    This is not a bad game, there really is a lot of interesting things in it, for example, the exploration of locations or a fighter, but the game is not enough, it seems to be a very raw version of itself. It seems that in a more perfect sequel it will be possible to see exactly the game that was conceived. Economy sucks. Don't get me started on a level 9 quest teaching me how to do something when I was already level 29 with like 80% of the map explored. Then, I felt like the quests with the side kicks were kinda the same, with just a different background. Shame. I'm yet to find in me strength to finish the game.    … Expand

    Good game, enjoyable to play, requires no special effort or skill. definitely a must for the Harry potter fanbase. On a technical level graphics a bit retro and some glitches.

Clever puzzles do go a way to breaking that up and satisfying combat benefits from a varied but tame collection of spells, but with bugs and glitches preventing some areas of progress, Hogwarts Legacy brought the timeless atmosphere of the Wizarding World to life at the expense of its own identity.

    Игра сильно посредственная, сюжет - ужасен и не интересен, побочная линия заданий Себастьяна в разы лучше всей сюжетной линии. Если вы не большой фанат книг/фильмов, то игра покажется пустой и однообразной. Тащит тут только атмосфера и окружение, изредка интересные сражения на более позднем этапе игры.Игра сильно посредственная, сюжет - ужасен и не интересен, побочная линия заданий Себастьяна в разы лучше всей сюжетной линии.     Decent game. Good visuals with some bugs etc. Suffers from the usual open world issues. HP fans will like it.

    Good game. Bit weird all the hate that is coming for it, I am not really too sure why. RPG elements are light, need to do tasks for more inventory space etc (management is a bit of chore in that respect). Not bad for a first effort.

I'm ok wit the story about "ancient magic" and "the chosen one", i mean even kotor has similar themes, but everything else in storytelling aspect is really poor. These sidequests "collect this" or "bring this **** to me" are so dumb, characters are pretty shallow, eager to tel everything about themselfs because... because) Some gameplayI honestly don't get why this game has so much hype. I'm ok wit the story about "ancient magic" and "the chosen one", i mean even kotor has similar themes, but everything else in storytelling aspect is really poor.     The animation for facial expressions and text are lacking, and spells feel devalued after unlocking them all, with a clunky system for swapping between spells. However, it's satisfying picking an enemies own weapon up and smacking them in the face.

    There was huge potential in the game for choices in spells and gear to have an impact on the look and aura of your character, but unfortunately there's no upside or downside to casually casting dark spells as much as you want.

    The game is enjoyable to play if you can get past those foibles. The enrolling process is quite fun and gives the game a bright start which you can keep rolling with for quite a long time before other things start to annoy you.

    All in all it feels like unfulfilled potential, but not terrible.    … Expand

Low enemy variety, boring side-quests, 95% of which are just fetch quests, no random encounters that make the world feel lived in, way too many collectables, uninspiring puzzles (Merlin trial's are a pitiful excuse for puzzles). Main story is very contrived, you're supposed to care for a wizarding world your characterIf you're not a Harry Potter fan the game isn't all that great. No meaningful choices to be made within the story besides what house you enter, which dictates only 1 quest being different. No meaningful choice to be made as to whether you want to be good or bad, you're always going to be a mass murderer but hailed as a savior, classic ludonarrative dissonance. But I do admit running around in the world you saw in the movies all those years ago has something magical about it. But the game itself is a poor excuse for an RPG when compared to games with compelling stories like witcher 3, New Vegas etc.

    Hogwarts Legacy no hace nada diferente que haga cualquier otro juego de mundo abierto. Las secundarias no aportan nada ni merecen la pena sus recompensas, la exploración no está lo suficientemente valorada, al tercer encuentro con los monstruos ya te sabes todos sus patrones de ataques y son todos similares,... Por lo que le pongo el 7 a este juego es por la ambientación que crea, por losHogwarts Legacy no hace nada diferente que haga cualquier otro juego de mundo abierto. Las secundarias no aportan nada ni merecen la pena sus recompensas, la exploración no está lo suficientemente valorada, al tercer encuentro con los monstruos ya te sabes todos sus patrones de ataques y son todos similares,...     The padding in the story is really bad but the story is ok. I really enjoyed the combat, the other gameplay elements were also pretty good. I found it hard for me to go back to the game and finish quests because of the padding.

    The game is stunning visually but there was a few things that I can pick out that I didn't really like.

    Firstly, the visual bugs and crashing. There are many visual bugs, some quite funny and some not. Usually a pain regardless to deal with. The crashing for myself has been resolved since the update. Second, the combat. The system is entirely too basic. You can chain your spells in    The game is stunning visually but there was a few things that I can pick out that I didn't really like.

    Firstly, the visual bugs and crashing. There are many visual bugs, some quite funny and some not. Usually a pain regardless to deal with. The crashing for myself has been resolved since the update.

    Second, the combat. The system is entirely too basic. You can chain your spells in interesting ways but that's the only redeeming quality of it. When on level ground, spells I am firing at the enemy should not be hitting the floor before making contact with the enemy but it does. Enemies frequently get caught in foilage, bushes, doors, anything they can to make things harder for me.. My summary of the combat is that even a casual gamer could No-Hit-Run this game if they focused. it is actually that easy. Spell, spell, spell, yellow warning, block, spell, spell, red warning, dodge. You see how simple that is? Only people who will struggle are those that can't stop themselves from mashing the attack button which will stop their block or dodge. Incredibly easy.

    Next we have the missions. I was quite happy with the amount of missions we received but I do wish that the Main story and the Side Quests involving Sebastian, Natty and others were longer. They were way to short for my liking. Even more so the main story. It was really barebones, really basic, could have done a lot better imo. Ominus definitely should have had an arc too.

    Lastly, this is for those that want to 100% Completion their game. I genuinely feel that around 70% of your time on this game is exploring and collecting crap. It's tiring but easy.

    All in all I see this game being praised and people wanting it to be GotY. I question those people. This was a fun game, but it's nothing to brag about. There's nothing ground breaking, challenging or anything. Just very powerful nostalgia and simple fun.    … Expand

    Disappointed with this one. The gameplay is super fun but the world is just so boring after you’re in it for a couple hours. The main story is also complete garbage.

    This game obviously made me very nostalgic and I love how they recreated Hogwarts Castle.
    The story starts of pretty strong but really becomes rather boring after the first 15 hours and there is no real tension.

    Its not a bad game, but I feel like it needed a bit more work. But I love the art and the concept of this game! I loved Harry Potter since 2015 and still up to this day!

    The game is pretty enjoyable, especially at the end with all Forbidden Curses. The plot is also okay, still, I liked side quests more (lines of closest friends). A side quest with your shop is one of the best :) But I didn't like the open world at all, those magic trials are really annoying + the activities are boring. It is a good game overall

Tiene un buen aspecto de personalización de habilidades pero para mi gusto se desbloquea muy tarde en la aventura. En exploración es muy amplio hasta al punto de agobiar un poco. Lamentablemente no permite toma de decisiones como habían prometido. Solo se limita aEs un Buen juego. Tiene un trabajo de arte hermoso. El hecho de ser un mago que usa maldiciones imperdonables no afecta en nada al desarrollo del personaje. La música es muy buena. Las misiones secundarias son llamativas sin ser excelentes. Lamentablemente el tema de crafteo y housing es mediocre. Vale la pena Jugarlo? la respuesta es Si, si eres fan del mundo mágico lo disfrutarás mucho.     The most positive thing about the game is its gameplay, the battles are very good and fun and there are many types of magic. But the game has many disadvantages:

    The castle is huge but there isn't much to do in it, there isn't much to explore or discover [there are a few secret rooms with puzzle games but it doesn't feel like it adds much] the open world is beautiful but a bit redundant, you don't really know what to do with it except break into people's houses and take their Stuff.
    The story is not well structured, the plot and its flow do not make sense, on the one hand you learn basic magic in class and on the other hand you are the only one who can research the ancient magic and determine the future of the magic world...
    The side missions are not very interesting and repetitive.
    The character development is not deep enough, the game uses RPG elements with leveling up and equipment, but getting the equipment is completely random and does not depend on the size of the mission, even though the game deals a lot with good magic versus dark magic, it has no meaning for the character, you have the option to choose in the dialogues whether to be Good or bad character but it has no effect on the game and the type of magic you can use.
    The option of building the chamber of secrets is unnecessary, the option of the potions and planting the plants are unnecessary, and use the need to wait a real time until they were ready, which is a waste of time.    … Expand

    It was a very fun game with some interesting design choices. I'd still recommend the game for the combat alone. Serviceable story and likable cast.

    Yet another multiplatform game that holds better frame rate on Series X. IN just a few months: Dead Space, Witcher 3 and now Hogwarts runs better on XBOX. I think it's becoming clear that Series X is by far the better console. The game is okay, but it's kind of repetitive, and I'm shocked with how little there is to do to make it stay interesting.

    Hogwarts Legacy has a great character design and could have had a great story too but the story is not so strong. the gameplay feels great and exploration is so entertaining. visually its great and Hogwarts castle is so detailed.

    Hogwarts Legacy is definitely a beautiful-looking game that doesn't have a groundbreaking story, but does have a beautiful world, a fun combat system, broomstick flying, and of course an incredible amount of side quests and missions. [Issue#325]

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
