One of the most engaging and enjoyable JRPGs that have been released during this season. A really must-have game for fans of the genre. [Recommended]

Was on the fence until I got to play it first-hand. True successor to the original Soul Hackers. This being a devil summoner and not aWas on the fence until I got to play it first-hand. True successor to the original Soul Hackers. This being a devil summoner and not a mainline or persona game which everyone will compare to it. Devil Summoner has had solid advancements in making its on mark on Megaten series. This games adds a new fresh interface and new but enduring characters while being in a similar setting of Soul Hackers but tons of new approaches to the gameplay. For instance in soul hack 1 you picked and fused you demon party while in 1st person without seeing more than a icon sign when choosing a party members actions. This game takes that approach and makes it sparkle by adding animations for summoners and summons but as a successor it in fact let's you use actions as skills from demon equipped so its pretty similar to the original but goes for its on style from to pieces. Overall very engaging story with heartfelt voice acting in english. Yes I play in English because we have to support the effort of atlus localization. These are top tier voice actors from the small pull we have in the states. Thank you for reading my review. Full Review »

OK but repetitive game that doesn't offer anything new, a mix of SMT and Persona (a bit darker and less sociability than persona) but dungeonsOK but repetitive game that doesn't offer anything new, a mix of SMT and Persona (a bit darker and less sociability than persona) but dungeons way more boring, uninteresting and annoying characters with boring backgrounds (I can't stand Milady). Ok to play a few hours until you realize is the same over and over. They should had done a remaster/remake of Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1/2 instead of this. Full Review »
