    Honestly was the worst money I spent this year ! Very disappointing, had loads of potential but was lazily executed and was pretty average . Nothing new . It’s like a very cheap version of persona 5

    Soul hackers 2 world is well built and full of history and character but the way they execute it makes it feel bland and uninspiring the story of soul hackers 2 revolves around the saving humanity trope I know the usual but while others are able to make this work with different but important storylines till we get to that point this game makes the story pointless through while I did enjoySoul hackers 2 world is well built and full of history and character but the way they execute it makes it feel bland and uninspiring the story of soul hackers 2 revolves around the saving humanity trope I know the usual but while others are able to make this work with different but important storylines till we get to that point this game makes the story pointless through while I did enjoy it's characters and the world they live in is very sad to see this game was made with no polish at all dungeons are completely bland and so infuriating that we need to do the same stuff everytime while an optional dungeon like the soul matrix is a complete sore to get through I wonder if they where rushed to do this the game seems that it could be so much more but isn't hoping for a sequel so they can tap the true experience of being a summoner… Expand

    Man, I really wanted to like this one. A Persona inspired game? Heck ya, sign me up. But does it underdeliver in almost every way imaginable.

    OK but repetitive game that doesn't offer anything new, a mix of SMT and Persona (a bit darker and less sociability than persona) but dungeons way more boring, uninteresting and annoying characters with boring backgrounds (I can't stand Milady). Ok to play a few hours until you realize is the same over and over. They should had done a remaster/remake of Shin Megami Tensei: Digital DevilOK but repetitive game that doesn't offer anything new, a mix of SMT and Persona (a bit darker and less sociability than persona) but dungeons way more boring, uninteresting and annoying characters with boring backgrounds (I can't stand Milady). Ok to play a few hours until you realize is the same over and over. They should had done a remaster/remake of Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1/2 instead of this.… Expand

    It's not the best game of Atlus. It has to many problems in the order of design level, and the combat difficult it's not well balanced.

In terms of gameplay, we get familiar elements from the genre here and there, but the exciting and interesting battles go quickly from the hand.     I am satisfied with the sequel. Although the style is approximate, some game designs are still the same as before. The game combat system has also been improved very well. The music is very good. Generally speaking, I recommend it.

    Dissapointment. Grander and deeper worldbuilding would have done wonders for this game. gameplay is good but could be better it is not on par with smt5 or persona5.

    I wasn't expecting another Persona (although the trailer vibe resembles it) but rather something new derived from SMT. as the first game is very obscure and didn't age well.

    In the end, indeed it ia different but not in a brilliant way. The plot and characters are just average, the gameplay and battle system are too shallow and the few dungeons are boring, dull and uninspired.     If not for the interesting cast of characters and beautiful cyberpunk world, Soul Hackers 2 would truly be just a poor man’s Persona game. If you hate grinding in JRPGs, stay away from this one, but if you absolutely love fusing Personas … uh Demons until you find the perfect party, Soul Hackers 2 is quite serviceable in that aspect.

    An intriguing story, interesting battle system, and signature art style is usually a good combo, and Soul Hackers 2 is no exception. It is easy to get lost in the story or side-quests and enjoy battling a variety of demons. For anybody enjoying Atlus' other turn-based titles, this is definitely a must-have.

    Soul Hackers 2 is a surprising sequel. But another surprising thing is its accessibility and openness to the new players of the whole Shin Megami Tensei franchise. If this is to be your first one, it’s an excellent step to take.
