Game of the year? Yessss. Zozanzazu? Well, maybe... In this game you have the world to Justify, it's then you should. In short, I think you should give this masterpiece sculpted by the great manufacturers of JOHn a chance.

15-20 hours playtime. Art style and the abilities of the protagonist make this game great. Transforming into different characters and combining those with the abilities of other characters was the biggest fun. Music was okay to good. Difficulty low to medium. There is an NG+ but barely a reason to enter it.
The story was as basic as the title of the game suggests.

The story was as basic as the title of the game suggests.

The majority of dungeons were just: enter, look for key or staircase; kill enemies while doing so, kill boss at the end. When I refer to boss...I pretty much just mean the waves of enemies spawning in. Was a bit disappointing. There were no real bosses at all. Rather hack & slash through whatever came in your way.

Most NPC were pretty much one straight line in their character sheet. Just because your protagonist is called nobody you don't have to make every character feel like they are nobody. Nothing special about them but one.

Great game, art style is fun. Story is OK for this type of game. Must have for local co-op with your GF. Highly recommended if you looking for local co-op not too complex, simple gameplay and with action but not sure I'd play solo. Rated highly for local co-op experience.

Evil Dead: The Game is an authentic and passionate recreation of a chaotic, violent, and wildly slapstick classic. Though plaudits are deserved for the title’s atmosphere and fan-pleasing references, a litany of technical hiccups, unstable mechanics, and odd design choices frequently hinder this promising release. In time, Evil Dead can become something very special. But as it stands, it still delivers a fistful of fun for its ravenous fanbase. Shop Smart.

Nobody Saves the World is not a masterpiece, but its simplicity manages to easily win you over - even with some small flaws, such as repetition and a bit tiresome exploration.

Drinkbox’s wonderfully daft action RPG is supported by smart systems that ensure you keep mixing characters and abilities while exploring its colourful world. [Issue#14, p.90]
