The game is full of bugs and annoyances, they are HUGE and repelling.

I've been with the franchise from the very first beginning on PS1 and am a huge fan, but regretfully, my honest, but sad opinion is that this game is an Easter egg itself and a disappointment for the whole gaming world. It looks like a pathetic hasty twitch of PD to just pick the fruits of its legacy. I haven't read

I haven't read or heard any positive comment for the game (endorsements and paid marketing excluded).

They've managed to build a game that destroyed its own bequest and dispersed one of the biggest and most loyal fans community. Now we are left with nothing else to enjoy, apart for some PC sim racing outdated solutions. Very sad what it has come to...

    - FFB? It is non-existing at all since 1.15! Has anyone noticed that Circuit Experience on Tokyo Expressway is so unbearably impossible after 1.15 update, compared to before? Try it out again, if you have completed it before.

    - Silver prize in CE - what happened to it? Is it cursed or what? Why only gold and bronze?

    - why 15 laps/24 min. races instead of 24h? More competitive/strategic/historical endurance races with huge rewards would keep us pinned.

    - if the AI just barely touches you from behind or side, you immediately lose all control or spin out, even if you drive the truck and they drive the Mini! If you ram into them with full might, either from the side or behind, it is like you've hit the brick wall!? And that is what they call the real driving simulator!? Ahahaha. Maybe in some alternative universe...

    - there were so many lame bugs in the beginning, that it seemed they do not have a beta testing team at all! I created so many perfect Setting Sheets for so many cars, only to find out later they do not exist anymore!? Heeelloooo? Now I do not have a desire to do anything, it is like someone is sabotaging the whole project internally!

    - every AI always, but always tries to spin you out of track when you overtake them. They do not respect the blue flag at all, they even tend to block you not to lap them. Realistic sim driving for sure.

    - some very old games (for DOS/Windows 95), like Indy 500, Screamer, RBR, N4S Porsche have slightly better physics.

    - GT6, 5 and 4 were way more attractive, meaning this GT7 is just a graphics makeup of them, bringing nothing new except the tiresome Sports mode, non-functional multiplayer Lobby and useless and annoying offline mode, never-ever seen as such in the history of this world's gaming!

    - text speaking characters? Sarah reminding you to take a deep breath and try again?! So annoying and time consuming, that after seeing her, my only desire is to turn off the PS5 or play Mortal Kombat, if only it had the Sarah character to beat her up!

    - prices of most Legendary Cars are so unreasonably high, like it was meant not to have them. I cannot afford any new cars, just like in real life!

    - the purpose is micro transactions. What were they thinking? The naming is utterly wrong here! It should be renamed to Macro transactions, since you need to spend $200 to buy 20M credits in order to buy 1 legendary car! Hellooooo?! It should be forbidden by a UN charter of Human Rights. If you bought a game once, why should one pay more? Because management and development teams do not have enough imagination to create content interesting enough to intrigue you to play and play.

    - there is so much potential to implement many more interesting missions, historic races like 1000 Miglia, Monte Carlo races and rallies, the old Tour de France and many many more. But no, lack of imagination and ambition is what is more valuable or shall we say profitable.

    - some Gr.1 cars handle like a tart in cosmos hit by a meteor and AI drives them like blind drunk monkeys. Gr.3 and 4 cars being undrivable before the update to being more stable then Gr.2 cars after the update? If that was the case in real life there would be no racing in the world at all!

    - so much marketing noise about raytracing, where it only exists in demo cut-scenes and replays. It is basically the same as GT Sport or GT5 enhanced with 4K.

    - this game is not so much about racing, as it is a Pokémon of a game - collecting cars for a museum. It should have a slogan: Real Car-Collecting Museum! Why not connecting the earned/bought iconic car with unlocking a historic event where it shined/became famous?

I have so many cars (that I did not buy!) distracting me when changing cars, that I just give up on racing and just close the game. Why not implement an option which can be turned off/on that the last chosen view (when changing cars) should be remembered? It is just a dozen lines of code.

Does it deserve a 10/10 from me? Not really, the game isn't perfect by any means, I would say a 8.5/10. Why I'm giving it a 10 for now? to try to pump the user score a bit up because I bet most of the 0/10 scores here will not be updated ever again sadly...
But anyway, if ur reading this and is also playing the game, I hope u also have a good time playing it!
See you all on the track!

If you can't afford expensive cars in real life, you won't afford it in this game either. You already payed for the game then you have to spend a lot of real money that is even more expensive than the base game to get the cars you want. Earning them by grinding does not even net you much credits.

And it's not like they are wanting to make the cars feel valuable since you would have to do ~3 hours to just afford the cheaper of the racing cars, let alone one that costs many million, that's not making cars valuable, that's making them microtransaction.and the roulette system is basically useless, once in maybe every 20 or so tickets, I get something more thhe smallest money prize. Gameplay and graphics are fantastic and GT7 is an amazing game for racing game fans. The game offers multiple modes from singleplayer, casual and competitive multiplayer, as well as splitscreen races.

Players can purchase and earn new cars and there's a tuning system that enables upgrading and optical and performance tuning for all cars. Detailed car settings can also be tweaked and finetuned to adjust for different tracks and weather circumstances.

    Negative aspects:
Online requirement for the singleplayer part.

Cars are still much more expensive than previous GT games, but Sony and PD listened to players and will increase in-game rewards again. Microtransactions for a full price AAA game are not nice, but with more balanced rewards, cars should become affordable without purchasing MTX - some grinding is expected as it was the case in previous GT games.

I'm glad that they put tuning and customisation back and with that they bought me immediatly.
The only two things i would change are uneable to play in offline mode and when you are in world circuits arcade mode you cannot change a car without going to garage

Sony better give us a refund for this game because in spite of the new patch they're adding, it doesn't change the game in a meaningful way and I still can't believe that I spent my hard earned money on a game that is charging more money just to enjoy it. Consumers are not stupid.

The game itself isn’t a one. But the greed and the lies associated with this company cause it to deserve a one out of 10. It’s things like this which make the world a terrible place. Sucking the money in anyway they can and if anyone they can. And then lying about it when they’re caught.

The events dont provide any challenge as you always start at the back and are forced to work forwards, eequiring a car far faster than anyone else on the grid. Many cars that players love dearly, such as the McLaren F1 GTR are so expensive that some players may never play enough to afford even ONE of them. The low event payouts show just how hard Polyphony studios are pushing the use of microtransacrions to buy beloved cars.
The selection of all content pales in comparison compared to any of Gran Turismos competition. The online lobbies also offer nothing but a dirty, slow and somewhat broken experience with inconsistent penalties and punishment for the wrong drivers.

The game is not even close to being finished, with a lot of content, possibly intentionally held back, for whatever stupid reason the company can come up with.

You guys remember economy in past Gran Turismos? Where you could win more than once the same car in a championship? This time, you can still buy cars, but... can't sell them to make a quick buck to buy cars that you actually want.

Events? You at launch had about 20 hours of content. Gran Turismo 4 for example has over 300. And 5 months down the line, you still barely scratch 50 hours with the updates added.

10% of the entire car count is based on cars tuned from road cars by PD or fantasy cars that no car enthusiast cares about, some that borderline defy physic laws and destroy the entire concept of the VGT program itself.

Quality of Life on this game like navigating between races, lobbies, custom races? Forget about it...

This is a return to Gran Turismo origins? Not even close... The game at its core can be the best racing game ever made, and I say this with no exageration. But the design decisions ultimately destroy a legacy of a game once loved by the racing gaming community.

On top of all this. For you to enjoy the single player content, you have to always be online. If your internet has some sort of bad connection or you simply don't have it, the game is literally unplayable.

The game deserves all the hate its getting. It's an absolute shame.

Piece of garbage not a game - used to be a fantastic racing sim; times long gone; so called official reviews are simply bought…

Especially super nice is when it kicks you out mid-race IN SUNGLE PLAYER due to lost connection and you need to repeat the race.
