For those who enjoy an old skool FPS and want a great time, this can’t be recommended highly enough. Bounding Box have nailed that run & gun feeling with excellent graphic & audio presentation throughout, accompanied by a cathartic soundtrack which propels you through an excellent campaign full of well-designed set pieces. This features some of the best gameplay since DOOM(2016) and for an indie title, that is high praise. Get it played.

The gameplay is amazing and diverse, with so many weapons to choose from, including a Super Shotgun that has not 2 barrels, not 3, but 4 BARRELS, because yes. The secrets are well hidden, and the hunt for Ores keeps players on the constant lookout. After every mission the game lets you rate the map so the developers know what kinds of levels people do or don't like, but strangely enough, all the maps are detailed and fun to play, so I find it easy to rate every map highly. Alongside the campaign, Prodeus also includes a built in level editor, something that I personally have only seen in Doom 2016 and Far Cry 2, so it was extremely surprising, but more than welcome, to see that Prodeus came with one as well. This game is quickly becoming one of my favourite first person shooters ever, and even one of my favourite games in general, it's well-crafted and interesting. Expand

The amazing enemy sprite work makes blowing everything apart 3x more satisfying. You CAN turn them into 3d models, but only someone who really hates themselves would do that... Makes me wish Quake had the same option. Seriously, I'm on level 22 now and there hasn't been a single level that I didn't rate as "good". (You can rate every level as good or bad after you win). It pulls off what it's trying to do flawlessly. I f***ING love this game.

    Ultra juicy. Would bang.
