This kind of game happens when a developer takes their time to get things right. The relationships progress naturally and the story continues beautifully. They have improved some of the weapons and fight mechanics, and retained the best of the last game. Bravo!

HFB to kontynuacja idealna. Kazdy jeden, najmniejszy fragment gry zostal poprawiony. Walka, perki, mimika postaci, cut scenki, fabula, konstrukcja zadan, nowe aktywnosci i wiele, wiele innych. Grafika juz teraz wyrywa z kapci i wypala HDR w telewizorze, az strach pomyslec co bedzie jak studia Sony zaczna robic gry dedykowane tylko PS5. Absolutny must have i mocny kandydat do GOTY.

Amazing game, beautiful to look at and an absolute overhaul of its predecessor. Best next gen game so far, nothing you can fund on any other console. Side missions aren’t meaningless anymore and the story it’s excellent paced. A must own game!

This game is simply wow. It is perfect; battles with machines are so satisfying and engaging; I didn't have so much fun in a long time. I also enjoy RPG elements and the story a lot.

Deserving of the highest praise, H:FW is the best western style open world since Ghost of Tsushima. Whilst it lacks the depth of the combat of Elden Ring, the world building in H:FW is way beyond anything that From Software has ever managed. It is.beautiful to behold and utterly compelling. The story and character arcs are well crafted and accessible. Utterly brilliant.

One of the most amazing games I've ever played! The game is an excellent evolution to be one of the best and important sequels of the PlayStation studios. Upgraded graphics using the newest graphics and ps5 technology available. The story is rich and more profound and the world is bigger than before with more activities and challenges across the sreasm

I loved the first one, but I love this one even more. I am now ten hours into the game and can't stop playing. No bugs found yet. People that are rating it a zero are not serious. It's a very well made game, not a cheap cash grabber like COD, Battlefield or FIFA. You can see that they really took care of the details. Highly recommended but I recommend to play part one first.

    The game is really awesome.
It improve everything on the first one.
    A lot more upgrades
    Many new ennemy types
    More interesting sidequests.
The graphics are so good too.
Lot of quality of life improvement also.
The story pick up right after the first game, and is really interesting.
If you like the first game, you will love this one.

I can’t tell you the last time a game has grabbed me like Horizon: Forbidden West. The more I play it, the more I fall in love. Simply put its a massive upgrade over the original, and one of the best Open World games I’ve played, and I’ve played them all. Story is great and the acting is really impressive. Guerrilla outdid themselves with this sequel. Phenomenal game in every aspect. IfI can’t tell you the last time a game has grabbed me like Horizon: Forbidden West. Another Sony first party title knocked out of the park! Everything about this game is great just like zero dawn. Improvements were made and new things added that were needed. The only thing I didn’t like was a certain part of the story but not worth dropping it a point.

But to be honest I’m really surprised by what I’m experiencing in Forbidden West. I haven’t finished the game yet but I don’t think even I can fully appreciate the remarkable work of art this game is. The game world is beautiful and filled with details. It’s alive with loads of side quests that are properly presented and intertwine with what’s going on around you. With choices that affect the outcome. With remarkable acting that can now truly be appreciated as it is truly on par with animated movies or tv shows. With fun to explore locations. Hidden places. Thousands of fun activities. Interesting cultures and characters to meet. Stories that you want to follow. A game that from what I can tell is a lot about the journey of Aloy and how vulnerable she is and the importance of friendship. We know from the first game how well the fusion of sci-fi, prehistoric and tribal settings works on this series. But still. It allows for such great gameplay with each enemy almost functioning like a mini boss with each own advantages disadvantage you can exploit. When I first started the game my goal was to mostly do the main quest and not waste much time in side activities that are often repetitive. But everything is so hand crafted that from a hidden location to an enemy base you clear out, it fits and provides you more detail into the story. Or you find a gorgeous looking hidden place and Aloy reacts to it as a believable character. Or you end up doing an activity and meeting a new character that is interesting. Random encounters that end up with an interesting mission to do. And the music. So so good. The background audio that at times felt so real. They did a remarkable job as it sound pretty much like reality. Binaural or whatever it is they do I could literally pin point animals passing near by off screen¡. After experiencing part of this game I really can’t understand why some people would take the time to review bomb a game that from is at least on par with some of the best games ever created. I just edited this “review” after playing quite a bit more changing my score from 9 to 10. It really is amazing. The truly unique places you visit set it apart from many other games I’ve played where I had the feeling of “been there done that”. The creators really tried hard to make places feel original. But above all, this is an open world game that doesn’t feel like the typical open world game. There is no generic open terrain feel. Every single frame is like a painting you could use as wallpaper. There is always something interesting on the screen. And you are continuously distracted. I’ve played Elden Rings that is pretty good and a different type of game but just to give a small example as far as open world games go. Technically and immersion wise, Horizon Forbidden West is probably one of if not the best right now. I’ll give a small example. I could see the lights of a village kilometers away from me in Horizon. Basically as far as the eye can see. In Elden Ring the light from torches only showed up when I was a few hundred meters away from them. The lights spots basically spawned. This is immersion breaking. To put it simple, Horizon feels like an immersive cinematic experience when compare to other highly regarded open world games out there. Expand

I'm long time xbox guy. I finally got a ps5 and it came with Horizon Forbidden West. I I'm loving this game while I love my series x there is something about the quality of Sony exclusive games. This one in particular is just amazing. Besides Forza Horizon this is my game of the year.

First up is is simply drop dead beautiful. The amount of detail underfoot can NOT be understated. and even in resolution mode it runs solidly. (but TBF I was never one to subscribe to 60fps as a necessity)

The characters and animations are vastly improved from the first one, especially the NPCs With Chainscrape's Cook and the Seriously annoyed/'done with it' Carja Soldier being highlights. And the writing/acting has has me laughing out loud on several occasions, which is not something I expected to be doing much of seeing how dark and depressing H:ZD's story was. Also Boomer worries me. (you'll see)

Gameplay wise it's a case of same but different.

I was disappointed to find that the 'lure' skill doesn't seem to be in existence any more. You get a lot of the old skills as default (like critical strike and silent strike...) so I really wanted to get back to lurking in the tall grass luring machines away from the heard to take them out silently. But no.

I've actually come to the conclusion that this is a brilliant move as it makes separating and isolating machines more a matter of understanding how the machines act. you have to observe them and note how they respond to thinking they've seen something. You can use rocks (and the new inventory system means you are not gonna run out of rocks) to attract their attention, or just pop your head up when it's looking in your direction before taking cover again this will peek its curiosity and it could well stroll over to have a better look. This change for the better is also applicable to removal of the 'stealthomiter' (the are you hidden and how much noise are you making indicator). you can never be 100% certain you are fully hidden or that you are making minimal noise, and TBH that is how it should be.

Anyway It's a Great game and will be a generation defining one.

Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
