Aug 21, 2023Decent enough, but basically the same as 2k21. Worth a few rounds once you get used to the timing of the swing, which you can make easier but I think this takes the fun out of it. Graphics on PS4 are same as 2k21 on PS4. Some of the commentary is also re-used. Some unusual glitches. But overall, a decent golf sim if you like that stuff.

Apr 5, 2023Triple A price tag for $20 worth of content. Gameplay mechanica are great. Player and equipment customization is very lacking. Sponsors system is broken and needs reworked.

Jan 3, 2023In the end, PGA Tour 2K23 is far from perfect, but also much closer than anyone could have expected. With EA Sports re-entering the video golf scene next year, I have high hopes that fresh competition and a little fine-tuning will encourage 2K to deliver a resurgence of excitement to golf game enthusiasts in the years to come.

Nov 8, 2022PGA Tour 2K23 takes an already excellent golfing simulator and builds upon it, making it better and more fleshed out by adding things that were sorely needed. We’re still waiting for properly glamourous careers and tournaments but the gameplay itself will spellbind every golf fan.

Nov 8, 2022I’ve missed having a good golf sim and PGA Tour 2K23 is indeed a good golf sim, part of me would have like a skip button as well/instead of the speed up button so that you could get straight to your next shot rather than having to watch your shot from start to finish… but that’s nit picking and not essential. Once you get over the initial hurdle of getting used to the controls it starts to become a more relaxing experience… but not so calm that you won’t find yourself occasionally shanking your shot into the water or slicing into a bunker. Ultimately though it’s a fun way to spend some time in virtual nature.
