    Terrible. A total waste of my money. I would have rather played the OG versions which are completed, with better animations and no stupid bugs. I hope they fix it.

    F*ck rockstar, you guys ruined 3 amazing games. And f*cked over every modder out there that has been keeping these games fresh. This trilogy is now an abomination. Zero effort, Zero passion went into this. Seriously disappointing that rockstar went this low for some quick money.

    Jajaja, imaginate pagar 60 dolares por este horror de juego. Toda la esencia original de los juegos se ha perdido en este remaster, además de que quitaron las versiones originales en las tiendas digitales como Steam, la única forma actual de jugar a los GTA originales de manera legal será a través de este remaster, grande Rockstar.

    Jogo simplesmente lamentável... Muitos bugs, travamentos, quedas de FPS constantes, crash e vários outros problemas. É muito triste que a Rockstar tenha admitido um remaster horrível desses, e ainda cobrar preço cheio.

    This indecency sells for 60 euros and I can't get it back. Sony make a refund on your platform please. And Rockstar Games and 2K must publicly apologize to the players for such diarrhea that they poured on our favorite games. It would be better to make a remake or nothing at all. I don’t buy any more of their games.

    This game is so f horrible. Zero FPS, terrify graphic, worst model of NPC. In Russia, this game cost 5k rubles. This is so much for this bs.
    How do u guys make this? Child labour is prohibited. But how else to explain this ?!

    It sucks hard because cockstar just sell us nostalgia and it didn't even captured the good old gta sa and here's more, the **** character model is creepy as **** it is just pure nightmare the character faces is like glued together and they are just still no emotion at all.

    Everything they "remastered" is botched, there is no remedying quality.These are worsened ports of mobile title that are itself subpart. There was literally no quality check of AI upscaling. Yes they didn't even bother to check results, yet alone do it themselves.    I was quite hyped to play GTA 3 and introduce someone to older GTA but this games aren't worth 20$ for whole trilogy.

Yes they didn't even bother to check results, yet alone do it themselves. Textures are glitchy, misplaced and malformed, they have wrong bump maps, float in the air, and sometimes are worse quality than "original" (ie. mobile ones). Texture with text contains spelling errors, ruins jokes are illegible.
    Skeletons of characters are literal nightmare fuel, from Patrick Star, slender woman with giant breast, to people with to many bones in arm and back that looks like bow. There are problems with holding guns, they levitate, point in wrong direction at least they shoot. But what is worse than models? Faces of characters. Uncanny at best, terrible at worst. Particles are also botched, especially rain, again because of straight port from mobile with slightest QA. Lack of fog and view distance break immersion and textures while zooming are terrible anyway.

    Apart from plethora of visual glitches, there are gameplay bugs and literal downgrades compare to originals on PC/consoles. Optimization? It doesn't exist I believe, Switch version is unplayable, modern consoles/PC can hold it because of their sheer power. Power to play 15 year old game.

    Played both original VC and SA, while former's atmosphere is still there, barring bugs, the latter is completely lost this wasn't colourful, cartoon game but they made it looks so but in very unflattering way. It's lost it's charm.

    Top it with removal of originals from stores and lawsuits against modders that did waaay better job than Rockstar for free. It shows how **** Take-two is, on par with other infamous "leader" of this industry., think EA, Ubisoft. Rockstar seems like Bethesda or Blizzard, they used to make great games but have fallen in the gutter. Knowing Rockstar most of this bugs won't even be fixed and modders will be bullied so it's basically final state.    … Expand

The laughably bad attempt at porting them over isn't just disappointing, it's downright insulting. Not only did Take Two have the audacity to go after modders, they then also gave us a "definitive" edition with a myriad of bugs. The rain is the worst looking I have seenWhat a disaster. Same goes for the character models. The fingernails look painted on. It's just so bad.

    Go buy yourself the original titles on the PS2. That is the only definitive way to experience these games.    … Expand

You also removed old games from store and suid some mods to get removed because you know there are tons of mods are way better than what you did here.     When they announced GTA trilogy remaster I was 100% sure this will be on GTA 5 engine or something else as modern. I was sure we get realistic versions of same characters and improved mechanics. But no! They did same old thing with slightly changed models, neiro-upscaled textures and a ton of rotten censorship. In recent years I have been surprised to see the largest gamedev companies produce their masterpieces' remasters one after another, making them unbelievably bad as if all this time developers have not improved their skills, but degraded. So we got a gleeful remasters of AC3, WC3, D2R and a not-so-bad but dubious and lazy remaster of Mass Effect. Now this one arrived to to update game failure records.

    I want to give all the developers a good advice. You think the fans' love is endless and they will buy everything you make in any state. You're wrong. Your fans are not your fans, in fact they love ONLY quality.    … Expand

This so called definitive edition is one of the most pathetic remasters of all time, especially considering how amazing Rockstar used to be. They were the top. They were the best there ever was. This remaster is extremely ugly, buggy and has so many issues with character models, etc. They didnt improve almost anything. AI is worse than ever, no swimming for 3 and Vice City, no climbing ladders for San Andreas, no cover system, nothing new. Where are there quality of life improvements and *much more* that they promised in NewsWire article? And now they ask 60 dollar for this. Whoever worked on this have only slight experience in photoshop, thats it. They have no idea how to program new things. This is most amateurish product, billion dollar company has ever released. I absolutely dont care that Rockstar North didnt work on this. They hired the studio, they green lit it, they were okay to release it in state like this. Its all on them. Everything. Now Rockstar Launcher has been down over a day, i cant even play Red Dead Redemption 2, because it asks me to connect to internet and i cant do that, because launcher is down. This is ridiculous. They have milked GTA Online over 8 years and thats all they are capable of for now. Yes Red Dead 2 was great, but that was 4-5 years ago. Thats a long time. I have zero hope for GTA 6, absolutely none. I bet it will be with short story and extreme focus on online, i mean who know, maybe whole game will be just online, but im pretty sure they will design GTA 6 map, so it would mostly fit for online.     Rockstar Launcher has been down over 24 hours, i cannot play any of their games, because it wants me to connect to internet. This is not okay. Awful remaster by the way. Just awful.

    From the Definitive Edition of the iconic GTA titles emerged a technically unfinished remaster, which remained halfway. The content is and will always remain timeless, but the way to get to it and to enjoy it is simply not good.

    A textbook example of how not to remaster games from the PlayStation 2 era, these defective "definitive" releases are just desecration of three classic titles that deserve much better treatment.
