    This collection is great! Ignore the crybabies complaining about the price, S3&K soundtrack and bugs (There's no such thing as a glitch-free game). Pretty much every single Sonic fan are ungrateful and criticize Sega for rushing even though they themselves rush Sega as well. Get your sh--- together fanboys and stop being hypocrites to Sega!     This game was an extremely fun experience for someone who has never completed any of the original classic games before (me). Experiences may vary, but my experience with Sonic Origins left me extremely satisfied with a clean, polished experience of some of some really fun games.     It was very fun to play, and i enjoy the new animations a lot, i hope if they release another classic style game that they add animation cutscenes like this game

Lo del sonido no tiene nombre , es tal la comprensión de sonido del juego que con los auriculares parece MP3 super comprimido , nada que ver con Sonic mania o el original Sonic CD o megadrive cuando te ponías los cascos , una vergüenza lo bajo y comprimido que se oye .El juego no luce mal pero se notan las prisas , espero un parche para el sonido lo tengo también en swchit y pasa lo mismo , es vergonzoso lo del sonido.… Expand

    This is a great collection re release of 4 great games. The new features/additions of boss rush, mission modes, anniversary mode and the additional playable characters and museum all make it worth buying in my opinion even though I already own the original 4 games on their original consoles. My one and only disappointment is the reduced screen size if you want to play the classic versionsThis is a great collection re release of 4 great games.     The laziest thing i've seen, how could you justify 44$ for 4 games that are 3 decades old? There's no substancial upgrade besides the widescreen support, frame rate is the exact same as it used to be (60fps) if this at least was a remastered collection, it should've been like the Devil May Cry HD collection, wich not only made the games look and run better, but THEY ALSO made it 29$, wayThe laziest thing i've seen, how could you justify 44$ for 4 games that are 3 decades old?     Have been Much Better Collections in the past. This is a Horrible Cash Grab that has locked Content behind a pay wall from a Collection of only four 16Bit Sonic Games from the Genesis. Took the versions of the games Created by developer Christian Whitehead and didn't credit him but that maybe for the best. They took his work, removed features, made them buggy, and just destroyed themHave been Much Better Collections in the past.     By far the best way to play the games that sparked the beginning of a great franchise. From challenging, fun gameplay including missions. To great music that will keep you jamming out throughout the zones. Sonic Origins has it all!

    Es una buena forma de jugar a los juegos clásicos de Sonic y completamente remasterizados, las islas en 3D son muy bonitas, tiene una buena re-jugabilidad con el modo misiones, tiene una buena cantidad de contenido, como música o artes (incluso artes nunca antes vistos) y las cinemáticas animadas son impecables.
    Lo malo que le encontré es que son solamente 4 juegos en la colección y no    Es una buena forma de jugar a los juegos clásicos de Sonic y completamente remasterizados, las islas en 3D son muy bonitas, tiene una buena re-jugabilidad con el modo misiones, tiene una buena cantidad de contenido, como música o artes (incluso artes nunca antes vistos) y las cinemáticas animadas son impecables.

    I am a huge fan of the 2d sonic games. They don't get much love when compared against mario, and have a million re-releases and emulators out there that it feels like the last thing we need is another re-release, but I am so glad they did Sonic Origins.

    Sonic Origins is like the Final Cut of the 3d collection. widescreen instead of 4:3, character select screens, checkpoints and    I am a huge fan of the 2d sonic games. They don't get much love when compared against mario, and have a million re-releases and emulators out there that it feels like the last thing we need is another re-release, but I am so glad they did Sonic Origins.

    Sonic Origins is like the Final Cut of the 3d collection. widescreen instead of 4:3, character select screens, checkpoints and persistent saved. Unlimited lives to end the punishment of casual playing, and a new coin system, which is, if you ignore the museum unlocks which are pretty much pointless, are a great system to allow replaying of chaos emerald bonus levels.

    The launch price was obviously a bit much for such old games, but it went to half price sale very quickly, and will continue to drop in price.

    This is the version of the original sonic games I'll be coming back to whenever I have a sonic itch. My only wish was that there was was a way to get this on the PSP, but least it's on the Switch.    … Expand

Given how S1, S2, & even SCD are able to be gotten on more platforms, S3K is the big draw - I'm not terribly salty over the Carnival Night, Ice Cap, & Launch Base Zones' original cartridge release music missing, as MJ's estate probably wantedIt's great to finally be able to play all these games, particularly Sonic 3 & Knuckles, on a big screen that isn't a computer monitor or old console. The future of the franchise remains typically unclear – based on what we’ve seen of Sonic Frontiers so far, it could honestly go either way – but Sonic Origins reminds us that nothing will ever be able to diminish its past. When Sonic was good, it was better than almost anything else out there, and this collection celebrates those glory days in the best way possible.    … Expand

    Really great collection that the developers clearly put a lot of love into. It's just a shame SEGA rushed it, mainly with the PC version. Is this collection a little overpriced? Kinda. But it has a great presentation with a lot of content to go through with AMAZING new animated cutscenes made by the legend himself Tyson Hesse. My only problem with this collection is they had an extremelyReally great collection that the developers clearly put a lot of love into. It's just a shame SEGA rushed it, mainly with the PC version. Is this collection a little overpriced? Kinda. But it has a great presentation with a lot of content to go through with AMAZING new animated cutscenes made by the legend himself Tyson Hesse. My only problem with this collection is they had an extremely missed opportunity to include Amy as a playable character and Knuckles playable in Sonic CD. Also the drop dash is kinda awkward and it's an odd choice to not have lives in Anniversary mode. Other than that though, I would still buy this and even if you don't think it's worth the price now, that's okay. If you want to buy it now though, PLEASE don't get the deluxe edition like I did. There really isn't that much benefit getting that over the normal version.

    Let's hope Sonic Frontiers is amazing too, if that happens, we truly are in the Sonic renaissance. Sonic needs it.    … Expand

While s3k had some changes that can be seen as a step down , I don’t mind it that much and I’m a long time fan of the series , sonic 1, cd , and 2 are basically the same with additions such as the drop dash spin dash in s1 etc , this collection overall is fun and good but I would like to see and update that touches up on some stuff of the game… Expand

    It gave me pleasure to play classic Sonic games, in my opinion this is a very good remaster of the games that have remained in our hearts. And I hope that Sonic Frontiers will come out with the same quality game

    A near perfect collection of the first four Sonic games, which can be played in remastered or classic mode. It also includes a lot of other modes like missions, boss rush and mirror modes.

    Great conversions wrapped up in a ‘basic at best, annoying at worst’ wrapper. The core games are still top-tier, but the package lacks the Mania love. [Issue#17, p.91]

    An unfortunate collection of great games. The individual Sonic titles are fine, as fun as they always have been throughout the years. The collection in itself doesn’t really add anything, however, and is really pricey for what it offers.
