    This game has a critical bug, introduced in one of the updates: enemies and "amigos" are always visible through walls, as red or blue shapes, even with all hud and enemy tagging options disabled. This issue, that makes the game absolutely unplayable, is happening for months and Ubisoft just don't fix it.     if u wanna waist £20 buy this thing. omg what a piece of crap. dunno who created that garbage. used play all, 1 brilliant, 2 magic, 3 epic, 4 alright, 5 really enjoy...6...wtf. everything is totally bad. cant even bother to type about details. thats me, no more F, shame U. the end

    One of the worst games I've played this year. Oversaturated and under developed. Suffers a serious case of pop in, awful enemy ai, and a gameplay system that holds your hand every step of the way. Even on the (1) harder difficulty it offers. You can't even turn off the ridiculous x-ray vision for enemies. I paid $20 for this and still feel ripped off. Also HDR is broken if that's somethingOne of the worst games I've played this year.     Is it fair that people are review-bombing this game because of its politically charged content? No. Is it fair that they're review-bombing it because it's a broken mess that shouldn't have been released for another 6 months and yet it's still getting 75-80% from paid-off reviewers? Ab-so-lutely. 0/10

    Hands down the worst FarCry so far.: beside the fact that it's just a re-skin of the last 3 episodes sold as a new game (same mechanics, same flaws), the main issue with this chapter is the plot.
    The weary clichè of the tropical island with the "evil" dictator vs the "good" cuban-ish revolutionaries is uninspired enough to make it annoying, but what it really made me hate this game is the    Hands down the worst FarCry so far.: beside the fact that it's just a re-skin of the last 3 episodes sold as a new game (same mechanics, same flaws), the main issue with this chapter is the plot.
    The weary clichè of the tropical island with the "evil" dictator vs the "good" cuban-ish revolutionaries is uninspired enough to make it annoying, but what it really made me hate this game is the woke BS that the writers tried to force down my throat: every single supposedly "positive" character in this game is a pretentious hipster that not only I not care about, but I wish failure to.
    Never in my life as a videogamer I gravitated towards the villain as I did in FarCry6: Anton Castillo doesn't seem better nor worse than his antagonists in any aspect, but at least he's not an hypocrite, unlike the "La Libertad" clowns that I have the misfortune of dealing with.
    In every mission where I massacred soldiers, civilians and animals I deep down hoped to be crashed by Castillo's forces, being captured and hanged in the capital main square as I deserved.
    My bad for not doing my research before buying this piece of garbage (yes, in 2022 you need to do research before buying a damn videogame), I have much rather spent these money on cyanide flavoured popsicles.

    removed the map editor wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! worst far cry ever, open world was trash too, story also trash .
    no to mention how forced the left wing quests .
    one of the worst games this gen i think ive ever played next to watch dogs legion.
    next they put out ghost recon and set it on fire.
    only IP they have thats good still is AC.

    FIELD OF VIEW IS SO TERRIBLE LIKE LOOKING FROM A KEYHOLE. Fix that. Why the heck fov slider is always missing on consoles. How darn hard it is to add it. And why them devs choose so narrow on to beging with. Everyone is playing on 65" tvs these days so why pc with mini displays ges it but we dont.

    The game is beautiful and the gameplay is solid. The storyline and the characters are so boring and have 0 depth. The writing is lazy and woke as is most of Ubisoft’s games. It’s a cookie cutter game that Ubisoft churns out for its franchises. It would be nice to see some innovations from Ubisoft. Also the story for micro transactions is a bad joke.

    I love the Far Cry series. I've gotten platinum on all of the games since Far Cry 3 until this one... and this will probably be the only one I don't platinum because the game began stealing my resources.

    For example, I would spend hours farming to upgrade a camp facility to 3. Then it would degrade the facility's level upon exiting the game and coming back, but it would save the spent    I love the Far Cry series. I've gotten platinum on all of the games since Far Cry 3 until this one... and this will probably be the only one I don't platinum because the game began stealing my resources.

    For example, I would spend hours farming to upgrade a camp facility to 3. Then it would degrade the facility's level upon exiting the game and coming back, but it would save the spent resources. I made sure the game autosaved multiple times after upgrading the facility. It even saved everything I did afterwards, like the weapons I purchased and modifications I made to them.

    If you google this issue you will see others reporting this problem since release and nothing has ever been done about it. Sure all Far Cry's have had their bugs, but one that steals a ton of resources from you? I just can't do it. Not until this has been resolved. I emailed customer support and I will update this review if they solve the issue. Until then, I will cut my losses and not be wasting any more time on this game.    … Expand

    Extremely boring game. It essentially reuses the same Far Cry formula with slight tweaks. Characters are bland and forgettable, another Ubisoft classic of huge maps with nothing interesting to do, and weapons are extremely boring. The premise of killing a tyrant that is oppressing the people of the land is such a milked out Far Cry story, but once again that's the plot. Like 5, you have toExtremely boring game.     The game has a bug insurgency icons stop appearing, this problem has been going on from day 1, it's been a year and they still haven't fixed it. I never should've bought a Ubisoft game.

    Playing this game is just as equally as bad as watching a rabbit make a dookie and a cat came along and ate it and slowly digested but now a dog came and ate the cats dookie , the dog past a stool only for a human to eat the dogs turd , the human is now sick and has bad constant diarrhea that stink horribly .. that sums up this game worthless and will give you diarrhea of the brain ..

    Отдельный привет человеку, который придумал сделать зоны обведённые красным пунктиром, которые невозможно захватить.

    It would be decent if the story had a worthwile villain and not some overpaid overhyped actor plus sex change wokeness **** that is worse than last of us part 2. Ubisoft is really out of touch these days. They've been hit the hardest by the woke nazi mob and it is destroying them from the inside.

Ubisoft makes nothing but uninspired garbage that displays zero innovation, and Far Cry 6 is just another example. Everything about this game feels stale, ancient, and just stapled together last minute.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I preordered FC, pd $60, & avoided spoilers because I love FC series. I replay my FC games. I played FC6 & was close to 100% on trophies. I waited a few months to get my rage 0 score out of my system. The island beauty was a 10! I liked Treasure Hunts, fishing, & the outfits for skills. I'm a female, but I didn't like being forced to play as female for a trophy. Game play left me empty! First island fun, Guapo good but I quickly realized 80% on my machete kills was to the back of a female! Seemed geared to Ted Bundy! After initial island it went down hill. First, weapons didn't work or the upgrades. The respawn was insane especially with weapons which didnt kill. The missions so bad & embarassing, I was saying please god let this be the last one. The amigos so messed up! Croc, puma okay but a crippled dog, boomer from FC5 instead of Tinder from FCND but lastly the rooster was just so bad, I kept for the stupid trophies. My surprise was why would two great actors agree to be put in this mess. I wanted to join the dictator! I thought this would be like it other FC, it wasnt! I thought it was based on Cuba human right nightmares, it wasn't! It was a hit to US on racial & LGBTQ unfairness, but promoted in gameplay Trans couple verbally assaulting each other. If they wanted to create an entire game promoting this group, then the setting should be in one of the many countries where it is illegal & being different can end in death. Excessive women used & killed was another problem. I disliked all characters except the dictator & his kid. Plus, is it really Far Cry without Hulk? I wont preorder again, I will look for spoilers & this Far Cry 6 will get dusty. Will play FC 5 to scratch my itch! I'm sad!… Expand

    Incredibly dumb AI, lip sync doesn't match the sound on the opening cutscene, the mods system is horrible, the plot and characters are boring and uninspiring. I liked Far Cry 5 a lot and this one is such a disappointment.

    In short, don't be like me, don't buy this to give it a shot. Gosh, it's boring as hell. You do the same thing over and over again, and    I can't even tell you how much I regret buying this. I read reviews and thought to myself: "the reviews are pretty bad, plus I didn't really like the previous game, maybe it's not worth buying?" But there wasn't anything to play, so I ended up buying.

    In short, don't be like me, don't buy this to give it a shot. Gosh, it's boring as hell. You do the same thing over and over again, and hey, it's not even fun to do it! Most of people will end up just ignoring all side quests and complete the main story. Not because it's better, but because they bought the game and it's sad to waste money like this. I can't even push myself to launch it and complete the main story. I'd rather replay something else.

    I can write a detailed review, but I will not. This game already robbed me of my time and money, so I won't spend more time, writing what's bad about this game. A better questions is what's good? Nothing.

    They really go for being politically correct. To the point where it runes the game. Literally almost all the main characters are women which wouldn't be bad if it was realistic. I didn't know female's were the main gender involved in any sort of gorilla warfare but I guess I was wrong.

    Been playing this game a lot since to came out and I have enjoyed most of it. To start as usual the early game content is the best with the game calming down after 7 hours and picking its self up near the end. This has definitely been the most fun I’ve had with Far Cry since 3, with 5 being very disappointing because of them removing many features.

    This game brings back a voice actor for your character and cut scenes. That make the story more interesting . Talking about the story it was good, very predictable at times but had a nice conclusion at the end. The gameplay was normal far cry. This game added a new type of weapon type called supremos this is a weapon that you get to use once every while and can take down many enemies in one use.
    Overall this game was very fun and was much better than far cry 5.    … Expand

Sit right outside the detection zone with a rifle (not sniper) with a cheap silencer and just pop the 4 or 5 people guarding the base. Captured. 30 seconds later not even trying. Its pretty ridiculous.

    This doesn't really seam like a far cry game as the main element of stealth take downs and prowling a camp doesn't really exist. Its more of a just grab a gun and shoot people from mid range. No point in sniping either. Bows, don't bother.

    Also, most of the map seems really empty. 1/2 of the "trespassing" zones are empty and have no purpose. The mobs are just copy and pastes of each other. Even though the map is pretty empty. the number of times I ran into Captain Cortez across the map had to be in the 100s.

    The story was ok but was a bit childish I guess you could call it. As a person in his 40s I felt the story was definitely not a serious one (even though it was supposed to be dealing with a very serious subject). The most believable character in the entire game was Anton Castillo sadly. People who were actually being oppressed by a sadistic megalomaniac would not act like spoiled children 95% of the time. The dialog is pretty cringe and the things important to these character is laughable.

    The last 2 entries in this serious have both been on the downward decline side. I hope this is not what is in store for the serious. This has always been my one of my favorite franchises.    … Expand

    Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
