Mar 9, 2023Monster Energy Supercross 6 feels like a victory lap for the series. It's a podium finish without a doubt, but they're going to need to raise the bar for the next race to ensure they take home the championship instead of a second-place trophy.

Apr 10, 2023Overall Monster Energy Supercross 6 is better than Supercross 5, but not by much. The game is worth a pickup for serious fans, but if you already own Supercross 5 and are happy with it, it might not be worth it for you. I do enjoy Supercross 6’s smoother controls and upgraded Supercross Park, but other than that, it’s nearly the same as the last game. How much you’re going to like this game really depends on how big of a fan you are.

Mar 13, 2023While not hugely different from last year's, Supercross Park and the tweaks to gameplay make Monster Energy Supercross 6 worth checking out.

Mar 9, 2023This new iteration feels fun for both bike-enthusiasts and newcomer alike, but it's still an old-gen game and it shows.

Apr 7, 2023A new game in a now familiar series. It is mostly more of the same, but complemented by subtle improvements and technical optimisations. This makes every race feel slightly different and the Supercross Park is a nice feature that gives you a lot of freedom to race. It is a solid game, but one that has to deal with issues that were also known from previous installments. A lack of real innovation, mediocre AI and graphically it is also not very impressive. Take it into account, but other than that it is a fun racer.

Mar 17, 2023I’m not a hardcore racing or motocross fan, which is something that should be taken into consideration by anyone reading this review. I’m a lifelong sports gamer who loves a balance between simulation and fun. MES6 isn’t a perfect title, but it feels like Milestone has taken significant steps toward delivering a well-rounded experience for hardcore and more casual fans. If the features in place are expounded upon next year, it could climb a spot in my rotation.

Mar 9, 2023This is the best Monster Energy Supercross release yet. But for many there simply won’t be enough genuinely new here to impress. Casual fans that have already purchased least year’s release might just want to make do with that for another year. Ardent supercross fans, on the other hand, will no doubt appreciate the latest riders, bikes and tracks, as well as the other few new features an upgrades that are on offer here, but won’t be able to shake the overall feeling of familiarity.

Mar 10, 2023Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 6 remains a great game in its segment, with solid mechanics, competent visuals and a good level of challenge. However, it innovates very little compared to its predecessors and maintains some of the franchise's chronic problems.
-
Mar 9, 2023A great physics system and various modes to play keep Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6 afloat amidst some technical issues and an uninspired aesthetic. Recommended for motocross fanatics only.

Apr 7, 2023As an annual product, Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 6 is not bringing a lot new to the party. The time on track remains interesting and unique but the presentation and career mode feels very stale and flat. Fans might jump at the chance to get back in the saddle but I struggle to find a reason to recommend this over last year's title. There's a lot of content here but I wasn't especially excited to wring it all out.

Mar 9, 2023With The Official Videogame 6, The Monster Energy Supercross series from Milestone continues to feel like the pot on the back burner of all the racing series they develop and publish. They have the license and claim a bunch of updates every year, but the core racing experience remains troubled and inconsistent, especially in comparison to the MotoGP series of games. Having said that, I still feel this is the most fun I’ve had out of all the games in this series and that may be thanks to the AI changes and removing any assists. Still, each game comes out a year behind in its roster and track updates and it just doesn’t do the best job of replicating the sport. The Rhythm Attack and new Supercross Park are both welcome additions and cross-play will allow for bigger racing rooms online, but the fact that Milestone still sells the game for $10 less than normal retail won’t help justify it in the current generation as that price is now $60. They need to take a year off and develop specifically for current generation hardware and catch up its calendar year to the same year that it’s released.
-
Mar 9, 2023A dented chassis for what otherwise has a solid engine, Monster Energy Supercross 6 makes some adjustments to accommodate newcomers, but if you played others before, you’ve most likely already played this one. There’s a decent physics-based racer here, just the presentation doesn’t cross the finish line.
