    Many people complain about the game's short length, however that doesn't reduce its quality in any way. People just don't know how to enjoy a good thing and take it for what it is. I went into it just expecting it to be just a side story about Miles, which it is, but it is done wonderfully. Gameplay is just as great as the previous entry, and while it isn't the most innovative or novel game (because it is a sequel) it is perfectly executed and has tons of great moments.     It's a lesser game than the original Spider-man. Both games are 'fine' but I find them awfully bland in terms of characters and storyline. This one suffers more from that as Miles has even less character than Spidey in the first games.

    I know many people love them but they're not for me.

    Este juego es inferior al primer juego de Spiderman , pero tiene una mejora gráfica increíble, unas misiones buenas, pero la nota en mi opinión es mas baja ya que el tiempo de duración es ridicuo. Incluso par desbloquear el platino te llevara 1-2 días. Como DLC puede estar bien, pero el costo el alto para lo que ofrece. Aunque no es un mal juego, le falta contenido

    This game is the complete package to me. I enjoyed it much more than the base game, as I thought the story, characters and side quests were much better. Every quest and task in the game ties into the main story and it's one of the very few games I 100% completed. I may even do the platinum one day. It's the perfect length too. I find most modern games too long but MM is the perfect length.

    Everything that have been in the previous game but better especially the traversel was 2 times better the the previous game which already had very good traversel only down side was the story

    Spider-Man Miles Morales is a pretty fun game. It's what you'd expect from a classic superhero game, you feel powerful and can dominate all the bad guys while looking cool and stylish. I had fun playing the game, despite how short it was. I never played the previously insomniac spider-man games so the combat style felt really fun to me, especially with all the spider gadgets and gimmicksSpider-Man Miles Morales is a pretty fun game. It's what you'd expect from a classic superhero game, you feel powerful and can dominate all the bad guys while looking cool and stylish. I had fun playing the game, despite how short it was. I never played the previously insomniac spider-man games so the combat style felt really fun to me, especially with all the spider gadgets and gimmicks with the suit. The story was pretty okay, but I don't think that's the main reason people play a spider-man game. I personally didn't care to listen to all the distress messages being sent out, and only went out of my way to help people if it was on the way to the main quest, a lot of the distress messages from civilians is a little repetitive, but it can be fun if you are a fan of the combat like I am.

    if you like open-world sandbox games where you're extremely overpowered with a bunch of cool gimmicks, you'll find some fun here for a while, but I think it'll overall be a short experience. I played for about 15 hours before putting the game down.    … Expand

    A solid game built off the same gameplay as the 2018 game with improved combat with the addition of the venom and invisibility powers, a graphical and performance upgrade due to being built for the next-gen systems. The story is decent, not quite as good as 2018, but still solid albeit being extremely short with limited side activities    I recommend this game, but perhaps wait for a sale.

    The same game as the first one but this time with horrible writing and dialogs. Dropped it after finishing 70% of the story. And yeah they are trying to push that woke nonsense down your throat way too hard.

    I liked this game way more than 2018 Spider Man. They improved everything that I didn't like about its predecessor. On the normal difficulty after some time you can destroy your enemies with extremely satisfying venom punches. It has an app with tracking of all types of crimes + additional content. The number of collectibles and bases is reasonable. The plot is fine. And I got this gameI liked this game way more than 2018 Spider Man. What's even more disappointing, however, is the initial price of the game; $70/€80 for a 6 hours long game, it genuinely feels like a scam, especially for a PS5 launch title, yet it doesn't even use haptic feedback technology at all.

    It all sounds horrible unfortunately, but aside from these things, at least the game is actually fun and high quality; it's enjoyable, it has a passable story that focuses on not-so interesting characters, but the character development is good enough and Miles is a decent protagonist with a lot of potential.
    The story is also very short though, clocking at around 6 hours, maybe slightly more for some people, but it's still short... and unacceptable for a full priced game.
    The gameplay, however, is very good! It's similar to the gameplay of the first game but with some cool tweaks and additions, and the boss fights are much better this time.
    Also, the visuals are gorgeous and surprisingly, the music is very fitting and distinct.
    The mission design and the puzzles get repetitive after a while though.
    Lastly, similarly to the first game, the open world is mostly empty and it has barely any meaningful content, although it's even worse in this one because the game is much shorter and has even less side-content.

    Pros:
    + Serviceable narrative
    + Nice set-up for the actual sequel
    + Great gameplay
    + Very beautiful graphics
    + Good music

    Cons:
    - Very short story
    - Monotonous mission design
    - Repetitive puzzles
    - Empty and boring open world

Para su duración y su precio, comparándolo con su antecesor, puede ser un punto negativo, pero hoy día se agradece un mundo abierto que no haga falta jugar durante cientos de horas para hacer y ver todo su contenido. En mi opinión, lo mejor es la historia y el mundo de Spider-man, mientras que lo peor, diría que es su excesivo continuismo con respecto a la entrega anterior, lo cual quita un poco de magia a la experiencia.     A very fun Play through to get the Miles Morales Story before Spider Man 2. Unfortunately I felt it lacked content and just wasn’t as hooking me as much as the first Game. I do like how they implement new aspects to the game such as the Venom abilities to differentiate it from the first game. The main story was filled with emotion and action and a few twist which I thoroughly enjoyed. 8/10

    It was fine. Wasn't even close to the levels of the first game. The story is very meh. The webslinging is better. But that's cause of the animations and you can venom jump and dash. I can't help but compare this Miles to the Spider-Verse Miles. It's night and day. The movie version is just more interesting. But I look forward to seeing how Miles is in Spider-Man 2.

    Ich muss sagen, dass mir das DLC wesentlich besser gefallen hat als das Original. Man fühlt sich wirklich wie ein frischer, anfänglicher Spider-Man. Gefällt mir richtig gut.

    This time Miles as main spider-man looks very delightful & enjoyable journey same as first one.

    Somehow, someway, this game felt better to play than the first. That was an incredibly hard thing to achieve, but the uniqueness of Miles' moveset and abilities makes it happen. If I had to nitpick ANYTHING with this game, I would say that it didn't last long enough. But that is ok. This was meant to be a PS5 intro title, with them exploring new mechanics that we will get to see in Spider-Man 2.

    I remember being extremely hyped for this game back when it first launched after the 2018 Spider Man game was one of my favorite games ever made and I loved Miles Morales when it first launched but after replaying again this time on a PS5, I've come to realize it's more flawed than I remember. Before I actually explain what makes it disappointing, I wanna talk about what I absolutely lovedI remember being extremely hyped for this game back when it first launched after the 2018 Spider Man game was one of my favorite games ever made and I loved Miles Morales when it first launched but after replaying again this time on a PS5, I've come to realize it's more flawed than I remember. Before I actually explain what makes it disappointing, I wanna talk about what I absolutely loved about it. Firstly, the graphics and gameplay are phenomenal and are definitely a step above the 2018 game since the map covered in snow makes the game look so much more different and Mile's new moves including Venom abilities feel so much better to use and something that goes surprisingly unnoticed, the rockets are much more satisfying than the 2018 game with they properly explode. The side quests are about the same in terms of quality to the 2018 game but there's a LOT more here but what helps is that they're all contained instead of having to hope you come across it in the 2018 game allowing you to take care of it at your own pace instead of the game's. Surprisingly, even though Insomniac didn't have to, they actually created brand new animations for the people obsessed with wanting new animations cause trust me when I say they would've called them lazy for using the same animations and called it DLC (which to be fair, it kinda is with how it wasn't a full priced game at launch) but I definitely appreciate it since it actually makes sense for Miles with his new tricks in the air, how he stumbles on the ground when he falls, and even during gameplay. I'm really glad the MJ and Miles stealth missions were cut because those were AWFUL back then and still are now. The soundtrack is surprisingly a step above the 2018 game to the point where I actually listen to it whenever I'm out and about. Finally though, I can definitely see the PS5 benefits with how how it showcases the controllers haptic feedback (which to be clear, makes a MUCH bigger difference than you think). That's sadly all of the positives I have for the game because everything else sadly is not. Like how there are 2 enemy factions and they literally don't fight that much differently leaving much to be desired. The game still has some minor glitches while didn't ruin the game for me personally, baffles me how Insomniac didn't fix them 2 and a half years later. While the short story didn't really bother me (after all, I primarily do everything a game has to offer so it took about 20), what did bother me is that there wasn't a lot of time for good enough character development for some of the characters, and that's easily the worst part about this game for me personally. See, Miles and his companions are given excellent development throughout the game and it's enough for me to want to see Miles succeed, but it's where the villains (except the Prowler) that are the BIGGEST downgrade compared to the 2018 game. The main villain is barely a character but it's really the other villain Miles used to have a bond with who is borderline insufferable and ruins the game with her literal hypocrisy knows no bounds and her "sacrifice" at the end while beautiful, feels unearned. Overall, while I enjoyed my time with Miles Morales, after coming back to play it again, I've come to realize how much of a disappointment it actually was and that's a genuine shame because I could tell whoever made this game are genuine Spider Man fans who worked really hard on this game but that's not enough to make the game great. So while it's not stopping my hype for Spider Man 2, and hell, I actually still recommend this game now that it's so cheap, I ultimately have to open my eyes and realize Playstation isn't always about quality with it's products.… Expand

It introduces a new character who has unique and fun to use powers. Graphics are amazing and swinging as well as combat are both well flushed out. The plot of the game could be better though. The story is disappointingly generic as well as being short, especially when compared to most story based games these days. There are a far amount of side quests to make up for the short story so you should spend plenty of time on this game. Overall I do recommend this game, though it has its faults it is still a fun and energetic game.… Expand

Miles and the changes from his comic book appearances are all perfectly fine within the game, although the voice actor feels a bit bland.     Just like the first Spider-Man on PS4, but it’s shorter and I didn’t get hooked on the story quite as much. So grading on a curve I prefer the first one; but if you look at it as its own thing this game is amazing. If you liked the first one; or just like Spider-Man this is absolutely a must play.

    Visually this game is the copycat of the Spider-Man Remastered version except for the winter season. The swing mechanism and combat are almost or exactly the same. This game is even shorter than the previous one, and I find the story of the original Spider-Man is more appealing than it.

    As this game is being a launch title for the PlayStation 5, I got to say (along with Demon’s Souls, Spider Man Remastered, and Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate) this game is fire. Great gameplay, a short but enjoyable story, great graphics, overall an amazing launch game for an masterpiece of an console.

    This game is truly great I can't wait for him to team up with Peter Parker in Spider-Man 2. This game has really fun gameplay mechanics and a great story. There is a little political stuff, but it is basically hidden and is not shoved in your face like other games. I would definitely recommend you give this game a try and you will probably end up having a really good time.

    Fantastic game. It's a better game than the original one because story is way more interesting and they no longer have the weird puzzle mini games that were repetitive and boring. Story may be short, but at least the post-story events keep happening in opposite to the original game.

    Improves on its predecessor in just about every way. If not for its hilarious brevity and that jingle they added after you stop a crime (this isn't in 2018), this would be an easy 10. Miles is the gadget and I do appreciate how Insomniac made him, his abilities and traversal extremely unique.

    But I really didn't like how story introduced and story finish is very classic very predictable. But the main problem is the game is short. I at least expected very satisfying long story since the playing the game is already fun.

I hate the main character, he is nothing but a "Woke" Spiderman; an unfortunate result of Hollywood's diversification. Not to mention that half-ass reveal that antagonist was the main character's friend.     Amazing game, put a couple improvements to the new spidey from the last and gave Miles his own identity as Spider-Man. Insomniac did a great job exposing Miles Morales as the a new hero and let you grow with him as his skills improve. The story is very touching and well done, and the graphical improvements are very immersive. Options to play in fidelity or performance mode and comes with aAmazing game, put a couple improvements to the new spidey from the last and gave Miles his own identity as Spider-Man.     Visually rather impressive, but that's about the only positive thing I remember. The dialogues are very annoying, and the dubbing in French is downright bad and cringe. The character of Miles Morales is execrable and sounds daft (Miles of the animated film has much more relief and is more interesting). The events are misplaced and you don't feel any emotion, not to mention the fact that the game exudes "benevolence" at excess to the point of being ridiculous (Danika's podcast is unbearable). Thé entire game sounds like left propaganda. Even if we feel that the game want to be aimed at Generation Z, you really have to put your brain aside to appreciate it. I haven't played on normal difficulty, but I can say that the game is quite chaotic on hard, although the gameplay is pretty solid. The formula of objects and missions repeated several times and spread all over the map is exhausted. In summary, it's beautiful, but it sounds hollow. It's a beautiful empty shell. A boring technical demonstration, that's all. Is this the fate of all mainstream games that try to address new generations ? I still have a preference for the Batman Arkhams who showed the way many years ago, but in really better.… Expand

    Great game just like it's predecessor, but I can't help but feel like this game is a glorified DLC. I can't help that it reminds me when L4D2 came out with almost no difference from it's predecessor. Game is fun, main character has a great character arc, but the story nothing special even by generic standards.

    I just didn't care for the story as much this time around but still good. Gameplay is still amazing with a few improvements.

    The graffics and gameplay are excellent. But the screemplay is very weak, the side quests are not exciting.

    An excellent follow on from the first game. What a story! Great gameplay just couldn’t put it down. Really hope they make another one

    Solid game, a little repetitive coming off 2018. still very fun to play as Miles. The story is just ok.

    Stretched between two generations of consoles, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is more of a teaser than a real showcase of PS5’s capabilities.
