    A game that no fan expected becomes a wonderful surprise. Focused much more on the action but with an easy-to-learn combat, it scales as the game progresses, and the epic story keeps you inside the game like no other has ever done and demonstrates how the narrative in games can be as or more exciting in games than in any other media.

    Uno de los mejores juegos de la saga sin duda, entra en el top 3 mejores bandas sonoras de la historia de Final Fantasy, el combate es un sueño, sin caídas de FPS por muchos enemigos que haya.     Finished 60% of the game so far.

    It's safe to say that at least in terms of story and boss battles this has become my favourite Final Fantasy title if not RPG in general. Yes, it's not perfect. Sidequests are bad. Albeit they get better over time. And it's a shame this game is so easy even without the timely accessories. They give you such a fun battle system and tools to play around    Finished 60% of the game so far.

    Yes, it's not perfect. Sidequests are bad. Albeit they get better over time. And it's a shame this game is so easy even without the timely accessories. They give you such a fun battle system and tools to play around with, but no challenges to overcome. I wish we had the option to start on the harder New Game+ mode at the beginning. But even with it's faults, this has to be one of the most exciting games I have ever played. The Eikon battles are insane. I just finished Fire in the Sky and it's the most Holy **** moment in gaming for me.    … Expand

    Good story, great character development, good designs, good graphics frame rate is not a stable 60 but you can turn off motion blur now and great combat. Would highly recommend, definitely game of the year. This game also got review bombed the 0's are unrealistic they're spammed by people that don't like the series so read the real reviews if you're curious on buying it

    The hype is real. This is easily the my goty. 10/10 in story gameplay graphics and music. Finally an FF game thats a must play after a couple of averages releases. Thank you sqaure-enix for giving us another masterpiece.

Can’t give this a full 10 due to some issues with performance mode and slight dip in graphics since FFXV. I do think horizon zero dawn has one of the best artistic styles and graphics out their so maybe they need to look into doing something like that. However, gameplay story so far and overall feel is fanatastic. Seeing the summons in action like this brings back so many memories but also brings new feelings to the forefront. Love this game so far. Thank you for combining my two favourite ps2 games final fantasy x and devil may cry to make this beauty.… Expand

    Everything in this game is fabulous, story, music, graphics and the world. The Eikons' battles are epic and the gameplay with the diversity of possible attack combinations make the experience even more fun. I'm around 20 hours into the campaign and I already consider this one of the best Final Fantasy titles I've played!     Yes you can enjoy both FF 16 , Diablo 4 and Zelda ,they are all awesome games in their own right . This game is awesome , it is worth every penny and the developers spent countless hours of sweat and hard work for our enjoyment.

    I haven't beaten the game yet. So far, the story has been so twisting. With the BGM going, I cried so many times. I will rate story as 10/10. Soken sann and the rest of the music team have done a fantastic job creating so many great BGMs. Either it's the soothing BGM echoing in the hideout hall, or it's the thrilling boss fight music, every piece has been produced with the highestI haven't beaten the game yet. So far, the story has been so twisting. With the BGM going, I cried so many times. I will rate story as 10/10. Soken sann and the rest of the music team have done a fantastic job creating so many great BGMs. Either it's the soothing BGM echoing in the hideout hall, or it's the thrilling boss fight music, every piece has been produced with the highest standard. Battle system is another highlight of the game. It's fast, and various. Swapping among Ekion's abilities is at ease. Various bosses use so many different mechanics trying to take down Clive. It's also so cute to use Torgal (Clive's pet) as Clive's co-healer. The cinematic performance is also great. Wirth the power of PS5, characters could show their subtle expressions, and voice actor/actress also have done an amazing job depicting the emotions of various characters. There are quite many side quests which FF14 players are not unfamiliar with. The compendium shows ins and outs of the world of the game. Overall speaking, FF16 is an action RPG which boasts a great story, great music, fantastic battle system, and great acting performance. I'm a huge FF fan, and I understand that every FF mainline game is unique, luckily, besides the traditional RPG, I'm also an action game fan (especially DMC series). I highly recommend every FF fan to try FF16. There is no game which is completely perfect, but those things (mentioned above) 16 delivers are all top-notch.… Expand

    I started my final fantasy journey in ff7 remake so i may not be as incline if a final fantasy nerd as someone who has played them all or more than me but what i can say is im in LOVE with this game! The story, the combat, the care that was put in to every inch of this game by the developers show’s immensely! I have never played a game with boss battles of this scale!     Ignore the negative reviews. This is the best game I've played so far this year outside of the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker patches. Yoshi P and the FFXVI team hit this out of the park. Gorgeous graphics. Breathtaking views. Emotional, heart pounding story. I've had to stop more than once and reflect because I've gotten emotionally overwhelmed. Buy it. Experience Valisthea. If you're a fan of the series for the stories and characters, you won't go wrong here, and if you've avoided the series for, say, turn-based combat, the sixteenth installment offers the perfect opportunity to get started with this legend of the gaming industry.     New numbered FFs are good again. Stunning to look at, with new, punchy combat, and a great yarn, it is, if anything, too focussed, lacking a bit of the weird. [Issue#30, p.78]
