Besides, there are no positive points, everything is bad as for the value of 50 dollars, even with those 50 dollars you can buy Super Smash Bros Ultimate or a premiere game from other higher quality consoles. I'm going easy on this game because it has Toph, but honestly a Nick game with no Jenny Wakeman (XJ9) from Mlaatr should not exist. When I was a little kid I watched My Life as a Teenage Robot for the first time, and just seeing the robotic beauty of that prime exemplar made me go absolutely crazy, like literally I still have to go to the Schizophrenia Warden twice a week. Ps: If you want a 10 add Mymy from Ongezellig

I gave this game 15 minutes before turning it off. It has nothing to offer. No unlockables, no story mode, boring online and just an overall lack of content. And WORST OF ALL NO VOICE ACTING?!?!? Makes the entire experience hollow and 'cash-grabby'. I grew up with most of these characters, so to have zero voice acting... it's utterly pathetic and misses the nostalgia factor that could have catapulted it into greatness (but there is too much holding it back for that to happen).

Gameplay is fine, it's just a Smash Clone with faster movement.

Rather install 'Fightcade'- it's a free emulator that lets you play literally any arcade (MAME) fighting game against others, with great rollback netcode.

The game is very disappointing. I love Spongebob and Patrick. But in the game I don't feel like I'm really playing them. The lack of dubbing just makes the game feel unbelievable and artificial.
The scope of the game is a bad joke. The arcade mode simply strings together fight after fight, and the sports mode is a poor copy of the soccer game from Rayman Legends. I haven't played the game

Complete rip-off of Smash Melee. They took everything you love about smash and add your **** Nickelodeon twist. The games animation are trash hit boxes are jank this game is completely unbalanced and it’s not worth 50 dollars. I can promise you this was a low budget cash grab. Save your money.

This game has no voice acting. The lack of voice acting makes the game feel like a Super Smash Bros game with Nickelodeon mods. They could have at least used some voices from old episodes of Nickelodeon shows, but the developers were too greedy for that. Despite the lack of voice acting, there are only 20 characters. The graphics are garbage. The animations are pathetic. The soundtrack is beyond horrible. The stages are poorly designed. The physics are trash. The combat in this game is boring and repetitive. When I pay $50, I expect a combat system with depth and detail. All the developers did in this game is put pretty colorful lights during every move, to give players the illusion that the game is fun. None of that is fun for me. There isn't even a story mode. The developers were too cheap and lazy to develop one.

There is multiplayer and offline couch play. I appreciate that but this doesn't change the trash quality of this game. I expect better quality at $50. Spongebob has a cringeworthy face on the cover of this game. This made me remove the cover paper off the game case and rip it into pieces. I don't recommend this game at all.

This game had so much potential to be a great multiplayer brawl game. Sadly it's main draw for people is the joy found in the nostalgia of the characters and shows, something that is completely missing from the game. And let's be honest the game play itself is fairly mediocre, not enough moves and a limited character lineup make it fairly standard as a game, the inclusion of decent sound design would have easily hidden its flaws quite well. and we all know the developers will try and sell you the multitude of missing characters as DLC at a later date.Unfortunately for them selling more mute characters to add to the lineup will be very difficult at this point. The developers obviously have a choice to make. either sort out the appropriate licensing for voices and music (something that should have been at the top of the list from the start) which will make adding maps and characters as paid DLC far more lucrative. Or, leave the game as it is and watch it fade into obscurity like so many other games before it. Expand

First of all, out of the gate I have to throw this out there. The game is highly over-rated and without the Nickelodeon License no one would've ever willfully bought it, and that's how I review it based on what the core game and the presentation gives you.

I appreciate how the devs tried to show their enthusiasm of brawl games and they tried to make a compelling combat system, but it's not very great, almost mashy and wacky. there is almost no whiff recovery on many moves and you can just freely jump around and land while throwing stuff out.
Most animation are good but that's it, no any unique throws and it lacks characters actually showcasing their special powers, instead they resort to simple melee combat like punching and kicking.
The best thing about the game is rollback Netcode and for that I give the game more than I wanted.
Now for the things that make this game super forgettable and undeserving of the score it currently has.
Sound - No voice acting, awful soundtrack, generic hit sounds. meaning that overall the game got nothing to deliver when it comes to sound.
Presentation - cheap looking menus, characters look ok but there is no any alternate costumes or unlockables. The stages are also super underwhelming.
Game modes and tweaks - here you pretty much got nothing other than the standard vs modes.
no special modes, no story mode, no nothing else.

    Final score:
    Sound: 0 out of 3
    Presentation:0 out of 3
    Gameplay:2 out of 4

    I give it a 3 out of 10

This is one of the worst Super SmasH Brother wannabes I think i've ever witnessed. The controls are janky and the move sets are quite horrible. You can tell they threw this together really quick for nostalgic purposes.

The graphics are one of the highlights though, I was impressed in that field.

Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. 0 updates that help the game. No voice acting so it feels incredibly dead.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is, well, fine. It will provide a good few hours of harmless fun and raise more than a few smiles in the nostalgia sector of the cortex as Reptar beats on April O'Neil. Underneath that initial sheen however is nothing of real interest. Thankfully, support seems to be very much active and maybe the initial issues will be focused on to provide a more well-rounded, in-depth experience. For now, though, the shadow of its inspiration looms heavy and ensures that this will not be challenging for any place in the top tier of party'esque fighters for some time.

There's a good skeleton to Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl. The fighting is fast and extremely deep, despite having only one more attack button over the Super Smash Bros. series. For pro-type players who always play without items and can quickly master the game's nuances, this is excellent. However, the presentation is as basic as the game's modes, and the lack of anything that provides more of a Nickelodeon "feel" (e.g., voices and music) makes the whole thing feel rather cheap. While the online performance can be good, it doesn't matter much if there's no community behind it. The game is a contender, but some serious effort in more than a few areas needs to be done if Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl or a potential sequel wants to be taken more seriously.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is the most disappointing kind of game as it’s one that offers so much promise and then fails to deliver on it, even when it comes to the most obvious, low-hanging fruit.
