    Visually stunning, game play is fluid and the side missions are just as good as the first game. On day one launch minimal bugs and glitches, honestly on day one release the game ran better than a lot of others did with no patch needed on the first day.

    This game is absolutely flawless. I really don’t see how people can dislike it, I’ve had zero problems on it and zero bugs. I think the people who doesn’t like it, are either Xbox players or people who don’t have a ps5

    Dont believe the reviews here left by the other console fan boys!! I am truly in love with this game. Performance mode is the way to go trust me. 30fps is just not worth it for the minor eye candy bump. I can easily say it surpasses ghost of tushima in many areas. Going to play this for a while now until another good game comes out or gets discounted. Awesome job done by the devs on thisDont believe the reviews here left by the other console fan boys!!     The world is so immersive and beautiful. Literally the only game on ps5 that I play on resolution mode. The gameplay is great and expanded on from the first game. The character models are gorgeous. Best looking open world that I've seen yet.

    It's an absolutely amazing game, I love it my favorite game to date. Thank you Guerrilla Games for making something so amazing, so well done. Every detail, every change is noticeable and they are good changes. This game is a true AAA. I love you Aloy.

    Gorgeous game, but playing on normal difficulty feels like playing in very hard.
    Resources are scarce; armor and weapons costs and arm and a leg. Zero Dawn did not feel this hard. Disappointed.

    Well crafted storyline. Side quests are vivid and non trashy like some other games do. No repetitive tasks feeling. The viewpoint tallneck is also creative not like AC series just climbing. All in all it deserves it's price. Good job Guerilla Gaming.

    So far I've been enjoying my time with HFW. It is by no means the best game ever created but it is far from the dumpster fire that many people on here are portraying. Guerilla Games took a lot of the feedback received from the first game and implemented improvements in this iteration. I have encountered some bugs which have been annoying but nothing that would prevent me from continuing.So far I've been enjoying my time with HFW. Guerilla Games took a lot of the feedback received from the first game and implemented improvements in this iteration. I have encountered some bugs which have been annoying but nothing that would prevent me from continuing. Among the bugs I have seen thus far in my 40+ hours:

    - On 3 occasions, the frame rate drops to a crawl and then leads to a game crash. 2 other times the frame rate eventually caught back up.
    - During mid-late game side missions there were some issues with the progression of side quests where npc's would not proceed to the next step to allow for progression. Fast traveling to a camp fire and returning to the area seemed to fix those issues.

    Yet to be solved bugs are:
    - Completed map icons from a particular activity are not disappearing as they should.
    - Melee Pit Quests seem to be bugged currently. Especially for those who purchased the deluxe edition of the game.

    Outside of those issues, I have been having a great time. The graphics are beautiful, the story is interesting and the side quests varied. They don't necessarily feel tacked on but feel as though they are meaningful mini story lines that further reinforce the main plots importance and overall immersion within the world.

    Bottom line, if you enjoyed the first game, you will like this one. If you didn't like the first game, you probably won't like this one.    … Expand

    This game shows how well Sony cares for his plattform. 10hrs in the game and i am just in love with everything. Can't stop!!!!

    Some small issues that vna easily be fixed but nothing game breaking, pretty much an improvement over the first game in every aspect. The new area is beautiful and the sound team did an amazing job, the new machines are pretty awesome as well and I like some of the new types of weapons.

    Incredible game. I'm playing on a PS5 with a 4k TV, in Performance Mode, and everything is absolutely gorgeous. I was swimming under a lake, admiring the ridiculous detail of the underwater flora, when a friend who'd been watching came back from the bathroom and thought I was in a cutscene. The gameplay is fantastic, melee is greatly improved from the first and you have a ton of weaponIncredible game. Outfits have been cool and I love that they have lots of passive effects now instead of just being fashion. I've had a few problems with the freeclimb system not recognizing certain ledges or thinking a point is too far away, but pretty minor stuff overall.

    If you liked the story of the first a lot, you'll like this one. It's a continuation, and it's really easy to see that they have an overall story clearly in mind. Lots of stuff hinted at in the first game comes back up. Side characters get to hang around a LOT longer which is lovely.

    I have so much to praise, but basically this is a fantastic game and officially my favorite game ever.    … Expand

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
