Oct 3, 2022Im all for a challenge and am completely ok with losing resources upon death, what is unacceptable is when you die to falling in water/abyss, they put them at the bottom of the hole almost every single time and its just garbage programing.

Jul 29, 2023Most horrible sidequest system in the history of video games. What kind of an idiot came up with this garbage. So much is bugged, cant finish quests can't pick up items etc etc

Mar 28, 2023Shockingly bad! As soon as i engaged 2 enemies at once, i knew i hated this game. Not much more to say other than that. biden has more stamina than the player character, look out!

Jan 14, 2023Man, the weapons feel so bad to use. I just finished Dark Souls 2, and all it’s dlc. It’s the worst souls game by far, and it still felt a lot better than this one. Developers should either stay in their own lane or make a good souls like. Until someone actually steps up to the plate with a genuinely good game, just stay away lol. I’m blown away by these positive reviews.

Oct 23, 2022Steelrising is a good soulslike game, with a very wide range of weapons, fun combat, and great exploration. However, it lacks in the technical aspect, which disappoints a little due to the lack of care and brings some graphical problems, frame drops and crashes.

Oct 20, 2022For a first foray into a new type of action game, Steelrising is an okay attempt. The skeleton of a good game is there, but all of its aspects need various levels of tweaking to get the recipe just right. Some things like combat just need a fine tune to be more reactive and smoother. Others like the level design need a firmer foundation to allow for more engaging and palatable exploration. It’s far from the worst game and won’t eat up too much time, but it’s not the most solid entry into the genre.

PLAYOct 15, 2022While lacklustre in some areas, Spiders leverages Steelrising’s daft premise for a 8 wonderful action adventure in a Paris steeped in history and robotics. [Issue#20, p.66]
