    Games presentation is by far it's greatest feature as the environment and cutscenes are phenomenal. The optimisation is great as long as you have bought a gaming computer within the last 2 years. I had no issues with the combat and the puzzles really complimented the mechanics nicely. I guess the only reason this is not a perfect score is because it's a semi-short game.     Game is one of the best games on PS5. One of my favorites of the year. Graphics are some of the best, gameplay is awesome and reminds me of Zelda. Soundtrack is amazing too.

    this is my first blind purchased of the game. i don't know what to expect, OMG this game is so good! the storyline the combo and the design will make you hooked up. i've finished this game TWICE!!!! and i never played storyline game twice. This is damn good!

    I was really looking forward into playing this game and sadly, I'm really really disappointed. Besides being pretty, this game doesn't offer much. I feel like playing a Ps2 Remake. Mecanics are really outdated, the music is sometimes good but sometimes really annoying and the combat system is one of the worst I've seen in decades. I usually play my games on hard or normal difficulty and II was really looking forward into playing this game and sadly, I'm really really disappointed. Besides being pretty, this game doesn't offer much. I feel like playing a Ps2 Remake. Mecanics are really outdated, the music is sometimes good but sometimes really annoying and the combat system is one of the worst I've seen in decades. I usually play my games on hard or normal difficulty and I just put this one on story mode since controls aren't responding at all and bosses are just damage sponges that take 50 hits+ to kill. Parrying is really tedious and frustrating too. I would recommend to play this game when it's 20$ or less :(… Expand

    Totally overrated. The combat system is extremely basic. It can be ridiculously challenging even on the lowest difficulty settings (no idea how a child would enjoy it). Of course, it is undeniably cute and all that. Overall, not worth it.

    The scenery and level design with all the puzzles and the interactive elements decorated with blue crystals highlight the work that went into the ambiance.     Has double jump -Combat is basically Pixar’s version of blood borne control scheme wise -Combat itself presents a challenge but not dark souls challenge -Has a bow and arrow you unlock later and if you jump and shoot , you get a slow down like horizon zero Dawn - combat is very smooth and you can interrupt enemie hits except the bosses unless you hit a weak point on the boss - puzzles are very easy IF you pay attention to EVERYTHING around you

    As I was playing I was thinking this is a 10/10, a truly unique and amazing experience that will probably end up being in my top 10 gaming experiences of all time. But, for me, the very end of the game didn't feel like a satisfying conclusion for Kena herself. Think of Journey; it builds to this amazing, awe-inspiring ending, whereas for Kena herself (those that have played will know why IAs I was playing I was thinking this is a 10/10, a truly unique and amazing experience that will probably end up being in my top 10 gaming experiences of all time. But, for me, the very end of the game didn't feel like a satisfying conclusion for Kena herself. Think of Journey; it builds to this amazing, awe-inspiring ending, whereas for Kena herself (those that have played will know why I refer to Kena herself), it didn't feel like it wrapped-up her story. With the backstory she told, and her reason for seeking the mountain peak, I was hoping that storyline would have had a definitive bow tied around it.

    Game is gorgeous. The Rot that follow you around are very cute.
    The game is incredibly short and can be completed in about 4 hours if you zip through it. The combat and exploration though feels stiffer than I would've liked but overall it is a good adventure game and accessible for a wide audience.

    What a fantastic experience. If you're on the fence about this game, just get it. It stands on it's own with some of the $70 PS5 exclusives in my opinion. For $40 there's no reason to pass this one up. The production value is very high. Some of the lighting effects are among the best I've seen in any game. Loving it so far. About 5 hours in.

    Es un juego realmente fantástico, sus escenarios te hacen detenerte en cada rincón y postal que te encuentras, la historia te mantiene pendiente, y el mapa hace que quieras adentrarte en cada estrecho que te llama la atención, es un buen juego, y algo que no me esperaba de un estudio independiente, es un titulo bien logrado, con buena historia y entretenidas mecánicas.

    The visuals and cinematics are very nice but once you get past the superficial aspects of the game the actual gameplay gets repetitive fast and suffers from poor pacing. The world is beautiful but the lack of NPCs and wildlife really makes this game feel dead and adds to the pacing issue during moments you have to travel to different parts of the map.     For their very first game, Ember Lab did a really good job. The artistic direction is beautiful, technically it follows, and the atmosphere is grandiose. I was transported from start to finish. It is very refreshing.

    This game is so boring. So much repetitive, the difficuld doens not match with the gameplay. The gameplay is too generic. I wouldn`t buy this game at lauch is i could come back. Buy it when it has for about 50% cheappear than now.

    The boss fights in this game are absolute garbage and completley ruin the game. Controls are janky and imprecise, boss hitboxes are exakt but bosses use alot of homing abilities, character has a **** huge hitbox when attacked by bosses and the iframes of dodge are too random and imprecise to learn them.     J'ai eu un bug super chiant dés le début après le tutoriel lors de la première quête quand j'ai récupéré le masque de Taro. Dés que je le mettais je rester en mode vision FPS. Très chiant et même en prenant une ancienne sauvegarde le problème continuer. J'ai dû recommencer une nouvelle partie et tout recommencer.
    La musique est sympa et correspond très bien à l'univers du jeu.

    A great first game from Emberlab and an absolute masterpiece of a game! It's funny how some big game developers with a long history can release pretty crappy games but a small studio like Emberlab can put out a beautiful game that plays so well on their first try!!

    A phenomenal first game by Amber Labs. Amazing visuals and fantastic directorial vision define a truly immersive experience. Gameplay is absolutely solid with satisfying combat and fun world exploration. Small negatives: The platforming can feel a little stuff and the difficulty modes aren’t very well balanced.

    My god what a great game. And Ember Lab’s first game as well!!! Sony get that fat check and acquire and grow them ASAP. Can’t wait for their next Project. I’m absolutely having a BLAST in Kena so far. Really sensational.

    Why did I play this?. No emotions, nothing left behind by Kena bridge of spirits. I understand that this is the first project of a studio that has not made games before. But damn it, why is it so soulless? I do not know, I regret the purchase and the hours spent in it.

    This game is truly something special! From the graphics which are stunning. To the soundtrack which is so whimsical, endearing, and inviting. To the varied and fun combat, to the many ways of traversing these lush environments. Ignore the idiotic low critic and audience scores. Giving this game less than 8 should be a crime! Play this game, you won't be disappointed.

The menu of abilities is a joke. So small that even the poor forgiven Biomutant was deeper in that area. In fact Biomutant the very mediocre indy released this year is way better than this. I heard that the game is profeminism like Frozen. Certainly I didnt torture myself bothering that much to notice but I cant rember a game that I hate it so much after a while. Dont belive reviews.     In order to illustrate where my problem with Kena lies. This is a game that offers beautiful facsimiles of Zelda, Uncharted, The Pathless and Pikmin that glide by through its 10 to 15 hour running time. But playing Kena gets very boring, very fast.

    Excellent game, a Disney movie without the woke mind virus that you can physically play. It's a charming yet mature at times game with elements of open world sandbox, platforming and combat. On master spirit difficulty, this game is harder than any Miyazaki/Dark Souls game, so there's also that. On master difficulty and trying to unlock everything, it look me 64hrs to complete.

    Ember Lab didn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Instead the developers opted for tried and true mechanics that entertained us time and again in many action adventure games, and mixed them in an almost perfect way. The beginning might be a little slow, but when Kena: Bridge of Spirits gains momentum, it becomes truly great. While the blockbusters games of 2021 continue to deliver the same ho-hum experience of 2021, Kena is a much needed ray of sunshine to the current choices of titles available and more importantly, looks fantastic on the PlayStation 5.
