PLAYNov 30, 2022It’s hard to ignore this spin-off’s squandered potential – or the deafening silence of Midgard. While we have great fun mixing and matching a wealth of combat options, we can’t recommend it based on that single verse when this game boasts an epic poem’s price tag. [Issue#21, p.83]

Oct 6, 2022By combing the best elements of boomer shooters of the past, the frantic action of DOOM, the rugged look and feel of Quake, and the arena shooter layout of Unreal Tournament, Bounding Box software has crafted a fun shooter that harkens back to the old days while still feeling fresh. While the noticeable drawbacks I mentioned keep it from achieving true greatness, I cannot recommend this game enough to anyone who wants to revisit the times when shooters could just be fun.

Oct 5, 2022There's no denying that Prodeus is derivative, but that's not necessarily a problem when the end result is this well realised. An absolute blast from start to finish.
