    The bones of the game are decent, but, not without issue. Lots of things could be improved. Instead, they have focused entirely on restricting our ability to earn in game currency.

    Why? Because of the absolutely greedy and predatory on-line store. It is next level crazy to be spending $200 on a single car in game. Can you earn them for free? Sure, if you are willing to sit through endless grinding of the same race over and over again, but be careful, people were doing that last week and the result this week? All those races have had their earnings reduced.

    They are using RNG, FOMO, Gacha, and mobile gaming levels of manipulation and pricing. It is disgusting.    … Expand

    Unacceptable behavior by Sony and Poliphony
    --- When servers are offline Can't play the $80 game on single player mode.
    ---Each Top end Legendary car will cost You $200 !!!.
    -- if you don't want to spend $200 you will need to grind for 300hours !!!

    a game that is being sold for 70 euros, which is supposed to be f2p.
    graphics are almost no different from gt sport, UI looks like im playing mobile game. the fact that I have to spend about 20 hours just repetitive riding the same track for 1! cars. Microtransactions, a lot of grinding - this is what you want to see in a game that you buy for 70 euros. There is nothing    DO NOT BUY THIS!

    Mandatory online connection for the single-player campaign means they can royally **** over the game and your access to it whenever they damn well please. And it gets way, way worse when you peel back the layers and discover just how much they've rigged this game to push microtransactions. But that online requirement means THEY decide how and when you can play the game, not you.

    This game is virtually unplayable for me as of Online DRM and everything you heard abput microtransactions. Disappointment of the year. I've waited for this game for a long time, the result is just... sad. So sad.

    the new patch broken the game feeling, i just want to relax to play video game, no want to work for Game credit. i feel GT 8 is no hope.

And they dont let us sell cars any more to make some money. Its greedy, disgusting and a betray to the customer! Its criminal! I will not pay a single cent for microtransactions and that will be the last Grand Tourismo game for me!     I’ve been looking forward to this game for years. YEARS. And I bought my PS5 for GT7 but after playing it I can agree with all of the other reviews in that the way this game has been built is impossible to win at and is no longer fun to play. When the server went down and I could no longer play the game? That’s not ok for a game of this price.

    It deserves the 0. Even the pleasant aspects of the game, such as the graphics and precious little else, are contaminated by this grubby microtransaction philosophy so as to make them unenjoyable. It's a game you would rather not turn on.

    Microtransaction in this game is scummy and it’s loosing players so fast I can imagine once there’s no one playing they’ll just shut down the server and you wouldn’t even be able to play a game that you pay full $60 for.

    I love this game but the crappy raffle system isn't at all fair as you'll 95 percent of the time get the smallest prize, and the recent update makes it even more of a grind fest. Further to that, you can't even play the game unless you're online on their servers... Please sort this out!

    What a slap in the face to gran turismo fans. The greed is overwhelming. 18.5 million credits for cars to complete collections for them to scale the payout for races. Disgraceful.

    No career and ridiculous prices for cars. How are you supposed to even make the money? The game is probably 8 hours worth and you won't make enough to afford any of the overpriced cars

    Shocking that we as consumers have to spend up to £160 (yes really!!!) to purchase a car in GT7 with microtransactions. This is absolutely shameful behaviour.

    You are basically forced to buy cars with real money. $70 ( game ) + $40 ( car 1 ) + $40 ( car 2) + $20 ( car 3)...etc. you could end up spending $500 after paying $70 for a a game. Also, THIS IS AN ONLINE ONLY GAME. You can't play without being online. Developer and Sony screw the gamers over by reducing the payout and increase the car cost. STAY AWAY FROM GT7 until they have fixed this.

    I had a plan in how I would finish the game one by one, first play trough the GT cafe than all Gold in the license test than all Gold in the missions than than finish 1st in all Event Races than all Gold in the Circuit Experiences and last a platinum trophy.
    After I finished all the steps except the Trophies, I checked what I need for the platinum Trophy and I realized that with update    I had a plan in how I would finish the game one by one, first play trough the GT cafe than all Gold in the license test than all Gold in the missions than than finish 1st in all Event Races than all Gold in the Circuit Experiences and last a platinum trophy.
    After I finished all the steps except the Trophies, I checked what I need for the platinum Trophy and I realized that with update 1.08 that made it harder to obtain platinum because I need to buy specific cars which are now harder to get and because they are so expensive.
    I lost my joy to play anymore, thanks PD for your greed for the monetization.
    I was joking to my wife that I spend so much more time with GT in total than with her in my life but it looks like every dream has come to an end.    … Expand

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
