May 7, 2022Nobody Saves the World is not a masterpiece, but its simplicity manages to easily win you over - even with some small flaws, such as repetition and a bit tiresome exploration.

PLAYMay 3, 2022Drinkbox’s wonderfully daft action RPG is supported by smart systems that ensure you keep mixing characters and abilities while exploring its colourful world. [Issue#14, p.90]

Apr 28, 2022I had a lot of fun playing through the game, and exploring all the different locations around the world. The story was interesting, especially the main character being such a blank slate. It took me a few hours to get used to the combat style, and I will admit I got lost a few times during the story. But that was fine because I got to do some dungeons, explored the world and got buffs before falling back into doing the main questline.

May 28, 2022Evil Dead: The Game is an authentic and passionate recreation of a chaotic, violent, and wildly slapstick classic. Though plaudits are deserved for the title’s atmosphere and fan-pleasing references, a litany of technical hiccups, unstable mechanics, and odd design choices frequently hinder this promising release. In time, Evil Dead can become something very special. But as it stands, it still delivers a fistful of fun for its ravenous fanbase. Shop Smart.

Apr 14, 2022Nobody Saves the World is a fun time with a great transformation mechanic. You're constantly making progress, with bars going up and things unlocking but as enjoyable as that can be it does get repetitive. Two player co-op is nice but some other gameplay wrinkles could have really helped to distract from what is ultimately a to-do list.

Apr 14, 2022Unfortunately, Nobody Saves the World is around 15 hours in length, stretching its gameplay tightly over its duration to the eventual distortion of both. Is it a bad game? God, no. Most titles don't even have two hours of worthwhile stuff to do. This is an original idea attached to traditional adventuring fun with all the customisation that comes along with its genre here given a renewed focus. We only wish its dungeons were as well-crafted as its skill trees and visuals, but while there's not enough meat on the bone, what's here is still pretty delicious while it lasts.
