Exactly what a next gen game is supposed to be! Awesome graphics, badass combat (excuse my language), gorgeous visuals, intriguing story, and AMAZING use of the haptic feedback control that not enough developers utilize!

Really enjoying this game. The aesthetic is very colorful and stylish and really appeals to my eye. The enemy variety is top notch and the game is populated some very cool ghosts. Ignore every Russian review, they are not even allowed to play this game. Gaming companies have isolated them from rest of the world and for a good reason. This game is not even sold in Russia. If you are from Japan, Europe or USA, enjoy this game! It has nice graphics and fun boss fights. One of the more unique games from 2022.

There are some other, secondary elements to the game such as exploration to find more dogs, fighting ghosts off to protect the dogs, and cleansing shrines to unlock access to more of the city so you can feed and pet more dogs. I think there’s a storyline too but it didn’t have as many dogs in it so that’s probably an afterthought. If you are anything like me and looking to get back to Japan but unable to do so while the borders are locked up, this game does scratch a strange itch. Everything is oddly familiar without needing to be an exact branded replica and its the first time I have hoped for a Bethesda game to make its way to PSVR 2 when it releases.

If you are looking for a reasonably chilled, story driven treasure hunt of a game. Give this a go.

For me, as a fan of horror, especially Japanese horror, Japanese aesthetics this game is just something✨
I enjoy just walking around the beautiful streets of abandoned Tokyo, looking at thousands details, meeting familiar ghost stories and ghost tales, and enjoying the main story.
There’s no microtransactions, no lgbt/feminism agenda and no any kind of cancer of a game industry.
It’s a kind of a game which I really missed for many years. Around ~20 hours in the game so far, and I enjoy every second of it.

I understand, that this game will not sell good.
I understand, that it’s easy to criticise that game.
But also I understand that I will get back to this paranormal world again. And again. That game means a world to me.

And will stay forever in my heart.

    I love you, Tango Gameworks.
Thank for getting me out of depression.
And thank you for making me not to lose interest in videogames even during such hard times as now.

Please, don’t stop making such unique projects. We really need it.

KK and Akito are an amazing buddy cop type of duo and it is so enjoyable following them. The open world has a very unique atmosphere and is very unique in it's visual identity. The exploration is so fun to just mess around in. The side quests honestly out shadow the main quests most of the time. Main quests are still well done most of the time. The combat is enjoyable and fast paced. Kind of like an FPS but with magic. The progression is straightforward and fun. Looks and runs well enough. Audio design is solid.

    Bad-
The actual stuff in the open world outside of quests is just another checklist open world game. The voice acting and dialogue can be a bit cringy (I did play with english voices tho). While the visuals are okay, it doesn't look like a PS5 exclusive type game in terms of graphics. The combat, while fun, does get repetitive at times

    Thoughts-
While it falls prey to many trappings of modern open world games, Ghostwire: Tokyo does so much in such a uniquely distinct way that it still stays with you. Though it’s formulaic and relies on certain design tropes, the veneer wrapped around all of that still makes it feel like a very unique experience. In a few months from now, when I think back on Ghostwire: Tokyo, that it has a “clear the map” open world probably won’t be the thing that sticks with me- it will be how unique its tone and atmosphere are, how fun its combat it is, how eerie and psychedelic the experience feels, or how strangely affecting its quests could often be. And ultimately, that uniqueness is its biggest asset, even when it is paradoxically at odds with so much of its design being straightforward and mundane.

Coming off of my 90 hour Elden Ring binge my bar was really high so it was only expected to be a little disappointed. I’ll start with the bad first. Cons
    - Quality mode is nearly unplayable. Well under 30 fps at the highest setting which is disappointing for a PS5 title in 22 when games like Horizon Forbidden West and Ratchet and clank still manage the 30 on highest settings. However like all those titles Performance mode runs at a stable 60 fps

    - Confusing map. The developers definitely took a page out of Ubisofts book and created a map littered with icons that remove a good chunk of natural exploration which is unfortunate. Worse off however is the fact that the map lacks any level of layers for elevation making determining where some objectives like finding Yokai in the world frustrating. At the 6 hour mark your map will be more icons than map. Graphical issues. The game suffers from heavy pop in which is usually expected in open world games however when a character you’ve seen in a cutscene is out of frame momentarily only to show up again and have to load all their textures it can be quiet jarring. Pros. World. Getting to explore the greater Shibuya area is fantastic. Narrow alley ways give way to hidden shrines and enemy encounters. Climbing to the tallest buildings in the area reward you will sweeping visitas giving you a chance not only to breath but to look at the next place of interest you feel like poking around in. At first the semi linear nature of the map was worrying but it quickly opens up as you explore more of the area and cleanse more shrines therefore opening up even more areas of exploration. I constantly find myself getting distracted from main objectives because I see the hint of something else just around the corner. Its a world that is easy to get lost in which can be rare in most open world games that give you a cookie cutter map to explore filled with procedurally generated terrain. Combat. If you’ve ever wanted to roleplay a Japanese teenager role playing Dr strange this is the game for you. The more powers and tools you unlike you begin to play a dance with the enemies flipping through powers like guns in a Doom shooter. Enemies provide a good challenge without being overwhelming which is a testament to the team at Bethesda for creating wonderful difficulty selections. My one gripe is there is a lack of a dodge button. A simple side step would have added a much needed level of movement to a slightly stiff system. Graphics. I know this was also in the cons list, but at times this game is a visual masterpiece. The neon of Tokyo and the mystical powers you get are extremely flashy and only get more impressive the better you get with them. Overall it’s a fun game. I went in looking for Japanese legends and myths in an action horror environment and it delivers just that even with its flaws. If you’re unsure of if you want to play it, wait for a sale, if you are craving a break from Elden Ring and want a slightly more casual romp through an open world Tokyo absolutely give this game a shot.

Story narration and supernatural events are driving this game but the combat system does not hold up, same goes to the tedious trophy progression and the clustered open world objectives.

The visuals are mostly great but at times the framerate dips even in performance mode and especially facial animations as well as hair are at times so bad that it cuts heavily to the overall quality of the game. The love to Tokyos detail is amazing and I would love to actually see this open world being used in a different game where it starts to live because it shows the passion the creators put in it.

Overall I felt very torn on Ghostwire Tokyo. The atmosphere is amazing and I did enjoy my time but at the same time I felt bored because the gameplay is just not really great, maybe could be considered good. I do respect the approach the creators went for. Personally I would ve liked a bit more enemy variety and some quality of life improvements to the open world itself. Skill variety does not have to be overloaded but it is too flatlined to keep you interested. If you do like japanese culture, tokyo and supernatural stuff the game probably will satisfy you. If you are looking for an action or great open world game you probably will be disappointed. I would recommend to grab the game on a discount for maybe around 50 bucks. Full price does not seem to fit well in my personal opinion.

The art design is phenomenal. I've never seen such an authentic recreation of Tokyo in a game. I felt like I was there. The convenience stores, bathhouses, the buildings, the way businesses stack on top of each other... it's incredibly impressive. And this extends to the monster design and animations as well. It all looks very impressive. However, I had to switch it to performance mode as it was a bit jarring in the pre selected quality mode. I needed the higher framerate.

The combat is fun but a lot of that is down to the incredible looking animations. Typically fights involve me backing away and pressing R2 to shoot my finger guns. It's a little too basic. You have a bow and talismans but ammo for each is rarer so odds are you're just going to shoot your finger guns for most of the game... it gets kind of old around the midway point but I never dreaded combat though so that's a plus. The bosses mostly sucked though... like you end up in a very cool arena with an amazing looking monster but... then I just end up shooting at them like any old enemy. They were kind of boring to fight.

I enjoyed a lot of the sidequests. I loved how they dived into different urban legends or aspects of Japanese culture. I think they could have used a few more unique fights at the end though.

The open world design is probably the weakest aspect. The map is just littered with collectibles. There's no real incentive to explore. The trophy list was kind of offputting as well. I initially figured I'd go for the platinum but later realized it would be too much of a hassle. Collect 240,000 spirits, get 20 headshots with a bow, find all of the many many collectibles etc... it just felt like a lot of busywork.

Overall a really interesting game and a fun one overall but at the same time kind of a letdown. Hopefully the next game from tango is better.

Solid game that's best played in PS5 due to better FPS, haptic feedback (Xbox has none), better graphics, better resolution, better everything!!! The additional content that came a year after release isn't that great though. Curious as to why it took so long to release, but it's just okay.

Great graphics, great story, surprising plot twists I didn't see coming. The combat is so fun and addictive. The banter between the characters was great. I found myself doing all the side quests and finding collectables, which is a sure sign I genuinely enjoyed the game. Really loved Akito and his story. The end was surprisingly moving. Loved it!

The gameplay mechanics are very unique and the most important part of the game - city of Tokyo itself is super well detailed and VERY atmospheric. Everyone in Tokyo is dead, there are spirits around this open world that you free by completing optional side activities that also help level you up much quicker in the game… and crawling around this empty city are these creepy demon enemies that you have to blast with your supernatural powers and pull their cores out with your bear hands or with some sort of……. Ghostwire.. .if you stick to the main campaign theres nothing special here… infact the game would be pretty mediocre if you don’t expore its world.. thankfully youll want to… clearing these corrupted trees in your way, clensing these gates to unlock fast ravel points and clear fog to open up the world more… doing some great and also some rigiuclous sidequests which can really immerse you into this world… these are the best moments of ghostwire Tokyo.. immersing yourself into the side activities.. its just a shame youll so quickly grow tired of this world, youll get used to the spooky monsters, the sidequests will start to feel unnecessary.. the skill tree leaves a lot to be desired so youll stop caring about rescuing souls once you’ve unlocked every ability you care about… so youll probably find yourself like me abou halfway through the game jut sticking to the main quests.. which are good.. but nothing to blow you away… ghostwir Tokyo is fun through.. the combat is tense, youll be juggling through abilities, sneaking up behind enemies trying not to alarm the others… I loved my time spent in this creepy world… my only gripe with conmbat though is this skin crawling nails on chalkboard feeling when you run out of one of the 3 energies and have to switch to another.. I hate it and wish the game would just switch to the next automatically when youre out of one of them… as you do have to destroy glowing items in the environment to refill ammo or pull the cores out of enemies…
Overall this is a decently enjoyable action horror game, its unique.. its memorable…
Worth hopping into even if it slowly goes from wow this game is amazing to.. that game was pretty good..
    I give Ghostwire Tokyo
    a 7.5/10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So i came across this review to this game:

"Boring and repetitive combat, empty city which is uninteresting to explore, annoying platformer elements, waste of your time and money."

And I laughed. Let me pick this apart and add my two cents.

    "Boring and repetitive combat"?

All combat in every game gets repetitive after so many hours. It's simplistic if anything, but in no way a bad thing. You have three magic attacks, four types of talismans and a bow and arrow. Combat is smooth and works well.

"Empty city, which is uninteresting to explore"?

Not sure what this person means by this. The game world is modeled after the actual ward of Shibuya in Tokyo. The actual game word is more or less identical to the real place. If they mean empty as in no human NPC's, then they missed the point of the game considering everyone in the city has vanished. It's part of the story.

    "Annoying platformer elements"?

When? You can jump from rooftop to rooftop, but that's hardly platforming. There's no "pits" what you'd find in platformer games. Ignorant statement.

"Waste of your time and money"?

    Hardly.

Why did I give this game an 8?. It's very good game worth your time, for sure. But like all games, I did have my gripes with it at points. For one; too many collectibles; spirits, tanuki, investigation notes, voice logs, music, attire, Jizo statues, magatama. Sure, I 100%d the game, but sometimes too many collectibles can be a bit overwhelming. The good thing is, is that they're not TOO hard to find.

The ghost enemies that wear sheets. Worst enemies in the game by far. A huge hinderence a lot of the time.

Some side quests are a bit bland, some just being fetch quest, but every game suffers with these more or less.

No true replayability. For me, a story driven game like this is a kind of one and done kind of deal. For a long while anyway. Once you finish the game, there's is really no reason to instantly play it again like you would games like Resident Evil or Evil Within to unlock more gear. I may replay it again, but not for a long while, but with this big update coming, it may draw me back even sooner to see all the extra content.

Despite the mild cons, I found myself really enjoying this game. The story is great, the game itself not too long (You can probably finish it in about 5 hours if you just do the story without doing the side stuff).

Enemies have good designs, some of which are based on actual Japanese folklore. Sure, some are kind of re-skinned, but still look different from the other enemies in the same group. Again, most games do this, so that's forgivable.

Characters are good, none of which are annoying, though the banter with the two main characters can be a bit repetitive, but yet again, forgivable.

Overall great game and as it's now on PS+ and about to be put on Game Pass, you should definitely give this game a go. If you are interested in Japanese folklore and mythology, then this game is definitely for you.

It was hard to get used to at first, and I had to HEAVILY tweak the controller sensitivity settings. By the end though, I was genuinely sad it was over despite almost 100% completion. The story, lore, side quests, and characters are engaging and the combat is epic once you get the hang of it. Bonus points: At the late stages of the game you feel like a fricken super hero.

Ghostwire Tokyo was a game I was always cautiously optimistic about, from Tango's soft reveal to only snippits of gameplay at various shows I was always hopeful I would like this game, but couldn't be sure until I played it. Well after finishing the game last night... I can say without a doubt it's one of my favorite games I've played in years.

Ghostwire tells a fantastic narrative of a crazy villain who's trying to merge the realms of life and death together into one. Throwing you into a strong story from the beginning, you quickly develop an attachment to your main characters Akito and KK who carry the plot through many twists and turns. The main story by itself is fantastic, but the developers made it even better with one of the most rewarding side quest systems I've ever played in my life. Playing these tales of hunting Yokai, helping spirits move on, and solving mysteries adds a whole new depth to the game where you feel like a spirit detective of sorts as you explore the vast city with your partner. This adds a whole layer to the story that compliments this main narrative perfectly because you're not just a guy on a mission to help yourself, but to help everyone else around you both alive and dead. This also adds more life to a world that's otherwise desolate and makes you feel a little less alone.

Everything in this game is additive and is sincerely fun to play. Hunting for hidden Tanuki, chasing Rokurokubi, leaving cucumbers for Kappa are all just a few examples of fun things that pop up along the way, but the game also rewards you for doing them. Every side quest carries a story with it and a handful of rewards, every collectable can be sold and displayed (with adorable Nekomata shopkeepers no less), and the database in your menu is fun to read because it's filled with history and culture lessons. The developers so quickly went out of their way to ensure everything in this game was made with purpose; no needless grinding, mindless fetch-quests, or anything that feels like a slog to do. Every time a quest pops up or there's a new thing to find you get excited, and it's so rare that games give you that feeling.

To top it off the gameplay is an absolute delight. Combat always feels fun and fulfilling, each battle provides you with plenty of freedom to fight as you want to, and you never seem to feel punished or treated unfairly. Every enemy has their own level of fun and strategy and every boss is a fun challenge to take down. Mix that in with fun city traversal, beautiful sights to see with gorgeous next-gen visuals, and not a single glitch experience in the entire game and I can honestly say there was never a single moment I didn't have fun.

All of these factors separately alone make for a great game, but bringing them all together really pulls this experience to being a masterpiece. Every action leads to something meaningful and fun - A compelling narrative only enhanced by a quest system that adds a whole layer of depth to the game, tons of yokai that you encounter and gain an appreciation for, finding tanuki and dogs, and collectables with purpose are all things that are both fun to do and things you are rewarded for, in terms of both gameplay and story value. There isn't a single missed opportunity, not a single menu wasted - Just fun and enjoyment everywhere you look at any given time.

I can honestly say that in my opinion, Ghostwire Tokyo is a perfect game. Everything being so additive and well thought out shows this was a passion of love and creativity and a desire to make something great. I was excited to come home and play every day, to spend every second of my time off in this world, and to continue this phenomenal journey that even caused me to teared me up during the incredible finale of the story. This will not only contend for being my favorite PS5 game, or my Game of the Year, but may be quite possibly one of my favorite games of all time. I've loved every second of this masterpiece, and even after I proudly add the Platinum trophy to my ever-growing list, I have no doubt I'll miss my time with this experience greatly. PS5, PC, Series X - Whenever and wherever you can play it, Ghostwire Tokyo will always be amongst my highest recommendations to anyone who can play it. This really is something incredible, and I promise you don't want to miss it.

First time when I saw Ghostwire: Tokyo gameplay I was intrigued. The game looked fun to play and interesting overall. I finally played the game through and I did like it, although, it was kinda short Tokyo ride.

STORY, GAMEPLAY, CONTROLS, GRAPHICS AND DIFFICULTY
Ghostwire: Tokyo tells a story of how nearly all of Tokyo’s citizens have vanished mysteriously and Yokai (known as Visitors) have invaded the city. Akito, the game’s protagonist, is possessed and saved by a spirit detective named KK. He encounters a group wearing Hannya masks who may unveil the mystery behind the strange events in Tokyo, one of which is the kidnapping of Akito’s sister. He goes after them to save his sister.

The story overall was good and the pacing and storytelling was fast enough to keep me interested all the way.

The gameplay was nicely made. Akito uses his weaving powers to shoot the enemies and when their core is visible he can rip it out. Only negative thing I found, was how the aiming was little bit difficult, but I got used to it. I also did lots of side missions, which were different each time and they filled the game nicely.

Graphically Ghostwire: Tokyo looked nice, but there was lots of pop-ins, which didn’t bother me much, but it was very noticeable. All the enemies were designed well and so were the enviroment. Only bad thing was how the areas looked very much the same and it was hard to tell where I was. The map was good in this situation. All the areas weren’t available in the beginning, because the city was covered with odd fog that kills if entered. Only thing to clean this was to find Torii gates and clean the area. Mostly the Torii gates were covered with enemies, so opening the areas was sometimes hard to do.

The boss battles were one of the best thing of the game. They were different each time and the bosses had to be beaten with certain way. Not shooting them with all your might was the answer.

Doing the side missions and main missions didn’t give enough exp. points, but collecting souls was the answer. By collecting them I got enough exp. to upgrade my weapons and skills. The whole skill-tree was rather simple. I liked it that way so making the gameplay was much easier.

Ghostwire: Tokyo was sometimes very demanding. The amount of ammunition player has was limited and shooting enemies should me exact. I found myself many times out of ammunition and scarping by I could kill the enemies. Some enemies were very aggressive and fast. I did find this game to be rather demanding at times.

    FINAL THOUGHTS
Ghostwire: Tokyo is very good game with some new twist. It took me about 11 hours to finish this and it was satisfying to play. The game was full of Japanese folklore, which I found to be interesting and instructive.

Spider-Man.

The best title I've seen to this is it's a "paranormal love letter to Tokyo". This game is love it or hate it depending on how you approach this game. If you look at this as a first-person shooter type thing you'll hate it. The trailer doesn't well enough depict what this game is. If you look at this as an exploration based action horror with stealth aspects you'll love it. It's veryThe best title I've seen to this is it's a "paranormal love letter to Tokyo". The trailer doesn't well enough depict what this game is. If you look at this as an exploration based action horror with stealth aspects you'll love it. It's very Japanese and thankfully doesn't feel "toned for the west" if you know what I mean.

If you've been to Tokyo it will give you a feeling of nostalgia because of how accurate the world is. The story and world are built to pull you in and the game heavily rewards you for exploration. It can feel repetitive but I had fun the whole time. You'll find the city as accurate as you would New York in Spiderman games. Except with a twist, which ends up being funny like the Shibuya 429 building.

The game is a bit challenging but not too much. I died a few times but not enough to frustrate me and not because of any issues with the game. The aiming is a bit garbage on the PS5 but you get used to it. If you're used to console FPS games it will infuriate you because it's just not built to be that. The game mechanics feel as though they were made to build up panic and anxiety which is perfect for a horror game. It actually makes you feel like there's risk and it helps. The difficulty goes up and down so it keeps you on your toes.

The enemies and story are very much built into Japanese lore and you'll meet various horror entities, demons, and ghosts from Japanese mythology. Sadly many of them will repeat and enemy variance isn't big. If you're American you might not like this game simply because nothing is familiar about it. If you've watched anime or Japanese horror you will love this because it touches on a little of everything. You'll fight all kinds of Yokai that might be directly pulled from myth or have very close similarities. The non enemy Yokai are literally pulled from myth like Kappa, Ittan-momen, Kodama, and the best are the Tanuki. You'll see why. Nekomatas run the shops and they are adorable.

You can pet the dog! You can pet the cat, sometimes! The people who made this game genuinely love animals. Just go pet an animal in the game and feel your heart melt. Just don't read their minds unless you want your heart crushed. They do not pull punches when it comes to "how would an animal feel if people vanished".

This game is unique and the combat is incredibly interesting. Traversing the city can be easy or difficult depending on what and when you upgrade and collecting things is quite a bit of fun. I never felt bored playing this and it kept pulling me in to do exploration or side missions. This is one of the few games where I felt side missions were rewarding. If not for what you get, for the added lore.

The game does have a couple of bugs with an audio issue but nothing breaking. Performance isn't great on some of the modes depending on where you are in the game. They do give you a lot of visual/performance modes to try though. On top of Shibuya station looking at the city can really lag your PS5 but other than that it performs pretty well on performance mode and still looks great.

In a world of Resident Evil and other survival horror games it's great to play an original horror game that isn't about punishing you or scaring you but pulling you into a world to explore with a generally creepy vibe. You can tell this was made with feeling and by people who really understand Japanese horror.

So I loved this game - but only gave it an 8/10. I have lived for many years not far from Shibuya, and have spent many years prior to that travelling to Tokyo. I have lived for many years not far from Shibuya, and have spent many years prior to that travelling to Tokyo. The one thing I wanted was a game to give me the open world experience of Tokyo. I can 100% guarantee that GhostWire gives a very specific feel for Shibuya... admittedly without people. Still, I loved exploring and searching. Even without people - which is a downer. The downsides are the mechanics - and for me, it was the controller mechanics - I would often press the right combination of buttons, but it would suddenly disconnect (the more I played, the more this was an issue). That could be a Sony thing, but if so, QA should have addressed it in their prep-phase. I know a lot of people are down on the lack of variety of foes - and that's fair... what i don't understand is why they hid a lot of different enemies behind random (side-quest) encounters. Just silly IMHO. The game is not hard, but I think some of the resourcing decisions (on ammo) are just wishful thinking - I never once found water (shot-gun) ammo to be that useful, yet there's a crap tonne of that compared to fire elemental ammo. I also wished they had some more different areas - I know how samey Tokyo can be, but the design decisions meant they were constrained to the most grey looking version. As I said - I loved it, but if you don't know the area you might be thinking this is a lot of the same.

Edit - I would also say that there are some Control-level cinematics here that are well worth the price of admission. The problem is - a lot of people bee-lined the game, and they didn't see as much as they should have. Also, it helps if you know your Japanese folk-lore.

an interesting and very unusual gaming experience for a long time. beautiful, dynamic gameplay with interesting mechanics and visual performance. Enemies on hard difficulty are breathtaking. I wish creative success to the developers and I want to say thank you for an interesting game. Looking forward to your next projects :)

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Cool setting, but at the last 1/3 of the game the chapters are rushing , last 10 hours you play charpter 1-4 and from hour 10-12 you pass 3 charpters thats way to unbalanced. Also its (aspeccially in the end) very emotional but theres no relatible bond to his sister so I cant relate with him.
Overall cool game but too rushed

Best game I have ever played. An extraordinary story and extremely catchy gameplay that will keep you stuck to your console. Absolutely fun and mesmerizing - and that is coming from someone who has played over 100 Playstation games.

One of the more interesting games to come out this gen. Cool setting. Nice visuals. Cool premise. Gameplay is pretty good. Reminds of like a slower paced DOOM but flashier and cooler. Real only complaint to this game is that the story felt rushed and not executed well. Last bit was so quick and the final boss was disappointing. Another side story you can find is from the doll that grows human hair which name is Okiku Aka "The Haunted Doll of Hokkaido." Another reference to an urban legend is Hanako of the toilet which you find her knife as a collectible. The game in general has a lot of stuff in it hidden and waiting to be found, i really recommend this game to people that love Japanese Culture and Urban Legends! I don't want to say any more because i may spoil it by accident so there you go. Expand

I totally get the sentiment of this game being a love letter to Japan. Its steeped in Japanese folklore and a rich recreation of the the locale its based on (AS far as I can tell, considering I've not been there in person.)

An excellent game! First things first: make sure you remove the “dead zone” on the joysticks in the settings to make it more responsive.

Ghostwire has some awesome elements in, great gameplay and mechanics, very good free roam with lots to collect, lots to upgrade, a crazy and interesting story and a beautiful city to explore! You can even pet and feed the dogs! Don’t miss out on this

One's feelings about the game start with "oh my God, what did I buy", move on to "hey, it's not all bad - let's destroy one more tree", only to realize in the end that you're actually doing the same thing over and over again and that you could spend your time in a more entertaining way. Ghostwire: Tokyo is an interesting new mix of horror 'shooter' with excellent enemy design and aesthetics, but relies strongly on its eastern thematic to stay interesting past a certain playtime. However, despite the repetition, it does it's best to offer enough to keep players invested and interested enough with its variety and story, especially if you have even a slight interest in Japan or its vast mythology.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a memorable journey that never overstays its welcome. With a unique combat system and plenty of options for exploration, it makes an admirable effort to keep players engaged even after the credits roll.
