    NBA 2K22 is less a video game and more an advertisement for the sport. The controls are obtuse and unresponsive, slowdown is constant, the story is bland, and it’s simply not fun to play.

    NBA 2K22 is once again a step forward in gameplay and realism, but it's also a step back in everything else. Microtransactions are as aggressive as ever, advertisements and promotions are as invasive as ever, bugs are as common as ever in The City and, overall, it seems that Visual Concepts is doing some things knowing that there are no competitors in the basketball games genre.

    I really really had my hopes up for this year's 2k but I've been disappointed yet again.. This is getting so f*cking annoying, I had zero fun playing a game where everyone tried to do the sweatiest animations they could possibly find from youtube while I was just not being rewarded for playing smart basket ball.     Somehow 2k is so genius that they come up with a fking ridiculous dunk meter which is even narrower then any shot meter.
