    This is the best VR experience of my life. My sole regret was to finish the game before the VR mode was released. This is gold!

    Who in the right mind writes a negative review after playing this game? Someone who can't afford a PSVR 2 headset and likes to be mean to people who love Sony.

    One of the most remarkable experiences I've ever had on a home console! And word is now from Capcom we will be getting the same complete VR treatment for the RE4 remake later this year!     My God, they finally did it, they brought a modern VR experience to home console. I can not over emphasize enough how different it is to play this game in first person. I am a hardcore gamer, nothing typically scares me on a flat screen. I have played this game in its entirety before and I have found myself leaping up in sheer terror at parts in this game.     It becomes a completely different experience at this level, this is PC level VR on a home console. It elevates the whole thing and a surprising number of new mechanics become part of the game as it made its switch to VR.

    Now we are getting reports that the new RE4 remake will have a free VR update for us as well.

    To put a fine point on this, I found the RE4 VR game for the Quest 2 novel and unique. I found RE Village for PSVR 2 to be an actual game up to the standards of this age, and capable of taking us places modern gaming normally can not go. Extremely excited to see other games of this quality hit the PS5 library but until then I will be enjoying this game for many months to come!    … Expand

    This VR version is a masterpiece, 100 times better than the flat version!! Everything is so great and it is really beautiful. People who wrote negative reviews simply didn't play the game or are raging because they cannot afford a PSVR2, what a shame...

    Masterpiece so much better than flat og version, one of the best gaming experiences ever witnessed. Then gunplay is so realistic and fun. Grqphics are so detailed and lifelike. Its the future.

    First time ever owning a VR system and playing this for only about 4 hours at this point. It’s such a cool immersive experience. Nothing gets the blood pumping more than being chased and firing your gun, it’s so realistic! I wish there was more interaction with items in the game but that’s about it.

    Impresionante gráficamente y ambientación pero se nota que no fue ideado para la VR. Poca interacción con objetos y escenario. Seré un inútil pero me cuesta habituarme a los controles manuales de las armas, es mi primera experiencia en VR.

    This is my first VR experience. Don't played the game before and just watched some gameplay of it but in VR it just feels like you ARE REALLY in the game. This game have so many interactive VR mechanics and I love Campcom that they make the complete game available in VR.
    The only issues i had so far is that some objects don't have the right scale and not every object is interactable but    This is my first VR experience.     The only issues i had so far is that some objects don't have the right scale and not every object is interactable but this is something I can live with and is probably the compromise you have to take when you port a flat game directly to VR. Other than that, i get a bit motion sick but that is something experience player probably don't have to worry about and I will get over it.
    I never played Half Life Alyx but i think this might be on the same level.    … Expand

    Memorable experience! Some caveats with the PSVR2 display especially on darker areas but VR is beautifully implemented.

    Thought it was great when it was on a TV. In VR, it's the ultimate experience. From reloading, firing off headshots, body positioning, to knife throwing, turning keys in drawers, panicking when you see awful creatures (lookin' at you baby), the awesome audio. It's the number one reason to buy PSVR2.

    This is top notch vr! The graphics are near perfect with a slight blur to things outside. Other than that I don't know what else one could complain about. If you don't like the base game then I understand, but other than that I think it's right up there with Half Life Alyx.

    just awesome, a must have for all VR player user who can handle that kind of horror. But even if it can be scary for some users try it, it is exactly what we want for the psvr 2. nothing less

    Just finished the game, WOW, I have 8 years of VR experience, this game is one, if not the best VR game ever, if its came to gameplay emotions and graphics.

    J'avais déjà fini le jeu dans sa version TV sur Series X et ce n'était clairement pas mon Resident Evil préféré (le 7 étant largement meilleur pour moi). La 1ère moitié du jeu est excellente, principalement le château et la maison des poupées. La 2ème moitié du jeu est ensuite très décevante...

    Quoiqu'il en soit, j'ai refait l'aventure cette fois ci sur PSVR2 car RE7 en VR (que j'avais    J'avais déjà fini le jeu dans sa version TV sur Series X et ce n'était clairement pas mon Resident Evil préféré (le 7 étant largement meilleur pour moi).     Quoiqu'il en soit, j'ai refait l'aventure cette fois ci sur PSVR2 car RE7 en VR (que j'avais fini sur PSVR1) était une tuerie. Ce 8ème opus montre tout son potentiel en VR et j'ai vraiment redécouvert le jeu. C'est une véritable démo technique de ce que peut faire le PSVR2. C'est magnifique et on reste scotché devant le gigantisme des décors. En plus ils ont adapté le gameplay à la perfection avec une vraie ergonomie des armes et leur maniement. Un must.

    Mon seul reproche, la transition avec certaines séquences cinématiques en mode "cinéma" qu'ils auraient pu éviter. Ca casse l'immersion et ils auraient pu faire autrement. Pour le reste, foncez, le jeu en VR est largement meilleur que son homologue TV    … Expand

Village has a great story, characters, environments etc. I love the different diverse locations and antagonists you encounter through your journey of the game with the engaging story. Playing Village in VR on the amazing PSVR2 is such a engaging amazing immersive experience like no other, playing the game in VR on the PSVR2 isFirst time playing RE Village was on the PSVR2 and i loved it. Village has a great story, characters, environments etc. I love the different diverse locations and antagonists you encounter through your journey of the game with the engaging story. Playing Village in VR on the amazing PSVR2 is such a engaging amazing immersive experience like no other, playing the game in VR on the PSVR2 is the best way to experience Village and only way i want to experience the game.

    With this big update, Resident Evil Village is easily one of the spearheads of the PSVR 2. An essential experience for horror and ultra immersive game lovers. Capcom has done a masterful job and has taken advantage of the opportunity to offer new gameplay that is entirely optimised for Sony's headset. And the result is striking. Despite its few flaws, Village takes advantage of VR to give itself a new lease on life. Even the most reluctant players, who didn't find the original game impressive, will be taken on board in this nightmarish adventure. Some sequences are more gripping than ever. In short, with the PSVR 2, Resident Evil Village is more than ever an essential.

    Resident Evil Village VR is a must-have title for anyone taking the plunge on PSVR2. It's still the same RE8 we know, and love but with the tension turned up to 11. In short, it's the best way to play one of 2021's best games.
