Decent gameplay but not a lot else to it. Pretty cool idea but I didn't love this one.

Really interesting game!! I love it. Recommend to try it. It's especially cool to play with your friends. Many people from different countries with whom it is pleasant to speak in English.

It's like Overwatch for the PS5 with 4k graphics, 120 fps, a super fun UI and many heroes. I love that all players can ADS with their weapons and you get to buy everything or upgrade your weaponry. Great game!

A game that never got the attention it deserved.

I see many games out there, hyping for no reason, most disappointing, and sadly Rogue Company falls on a weird spot where it has a playerbase but none of my friends even know abuot it. I call it the "Playstation Valorant" and I never played Valorant to be honest. The game is extremely smooth, animations are all on point. Progression is

I call it the "Playstation Valorant" and I never played Valorant to be honest. The game is extremely smooth, animations are all on point. Progression is not fast, which is good, it gives you time to get good before releasing you into the big boys.

Customization is not hard to unlock. Everything is user friendly, and casual friendly (my case). Most items can be obtained without purchasing any currency. They balanced the microtransaction aspect very well.

Maps are not very large, which is good, casually playing a map a few times is enough to learn it Graphics are simple, have very high quality and well achieved for the game's intended environment.

Some people call it a Fortnite wannabe because of the graphics, but we're talking about a game that does not have even have a Battle Royale mode.

It's free, it's there, and I reccoment anyone to keep it installed, it's a small game, sometimes when you're in the limbo and don't know what to play, just click Rogue Company.

This free to play game offers a few different options in terms of game play, but it wins the excellent array of characters, snappy gun fights and fun factor. There are some characters that need a little tightening on the balance but get 8 people ready to battle it out and the game is a blast. The development team needs to look in to a better way of ensuring teams are balanced and that people don't leave the game early. Fix those issues and this game is well ahead of some of the other hype train games out there. As it is right now, this game is far above average and well worth the free download to try out. Fix character balance and players quitting and this game is a solid 10. Expand

This seems to be decent game and for free to play! But I have heard mixed reviews, negative ones mostly come from people who complain about bugs and connectivity, as well as the broken ranked XP system who AFK and get bonuses. Community on reddit is kind of all over the place too.
During the play I noticed how nobody uses mic and nobody really helps when played solo :(
    But the game

But the game itself is fun and well made. It can be both casual and pro competitive.

    Fun game, awful servers.

I had two good connection matches on a new account, and the rest have lagged or dropped people.

This is unacceptable for epic's server architecture.

Rogue Company is a f2p 3rd person shooter that takes the basic gameplay ideas of Counterstrike and throws all the modern trends in shooters into it. You have distinct characters instead of classes, it's 3rd person (probably so you can see your skins in action), has you drop into the map like Apex Legends etc.

And for a f2p game I think it's pretty decent. There is a native PS5 version

And for a f2p game I think it's pretty decent. There is a native PS5 version with support for 120fps and gyro aiming, there is an active playerbase, regular content updates and the core gameplay is rather solid.

Is it the most original or innovative game? Nah, not really. Does it have bugs, yep definitely. And also leavers are still an issue if you play with rando's, often leaving you fighting 3v4 if you don't forfeight the match.

In the end it's the same complaints as always with games developed by Hi-Rez: they make a f2p version of stuff that's already out there which is usually pretty fun to play but also fairly buggy. So, if you are looking for f2p shooters and are sick of Battle Royales like Warzone this might be a good game to pick up and just play for a while.

Rogue Company is one of the very few competitive shooters that immidiatelly managed to click with me . It's gunplay , Movement , Pacing , TTK's , Slightly more tactical approach and it's third person perspective were all right up my alley . It also helped that I found the cyberpunk-ish world and characters appealing to the eye but that's pretty much the end of my positivity

    For starters
Rogue Company is one of the very few competitive shooters that immidiatelly managed to click with me . It also helped that I found the cyberpunk-ish world and characters appealing to the eye but that's pretty much the end of my positivity

For starters the netcode is abhorent . Constant connectivity issues and latency issues galore . Sometimes the match will run like butter and it will feel just right and other times 1/4 of your bullets will refuse to register . After all there is a reason why they don't allow you to see anyone's ping

The matchmaking is also terrible as it calculates the MMR of the team as a whole and not on an individual basis to make queue's faster . This creates extremely uneven teams where one to two players often have to do all the hard work which gets old fast and makes any mode aside from TDM practically unplayable unless you have at least 2 friends with you

Speaking of unplayable Rogue Company died for me the moment they gave in and decided to force crossplay with PC players . Gotta love on top of dealing with the crappy servers to being forced to pre-fire around corners to make the firefight somewhat even in timing and if that wasn't enough many PC players are obviously wall hacking (They use info characters to masquarade the fact that they're doing it too) and using subtle aimbots because the game is a cheaters wetdream due to the nonexistent anti-cheat and pointless report system

The balancing is also in a terrible state and every design choice they've made on characters , Weapons or maps since it's inception has been one step forward and two back . They buff and nerf things at seemingly random because they don't play their own game and generally speaking ever since TDM (Even if it's the only mode that doesn't suck balls nowadays) Armor and weapon mastery were introduced it all went to sh*t

There are other things they've tried to pull only to get backlash like refusing to fix reputation challenges or purposefully making them ridiculous to force you into buying characters , Calling the forced crossplay with PC a "bug" when it was clearly a desperation move to save the game on PC (Like always) or focusing on pointless crap like the random as hell collaboration with The Walking Dead comic , Removing TDM for no reason when it was their most played mode and buffing/nerfing female asses when known bugs that have existed for years were never addressed

It's hard to defend a game that it's own development/publisher team abandoned the moment they realized it wouldn't be the cash cow they hoped for . The writing was on the wall very early on when Hi-Rez prioritized sucking up to cringe streamers (Who all took the easy money and bounced like thieves in the night) instead of fixing their own game . Like many of Hi-Rez's products Rogue Company was a get rich quick by cashing on a trend scheme but the sad part is that this one actually had potential

Used to be a really good game. But the season pass system, which is overpriced and lacks value, along with server issues, unbalanced gameplay, lack of proper implementation of punishments for rule breaking, makes it a horrible experience. A truly bad experience, where players just randomly leave, toxic teammates, glitches and no penalties for harassment etc.

So many cheaters. Developers do not even fight them, not paying attention to the problem.
