    Just come on, Rockstar, it feels like you put no effort into this game. Frame rate issues, bad physics, emotionless character face, horrible modelling, no option to add fog in San Andreas. Please put the original games back up so we don't have to play this new garbage.

    An absolute shame!!! Playing on my PS5 is a mess - in quality mode 30 fps and stuttering and in performance mode it’s still more stuttering and unplayable !!!

    An absolute disgrace, and a complete slap in the face to a huge and loyal fan base. After being foolish enough to pre-order, I was unable to even install it, only to have it removed from my Rockstar Launcher entirely, meaning it is not easy to refund. Players will have to go to Xsolla (the purchasing framework company) to get one. A waste of my time and money. Don't go near it.

    What is the point of me buying a game if they can't even publish it correctly... Hate to say it, but I really hope this destroys Rockstar's reputation, i will never forgive them for this.
    I should have listened to my gut when i was contemplating not pre-ordering it...

    A lot of bugs, models are awful, rain looks like salt, there is a lot of fps loss, scaling is awful too...
    I don't even want to talk about the aim, nothing changed.
    The weapons wheel like in GTA V is great, like for the radios
    Just wow, but don't buy it 60€/$ (every currency you want)
    Just don't buy it.
    Play to the og ones they way more better.

    The fall of a once great company! This ‘remaster’ is likely the worst set of games I have ever played. I must admit, I am sure there were a few people at Grove Street Games who wanted it to be a decent product but were rushed. I understand it can take a while to programme, but considering they took the physics code from the original game for an excuse to keep the ‘classic look and feel’.The fall of a once great company!     The best one is GTA 3, but San Andreas has lost all of its soul; weird graphics and rain effects, over-the-top draw distances, no working back lights at nighttime (first world problem, I understand), and no classic fog makes the map fell small and pathetic. How did Rockstar make the best game of all time, Red Dead Redemption 2 (although quite glitchy) to this?

    Truly unreal.

    This is what happens when you priorities money over delivering a quality product and hiring talent. A true embarrassment. Is Rockstar Games ran by 12 year olds? Heck, even they would do better than the grown adults at this rate. To quote Greta Thunberg, ‘All you care about is money’ can be applied to Take 2 and Rockstar. A disaster which is irredeemable.

    This it is for innovation. I hope you kept the originals, because they’re gone forever - a violation of game preservation! How about suing people who made mods to improve the game, and was once promoted by the game studios. Money, money, money, must be funny in a rich man’s world!

    As long as the CEO can pay for his six-figure car he won’t ever get the full power from, they do not care about the player.

    At least the developers of Mafia cared enough to create a good and worthy remake.

    Don’t even get me started on the Rockstar Game Launcher. 2,000 employees. What do they do all day?

    One can not be more than morally ashamed by the quality of these remasters. They deserve a respectful remake, not this garbage. I could go on and on about what this means for the game industry. i hope Rockstar get some talent in their studios or they are screwed. How is this a good business decision?    … Expand

    I'm sorry Rockstar, just asked sony for a refund. I know this is a remaster and not a remake but still... That's just where the problem starts: in 2021, after games like RDR2 or GTA V (not to mention other companies masterpieces), you can't just re-release games with old physics, old gameplay. These are straight instagram filter versions.

I played all 3 games now and San Andreas was the most unplayable one. Disgusting and frankly infantile behavior coming from TT and R* executives trying to squeeze every last dollar from existing franchises, the development of the actual game seeming to be something of an afterthought, and the pure, utterly utterly malicious treatment shown to the modding, and player communities ads up to a fetid and putrid cocktail of: ROCKSTAR IS DEAD. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GTA IS A CORPSE AND TAKE TWO HAS IT ON PUPPET STRINGS.

And I've only even been able to play the games once since purchase since Rockstar removed them from the storefront on PC, and their awful DRM keeps PC players from launching the games. But on to the actual gameplay. Everyone looks cross-eyed, everyone on VC looks like they're made out of plastic,This trilogy is disgusting. Can barely see smoke coming out of damaged vehicles. Street lamps and stoplights going from upright to laying on the ground in 1 frame after being hit by a car. The audio has not been remastered at all. I'm sure there are more problems, but those are the few I saw in my very short window to play the games before they got removed. I can forgive removed music tracks. I can forgive a few odd looking character models. I can forgive low quality audio. But I can't forgive them for the extent to which they have butchered this trilogy. It's a disgrace. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.… Expand

    Boycott Take Two & Rockstar, no excuses for this lazy ass cashgrab, do yourself some favor, get the original or pirate it, mod it, or if you want to play online there is SA-MP and MTA, it's even better than the strict FiveM servers or GTAO.

    Horrible optics for all studios involved. Rockstar has been on the decline for years, ever since they realized the insane cash grab potential of gta online, and became lazy and complacent. They simply don’t care. The enhanced gta v online will probably be trash as well.

    DO not buy unifinished bugged and has a lot of issues that the original didn't had plus they are emulating the game on unreal 4 and not running on unreal 4 it's just ridiculous of how bad it is and you can't even play because rockstar took down so the 60$ pound that you wasted are now gone and Frick you bro

    The price of this trilogy release is disgraceful. With everything cut from the game like iconic tracks. That was bad enough, but what do you get for your full price release... a game that is so full of bugs I am thinking of calling in the exterminators.

Optimization is horrible, FPS drops constantly even below than 30. Zero effort from noname developers. It looks like copy and paste the original source code to Unreal Engine.     It's obvious these developers have zero respect for the integrity of these games and what made them so great, it baffles me how they have stripped away everything from the trilogy. It genuinely upsets me how they have killed off the modding community, removed the original games, and put out something as bad as this- pathetic

    From the Definitive Edition of the iconic GTA titles emerged a technically unfinished remaster, which remained halfway. The content is and will always remain timeless, but the way to get to it and to enjoy it is simply not good.
