Sep 8, 2023A good game, not great as MHW.
Gameplay: GOOD
Graphic: GOOD
Story: OK
Music/Sound : GREAT
Dialogue/Voice Acting: GREAT -
Sep 4, 2023The tutorials might be the worst I've ever seen, I think it's like reading a novel that states the obvious, yet doesnt explain things that should clearly be explained. The combat feels weird cus you cant lock on at all. The first couple hours in this game is a very poor introduction. Ok it's cute. But is that enough???

Aug 23, 2023People are insane, voting too low because they are frustrated but this is BY FAR the easiest mh game ever, and as always it's well done with litteraly hundreds of hours of gameplay, smooth and fast in loadings. Not the best mh but close enough

Aug 14, 2023200+hours and still unlocking things (with expansion) good simple fun
Now learning the menus is like a degree course lol
So rewarding once you know those well. -
Aug 8, 2023The PS5 version of MHRise ramps up an already good experience from switch all the way up to 11.
Better framerate, all base title updates on launch, no online gameplay issues. -
Jun 25, 2023This game has a very good combat game play, but sometime the control is very bad. In my opinion, the graphics is worse than MONSTER HUNTER WORLD, it's look dirty and kinda old, I don't know how. But it's still a good game, worth to try.

Jun 19, 2023Overall gameplay has gotten faster in good and bad, I don't like the use of wire bugs to get out of situations but the traversal and new weapon mechanics are good. The monster roster feels a little boring to me in low rank but it steps up in master rank/high rank.

May 3, 2023If you liked Monster Hunter World, you’ll love this. PS5 version especially has very short load times, 4K and super smooth 60fps. It has tons of content especially with the new expansion. The game is so good you owe it to yourself to play it.

May 3, 2023This game is very difficult, hence the reviews. There is nothing wrong with the game it is simply extremely difficult. The graphics are great, ignore the chud reviews.

Mar 6, 2023I have more than 100hours in MHworld. I didnot expect MHR to be better. Was afraid it was like MHW with lower graphics. But it is not. It is a better game overall. Even if maps are less good-looking compared to MHW, this is absolutely not the case of monsters, They are even better overall imo. Everything runs smooth at 60fps. And there are great additions to core gameplay. I recommend

Feb 21, 2023Yes. It is a switch port. So graphics are just ok and expected.
But the game feels slow and unresponsive. And the UI is HUGE! It takes way too much of the screen and needs a scaling features so that you can see the UI but not be dominated by it. The endless chat boxes are annoying. The chat boxes and UI kill it for me. -

Feb 10, 2023It's a pretty fun game. It's great to go hunt different monsters. My only complaint is that the game is too easy in the beginning.

Feb 6, 2023People whining the game is too hard and won't even do research LOL. Cracks me up.
How about learn the game and then give an honest review.
With that said however, this does feel like a major downgrade compared to World. The coop aspects suck in this one. Just nowhere near the same fun level at all. They should never force you to do a story mode in these kind of games in Single player only... -

Jan 25, 2023Game is fantastic for monster hunter lover. Looks like a downgrade(graphic and some mechanics duo to port) but in general is more of everything what you need. I spent a lot of hours on MHW and I will repeat on this one aswell.

Jan 31, 2023Jugarlo a 120 fps es una chulada no disfrute este juego por que en switch se veía horrible pero aquí es fluido, lo malo que el multiplayer sigue aceptando 4 por sala y no tuvo mejora gráfica

Jan 30, 2023I have been a fan of the Monster Hunter series since 3DS. I loved MH World, but this one even though with worse textures because it is a port from Switch, It made some changes that make gameplay a lot better like the Wirebugs and the Palamutes. I'm really loving it and recommend it if you are a fan of this type of games.

Jan 29, 2023Graphics aren't great. Gameplay is meh. Not as good as the last one. This one doesn't pass for me.

Feb 21, 2023Suppose you were very patient and hoped that Monster Hunter Rise would come out on PS5. Guess what, congratulations. In that case, you will have a very worthy version of an entertaining video game that, until now, could only be enjoyed on two different power platforms. The battles against the enormous monsters, the duels to defend your village, and even the music make the gaming experience worthwhile.

PLAYFeb 11, 2023Rise evolves World’s approachable template into an even more fun and faster-paced entry with brilliant new mechanics and the series’ most inspired designs. [Issue#24, p.70]

Jan 25, 2023While there’s been no content added to either the PlayStation or Xbox versions, you’ll still have plenty to do here. There’s the main questline to engage with that’ll take you through multiple monster quest tiers, which is somewhat short compared to other Monster Hunter titles. But the online hub quests expand that out even further, offering up more story content that goes beyond the end credits of the game, and has a number of challenging fights for experienced hunters. There’s also a whole host of free downloadable quests to engage with, encompassing the free DLC that’s come out on prior versions of the game. All in all, you’ll be able to spend a lot of time exploring and hunting down giant monsters, which is pretty much what you want out of a new Monster Hunter game.
