10. Metacritic should really have a verified purchases where you actually have to play the game to review it. This is THE definitive version to play the game, while the price is pretty steep, it beats the original in every single aspect. Anyone who says otherwise simply did not play it. The cold truth is that people don’t remember how clunky the original feels compared to this one or how outdated the visuals are especially when you compare it to the PS3 release. People also don’t understand how big of a deal that the cutscenes are actually running in real time and is not a pre rendered video. Every environment has been remade carefully from top to bottom, the shooting mechanics overhauled and identical to Part II, the melee combat feels much more weightier and I did spot a few new animations. Joel feels like an absolute Tank compared to Ellie and I feel like that was by design. If you’re a BIG fan of this game you should buy it, whether on sale or now, you will have an incredible time replaying this masterpiece. If it’s your first time experiencing this game you should get this version no question. If however you played this game before, enjoyed it for what it is and not so much of a fan of it, this remake simply isn’t for you.… Expand

Судя по тому, что я видел, игра совершенно не изменилась - и это хорошо, потому что та игра, что вышла в 2013 была великолепна. Тем, кто не играл - определенно советую. Но вот лично я, поскольку уже прошел первую версию игры обновленный вариант покупать бы не стал.     Having played the remaster many times over I knew what I was getting into story wise and content wise. That said, the extra work done with the accessibility features is phenomenal to allow others the chance to experience what is a phenomenal game. The biggest improvement for me is actually the audio.     برای یه ریمستر70دلار واقعا خیلیه و اونقدر بازی نسبت به نسخه اولیه خودش فرقی نکرده گرافیک که جهش آنچنانی نداشته و نسبت به قیمتش ارتقا انچانی نداشته و ارزش خرید نداره

    Yeah The price is quite expensive, but beeing objective this is the last of us, and for a person that has not played the game, this remake is the definitive experience of one of the greatest games of all time

This should’ve been $30-40 tops I can’t believe Sony has become this greedy that they need to charge $70 for a game that has been out for almost a decade. The game itself is great but there’s not much replay ability in my opinion and it comes with less content than the originalAsking for $70 for what is essentially a graphical and technical upgrade from the remaster is an absolute joke.     The best definitive version of the game, simple as that. The graphics, AI, animations and characters are realy well done. If you play TLOU1 and TLOU2 it will be amazing expecience.

    What an absolute masterpiece. This technical update is absolutly outstanding. This is the best way to discover this game. For the fans and the new ones, this game is worth to play, you can't say yourself as a gamer if you've don't touched it, so my advice is to try it and you'll love it, for several days after that you'll be shocked by this experience lived never before.     A lazy re-skin of an overrated game already, no gameplay improvements or any changes in the already outdated level design.the removal of the multiplayer mode is such a slap in the face of it's fans.if you want to re-experience the last of us.just play the remastered version for $10...this game is nothing but a cash grab.

    While I loved the last of us when it released for the PS3 and played the PS4 remaster where it still holds up to this day, The Remaster of the PS4 version for the PS5 is not worth the £70 price point!

    Toujours autant excellent, bravo aux équipe de naughty dog, je remercie les haters de faire de la pub pour ce chef d’œuvre , quand on passe du tlou 1 à ce REMAKE c’est clairement fou, les journalistes et les haters qui ont enlevé des points aufaite du prix dû jeux vous êtes juste des débiles de la société

    After playing TLOU2 that overtook the first one as my favourite game of all time. This re-make really improves on the visual and the gameplay of the first which had pulled it back into the top spot for me. The perfect story with near perfect gameplay and visuals. Couldn’t have asked for anything more

    TLOU Part 1 is an all-time masterpiece with a well-deserved graphics update. The game looks stunning.
    I agree that the price might be high, especially for the owners of previous game versions. But the enjoyment of playing my favorite game with such fantastic graphics justify the price for me.
    I just envy people who plays TLOU 1 for the first time with this new version.

    As much as we love the skeleton, the way it’s been built upon here feels like a missed opportunity. The chance to incorporate Part II’s stellar gameplay evolutions into the original heart-wrenching story was there; had Naughty Dog taken it, it could have been a game-changer. Instead, this feels like an obligatory reshoot. Yes, it’s visually stunning (one of PS5’s best), and yes, things have been changed. But the end result? Too familiar. Neat extras are here, like a speedrun mode, behind the scenes videos, and commentary tracks – but we’d hoped for something bolder. [Issue#19, p.74]

    The original The Last of Us will always be my favourite PlayStation game. The narrative is amazing, the relationship between Joel and Ellie is wholesome and it all culminates into a satisfying story that will bring tears to your eyes. However, I do not recommend the remake. Even though there are extensive graphical enhancements, 60FPS support, DualSense support and a variety of accessibility options, none of this justifies the admission price. And, above all, there was really no need for this remake, the original is perfect as it is and available on PS Plus. Skip it and wait for a fat discount if you are keen to try it.
