    This is the best game you will get on any next game console and i can see it being my game of the year. If you have a PS5 there is no reason what so ever not to run and get this game ASAP. Fantastic game. A true gem!!!

    Horizon Forbidden West mejora las mecánicas de su antecesor, la jugabilidad se mantiene con un basto de mecánicas nuevas para explorar y aplicar a la hora del combate. La historia es envolvente dando ese sentimiento de continuidad en la historia llevado de una manera en la que no se siente complicado de seguir si es que se jugó antes el Horizon Zero Dawn.

    It has evolved orthodoxly and is very wonderful. The dissatisfaction element of the previous work is completely dispelled. The video is very nice and I don't care about the loading time. Definitely a great game.

    This game is incredible, i haven't stopped playing it since launch. I spent about 6 hours alone in the introduction area, I always got distracted with things to do. All the side quests are worthwhile and the activities are all fun. You can solve a tomb raider style ruin puzzle, or fight tough enemies and train in a melee fighting pit. They also turn an overused trope in the open worldThis game is incredible, i haven't stopped playing it since launch. I spent about 6 hours alone in the introduction area, I always got distracted with things to do. All the side quests are worthwhile and the activities are all fun. You can solve a tomb raider style ruin puzzle, or fight tough enemies and train in a melee fighting pit. They also turn an overused trope in the open world genre into a fun side activity, you have to solve parcour puzzles to climb tallnecks which reveals the map for you. The story, while not being incredible like other sony games, is always ingaging and will keep you excited for what's gonna come next. The world is incredibly beautiful and very dense, I could spend hours exploring it alone. This is the best looking game i have ever played!
    My favorite part though is the combat. The combat is so complex, yet easy to get a hold of. There are tons of different weapons with different elemental effects and quirks. The machine design is phenomenal. Every maching has a few different ways of effectively taking it out, weakspots, and even some machines have weapons you can shoot off to use yourself. There are a vast variety of traps you can take your enemies out with. The melee combat is incredible too, there are many combos and abilities to master.    … Expand

Infelizmente uma galera que nunca jogou o jogo está vindo aqui para dar nora 0, visando desqualificar a qualidade por ser um jogo exclusivo - Para eles, deve valer tudoÉ nítido a todo o momento o cuidado em cada detalhe que a equipe da Guerrilla teve.     World is vibrant and fun to explore. The machine difficulty has been ramped up with a lot more machines to battle as well. Story is engaging, and the side quests are actually fun and rewarding compared to HZD. Character dialogue is vastly improved.

That’s not all, an upgraded fighting style/new techniques using spear and bow combos and a new assortment of fun weapons to choose from, gives Aloy the feel of being fully customizable to any new encounters you might face. As of right now, Horizon Forbidden West can easily take Game Of The Year for 2022. I have to say, it was from the start one straight line of events, it isnt like ZERO DAWN in FORBIDDEN WEST, you knew everything after you found Beta. I have to say i only had one thing that wasnt (fluid) working well, that was when there were 3 sandstorms or the city of Texas, because of the whole dripping water. If this happens, you can just restart the game, bang its fixed. I have to say, i read a lot of Megacritic 0 scores. I wasnt convinced that they even played the game, when they made a account just for this. I also read a lot of performance mode. I have to say i never used it. Because it always worked well. The last thing i have to say is thank you to everyone that found my review helpful… Expand

Free movement is not ideal, but it's still great. The world is very dense and it feels like there's almost too much stuff, particularly on PS5 Fidelity mode. It's10h in. There's no 'beard' on Aloy (she has baby hairs on her chin if you zoom in to the most miniscule amount, like most real life women do). The characters and locations are even more gorgeous than the previous games, and I've even seen Aloy giggle and blush in response to flirting, you know. Femininely.     I've been playing HFW on my buddies PS5 and it is one of the best open world games I've ever played. The visuals are stunning and nothing like I've ever seen before. The game mechanics, story progression, side missions, characters, and the world itself has been improved from HZD. The game starts off just as you would playing HZD but after a certain point, it takes off into it's own direction and keeps you engaged the rest of the experience. Side missions were so well thought out that I thought I was on a main line quest. Plus, side missions are meaningful quests that help you move the story, and especially, progression forward. Many games you can skip the side missions and you wouldn't miss them after rolling credits but in HFW, you would be doing a disservice if you skipped the side missions. And, they're a ton of fun, too. Overall, this is one of the best games I've ever played and I've been gaming my whole life (in my 40s now).… Expand

    Taking everything that was successful in the first game and improving on it has made this game a masterpiece. Many quality of life upgrades. Incredible graphics in a massive beautiful open world. This game is one of my most anticipated games for the PS5 and it did not disappoint. Guerilla games knocked it out of the park again with this second entry.

    Horizon Forbidden West is more of the greatness we were used to from Zero Dawn. Good = good and that means it doesn't have to change, much. The story continues only with new additions to Aloy's arsenal, new map, new machines and new mechanics.

    C'est juste parfait, j'ai passer plus de 12h de jeux à ne faire que des missions secondaire et des point d'intérêt et il m'en reste encore à faire je n'ai pas explorer tout l'ouest de la map ! Les graphismes sont géniaux, le scénario est incroyable et les personnages (principaux ou secondaire comme boomer par exemple) sont superbement écris et drôle !

    A true adventure. The first chapter was amazing and this is the perfect sequel, it is an evolution in every aspect. Plot is well written and the side quests have received so much attention that they can be considered main quests in the majority of other RPG games. Graphically stunning and the gameplay mechanics have been improved and new ones, especially close quarter combat ones, haveA true adventure.     This is well done all around, I applaud guerrilla games for what they did with this game, they didn't reinvent the wheel they just had a great open world concept and just fixed what was either wrong or lacking in the first game.

The biggest strengths of Forbidden west are the graphics and the expanded combat system.     A great game stunning graphics a great narrative great combat mechanics better than the first one in terms of upgrades they made to the game. Great map, the cauldrons are fun to do. In the end a MASTERPIECE .

    No necesitas más nada sino jugarlo para saber que este juego es como mucho uno de los mejores juegos de mundo abierto que ha salido, las gráficas, la jugabilidad, su rendimiento y su historia te pueden tener hipnotizado por horas frente a tu ps5, vuelvo y repito no se necesita más nada sino JUGARLO y vivir por si mismo la experiencia que te ofrece Horizon!     This is a game to take slow and enjoy every detail involved. Combat is fast paced and enjoyable. The world is beautiful. The people you meet are interesting. Puzzles are challenging. This game is just great in absolutely every single way. Performance mode looks amazing and smooth as butter. I can't find anything bad to say about it.

    Tout simplement magnifique. J'avais déjà très apprécié le premier opus, mais là on passe à un autre niveau. Oui encore quelques bugs ici et là, mais c'est monaie courante maintenant dans l'industrie du jeux vidéo. Les patchs vont faire la job par la suite. Un jeu à avoir et finir à 200%.

It gets rid of some of the more tedious elements of HZD such as inventory management, expands on armour and weapon upgrades and (at least in the Normal difficulty playthrough I did) makes swapping out yourAn absolutely fantastic game!     The characters look amazing and the dialogue in certain quests is like nothing I've ever seen in games before - funny, meaningful, genuine. The music also goes so hard in a way that I didn't expect.
    If you didn't like HZD, hate "women in games", hate representation in games, or somehow think a game that famously got taken off the Playstation Store for being essentially unplayable is "less buggy" than HFW, then you probably won't like this game.
    The reason I have given it a 9 and not a 10 (which I am tempted to give based on the gameplay and story) is the current state of the game. There are bugs, there is some pop-in and at least one quest that at the time of writing this does not work (but it was an optional side quest). I got stuck in the geometry once in a 60hr playthrough, and had one situation where frame rate dropped significantly (but I believe there's already been a patch for that). None of which was "game breaking" as the game is constantly autosaving, so you're likely to only lose a few minutes at most if you have to reload (which again, I only had to do once, when I got stuck in the geometry). I hesitate to even dock the point for that, because I'm certain these kinks will be worked out quickly.
    All in all I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone who likes a big open world game with lots to do and an excellent story.    … Expand

    the game looks awesome in many different angles, you can see the improvements between horizon 1 and 2 ,, new weapons new monsters new map and more depth in the story plus interesting side quests, i just love thus game.

    This game is getting review bombed for no reason other than jealousy from other platform gamers. Go and look at the critic scores or the scores in different gaming channels. It's a amazing game to play and you'll definitely have a fun time. Give it a try.

    The game is really beautiful and for sure better than the first one. The new mechanics are well designed, the world is one of kind and the number and type of machines is insane. The first game was something different and new and fresh and that is why people loved it and the second game has the best sequel recipe for a trilogy. There are some glitches that are minor in the overall game after the disasters of many triple A games in the previous years we are back at a normal number of old times and this is also good.

    Overall the game is great at some points and excellent in others and from all aspects it is one of the best games I ever played and it will stand no matter of some whining that some people have.

    Forbidden West is one of the most stunning games I've ever seen. I never normally bother with photo mode on games but there were a few instances where I just had to stop and marvel. I have seen huge steps of improvement such as graphics (obvious), the combat system is satisfactory, the skill trees appear to let players engage with the enemy in different ways, and the storytelling has become more mature compared to the previous games. After 30 hours of game-play, I haven't finished yet, IThis masterpiece shows a lot of improvement in every aspect of its predecessor. I have seen huge steps of improvement such as graphics (obvious), the combat system is satisfactory, the skill trees appear to let players engage with the enemy in different ways, and the storytelling has become more mature compared to the previous games. After 30 hours of game-play, I haven't finished yet, I can't stop playing the side mission because it is rich in content due to the animation improvement. I don't encounter any frame-rate drop on resolution mode. Also, glitches and bugs have been fixed after the patches were released. I have no complaints about the game, I think the developer had listened to the players and improved in terms of it, the game provided as it supposes to be and pushed the details of every part of the game much further. Even though, this game is not going to be the game of the year. This is the game of my year. Thank you, guerrilla, provides so much fun for me and the players. This is a must-buy ps5 game.… Expand

    Horizon has enchanted me again. After a slow start, a graphically beautiful, sophisticated sequel comes, polished in every aspect, and underscored by a great soundtrack on top of that. The sequel was simply a success. Everything that worked before works even slightly better now. [Issue#317]

    Horizon Forbidden West is Guerrilla's best game to date, taking Aloy to new heights with a blockbuster release that meets the high standards set by PlayStation in recent years. While it's totally worth fans jumping in on day one, it's perhaps better to wait a few weeks until all the bugs are ironed out.

    Horizon Forbidden West is exactly what everyone thought it would be: an amazing game. It has an open world with plenty of things to do and places to explore, fights against some really well-developed machines and stunning visuals. The feeling is that the second game of the series improves on what was already great, and it feels rewarding and fun to play. It is another single-player masterpiece from Sony.
