Ah! Não é apenas um simulador de gato.

It's a very cute game, the interactions are adorable. The scenarios are very pretty. It felt good to see the world through a cat's perspective.
It isn't a hard game to play and it's very short. I feel like it would be a nice idea to be able to walk the open world after you finish the game. It would also be great to have a map on the screen, it was boring to keep looking for places.

I can't believe I'm recommending a game where all you do is walk around as a cat and meow, but I am.

I didn't pay for it as it was on PS Plus for a while, so I was just able to play as part of my subscription, but I wouldn 't hesitant to play it on sale for 20-30 bucks. Respect to the devs for trying something new.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

    - Robot language/audio gets annoying (and illogical if humans created them). Would have been better if they spoke a number of real languages based on what a list of selections in settings - On top of the annoying voice audio, dialogue in general was dull that I wanted to skip through as fast as possible. In most cases, there was no value in striking conversations and you quickly regret it as you press buttons to speed it up - For $20-25 or under, it's highly worth it, but any higher, its hard to justify

This game is gorgeous on PS5 & fully takes advantage of the Dualsense controller in masterful ways. I love the dedicated meow button too, instant 10/10. Leaping around obstacles as a cat while causing some mischief here & there never got old. The level design is really something special, the sound design & soundtrack help add layers to it as well, I really loved the ambience of Stray’s OST. The game also tends to go into horror-lite places at times & it was honestly more effective than some of the actual horror games I’ve played recently! I didn’t expect a cat game to have an engaging story but we did get one with a lot of intrigue & lingering questions. I was invested in the characters even with the short time they got to shine.
The main downside to Stray is sadly the same complaint most people had with it, the short length is a real detriment. While there’s only so much you can do as a cat in a cat video game, I truly wouldn’t have minded a few more hours of doing whatever cats want to do, that’s how enjoyable the gameplay was to me. I really hope the developers take what they did right here & take some of the criticism to build a truly great sequel, if that’s possible. I have too many questions with the subtle story & a creeping need to play as a cat again.
Overall I‘ll be fondly reminiscing on my short time with the little Stray & their robot companions for a while to come.

Only issues I had: a few graphical issues here and there, somewhat excusable for a game with so many assets but did seem odd when they arose. Also, you can basically only jump when you get close enough to a ledge and see the on screen prompt to press the button. This made the game feel more restrictive than it should. That said, it is still a lot of fun to explore the world and see how far you can go.

The gameplay is the worst thing i have ever seen because it is just a walking simulator in some linear levels with rigid controls, in some moments of the game you will encounter some disappointing enemys that die almost instantly, that are slow and that deal almost no damage, in some other parts there will be some stealth parts that are colmpletely useless because you can just run away from the enemys even if they see you because they are the slower than a snail and their aim is awful.

The History is mediocre and you will not get any explaination for a lot of things that happens in the game.

The game is also short and full of bugs that can softlock you sometimes and you will need to restart a lot of times from the ceckpoint due to bugs.

The controls are limited and ugly ( you can only jump or move in specific places and not everywere) .

The world is closed, incredibly linear to the level that you can only move in specific places where you are intended to go.

The characters are not very well explained because you will stay only a few minutes with them, the only thing that made this crap so popular is the main character that is a cat that is literally useless because its only function is to carry the true main character that is the mini bot of the trailer, this because the only thing done by the cat is to speak with it and another problem with the cat is that it can talk and act like a **** human, so why in the hell is the main character a cat and not an human !?

the only positive thing of this game is the ambientation that is very good but that is not enough to make a good game.

In conclusion this game is a complete disaster and the only people who can enjoy it are no brain people that see a cat and think that it is cute while it is just a choice of marketing to make money with a trash game.

This game is truly unique and special. At first, I found it a bit weird and silly to play with a cat as the main character, but as I delved deeper, the emotions and experiences became unforgettable. Even the non-player characters (NPCs) left a lasting impression. The game is incredibly fun to play, with an engaging story and immersive atmosphere.

Games with linear progression can be boring. However, I could enjoy this game comfortably, because it has well-made puzzles and collectibles. Are you tired with repeated and boring Open World games? I recommend this game to you.

Even though the dialogue was text-based, the story was still interesting and I was very much invested until the emotional ending. Gameplay isn't perfect, but still well designed and well paced. If you are allergic to cats, hate mystery, exploration and a good atmosphere in video games, don’t play Stray. Otherwise, you’ve probably already beaten it. It’s a rare occasion to get a title such as this. And if it looks like something you might enjoy, that’s likely because you most surely would.

Stray makes the most of its choice of protagonist early on, really allowing you to do all the things a typical cat would do, though it eventually loses sight of that in favour of spotlighting the short story. That’s no cause for hissing, though it does leave the overall experience feeling somewhat like two kittens from different litters forced together. The combination works better than it should, but we’re ultimately left wondering what could’ve resulted if either half of the game had been given enough space to stand alone. [Issue#18, p.70]

It sounds ridiculous. And maybe it is. But the first ten minutes of Stray broke our heart. We’re a soft-boiled egg when it comes to animals, even when they're completely fictional. A cat who loses his friends and then gets hurt? Enough for an intense feeling of sadness and pity. It is not the challenge, but the experience that is key in this game. You really play Stray for the atmosphere. And that's exactly right.
