Feb 23, 2022This game was quick, fun, and just all around okay. It has pretty mindless gameplay, but cool areas to explore that are full of cool references. I personally would have trouble paying the full price, but I would recommend this game if it is on sale.

Apr 25, 2022It's a cool and fun game, the villain and the commentator are fun, with lots of jokes about man's relationship with nature.
The gameplay is also good, nothing special, but sometimes in the fight the camera can be annoying.
With good graphics and an easy platinum, somewhere around 10 hours, Maneater is cool at the beginning and a little cloying in the middle. -
Mar 19, 2022Had Soo much fun with this, much better than GTA, why kill people with weapons when you can just munch munch.
-
Jan 26, 2021The game is decent for an RPG lacking in content. However, when my shark reached maximum level, I had serious trouble with framerate and the game would even crash about once per hour. Also, an end boss that seems impossible to beat.
-
Jan 13, 2021Game is somewhere between 5 and 6 but I need to start from scratch regardless of progress on ps4 so -1 for that

Nov 6, 2021Good dumb fun. The only drawback I could find is the glitches which caused a bit of frustration. The overall game was just so stupid and fun that I enjoyed it anyway.

Jan 6, 2021Playstation Plus game of January 2021. Worth giving it a try as it is dumb fun with meh mechanics. The camera is often struggling to stay put, as your shark constantly switches between locked on prey. For the $50 price tag, its hard to recommend this game exists on mobile devices for free, offering a similar experience. Hungry Shark World/Evolution.

Oct 3, 2021Great shark game. Funny commentary. Nice evolutions. Cool set body parts. Nice killing animations.

Feb 14, 2022Like it so much!
Very addictive gameplay.
Nice shark evolving.
Great voice and sounds on background -
Feb 26, 2021Juego entretenido para pasar el rato. Esta padre ver cómo van aumentando las estadísticas de tu tiburon

Mar 7, 2021It's like a bad B movie, but it gets very repetitive very quickly. The "natgeo documentary" narration is funny at first but it gets old very quickly, just like the gameplay. It isn't even nicely optimized for the ps5...

Aug 17, 2021Simple but great game. IMO is one of that games that you enjoy while you play it, but you easily forgett when you are done with. I played for free with PS Plus.
-
Mar 19, 2023Stupidly fun game, perfect to spend one or two evenings hunting alligators and people.
-
Mar 12, 2021Suffered frame rate issues after progressing deep in the game.
Levels are too monotonous for my liking. Story line is average at best. -

Jan 19, 2021This is a cool open world game. The story isnt mindblowing at all but the fighting system is really cool. Skins are not there just for the looks but also for special abilities, which i find interesting. Theres a lot of enemies and stuff to explore, though in the end youre doing the same all the time. Still worth a play.

Feb 11, 2021Short game, but fun. Good comedic factor, good controls. Probably wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks for it. Easy easy platinum.
-
Sep 6, 2022Its a fun game just short and it does get real repetitive I also ran into some performance issues.

Jan 11, 2021Just to spend time. The gameplay is based on a system to catch things in the map and bite people and fishes. Ok, we can't expect more than that. I think when you reach the Mega status, you become a invincible shark and this ruins the experience. Good graphics and physics.

It is a good game, it is entertaining to be a shark, its gameplay reminded me of a snes game called "evo" where the animal was evolving as it ate its enemies. videogames apart from being art, they try to entertain us and this one achieves it.

Jan 10, 2021The kind of game you finish in a weekend and have a decent amount of fun with. Gameplay is quite entertaining for the most part but it can get a bit stale after a few hours.
Definitely worth trying as it is free with PlayStation Plus (as of January 2021). Otherwise, pick it up on sale. You won't be disappointed. -

May 25, 2021Maneater is quite simply a game where you get to be the shark and prey on sea life, humans, or whatever you come by. A fun game to play overall. For trophy hunters - yes, it is a separate trophy stack.
Gory and violent, the game does not disappoint for fans of Jaws, Megalodon, or anyone who ever imagined how cool it would be to be a shark. Definitely worth checking out. -

Jul 21, 2022It's a very fun game. The narrator is hilarious and most names of collectibles and locations are referring to PC. I am laughing a lot. The gameplay is okay at best. The first part after the intro can be annoying because you are very weak. Once you reach the adult form it gets better. The game isn't very hard and it's an easy plat. Get it when it's discounted.

Jul 28, 2022For a short time, it's pretty fun and it also looks very good.
But it gets repetitive vefy quickly and what's worst: the game crashed and destroyed my save file with 15 hours progress. Not gonna start from scratch. It's not worth it. -
Oct 21, 2022First I thought it’s a joke but then I figured out, that there is a real fighting system!
If you spend some ours you learn it. The atmosphere under water is fantastic with raytracing.
Just “for me” the fighting is a little too loud and I don’t like the sounds of it. But besides this sound and atmosphere is amazing.
And they gave it a lil story.
Fantastic! -
Dec 24, 2022Answer: 75 characters is between 10 words and 19 words with spaces included in the character count. If spaces are not included in the character count, then 75 characters is between 12 words and 25 words.

Jan 31, 2021"Maneater" is a true evil genre in the game industry. But it's just like most B movies, bloody scenes and repetitive shots will inevitably make people bored.
-
Nov 30, 2020As it is, Maneater is still a fairly fun game if roleplaying as an aquatic killing machine is your thing, FPS dips and all… I just wish that my brain would stop playing that damn Nelly Furtado song of the same name over and over every time I settle in for a quick sharky session, especially as the OTHER “Maneater” song by Hall & Oates is a much better fit contextually.

Nov 29, 2020The new features are welcome, and the game definitely looks nicer, but apart from that, it’s the same experience. If you had your fill of the title on the PS4, there’s not a whole lot to come back for. However, if you’re just diving into the game now, this is the version you want.
