    The game had amazing voice acting, music choice, dialogue and scenery that felt genuine to the location. As a latin person I'm very thankful for it, we usually have to consume content that in inaccurate in all ways but this genuinely seemed to be like effort and love was put in all details of the world to be true to a Latin American country. Then you have the jobless mouth breathers who cannot afford new games and just copy/paste the same trashy, shallow two sentences because there’s some gay people somewhere in the game. The people who cry about every little thing being “WOKE” are sexually confused, self-hating snowflakes. Sorry, it’s not our fault you’ve got issues from what your daddy did to you. Get a therapist instead of having a meltdown over Disney movies and video games.

    As for the game itself, this is one of three FC games since the original that actually has a soul, FC3 and 5 being the others (by the way, it’s absolutely HILARIOUS how the cretins I described above now apparently LOVE FC5 when it was at first considered “anti-American” LOL). There are some design choices and story elements that I would have definitely changed, as well as some boring side activity/questing options, but there is a decent feel of authenticity here although it’s drowned out at times. Another thing that annoys me is how the game suffers from the same thing that has plagued basically all forms of multimedia nowadays - an obsession with mistaking “let’s kill everyone around protagonist, including other main characters, and surround them with constant brutality” as “seriousness”. Sorry, but that isn’t how it works. Instead it gets to a point where there’s no reason to even a reason to develop any emotional attachment or give an F about really anything with how all these movies, shows, games, etc. that think they’re being clever or “real”. This is, I think, why the game - again, like many others - tries for moments of levity and comedy in-between, but a lot of times these come off as awkward or forced.

    As for the rest, the gun play is good, graphics are great, there are no “bugs” - which is another vague code word used when these sad losers try really hard to make their “0” score of something they’ve never experienced, look like a real review.

    Overall, not the greatest FC, but definitely not the worst (FC1 on console and FC Primal). It’s a solid 7.5 or so, maybe a 6 or 8 depending on how burned out you are on these “open world” action games. Of course I have to give it a 10 on this site because of the aforementioned sad trash bombing its score.

    Definitely worth grabbing now as it’s super cheap on every console and *just* (literally today) became free on PS Plus.    … Expand

    After giving up on the crappy Call of Duty series, worn every year, with each title released, more of the same Far Cry and Bordalands will become my favorite first-person shooter series, however I recognize that Far Cry 6 is far from being the best of the series but one thing it continues to have the fun factor and it's not boring and good for co-op play

    I have to say, although I really don’t like RPG elements as they are added with clothing, everything else about that game is typical far cry.
    I like the story setting and the sneaking very much. You should give it a try.

    Far cry 6 is a great game. I've played FC3, 4, 5 and 6. Far cry 3 is unique, Far cry 4 is FC3 with some upgrades and in the tibet. Far cry 5 for me os the worst, not a great map and non-sense history. But FC6 I think its the best. Yes, is more of the same, but its a great FC. The map os good, on PS4 the graphics are beautiful, the game runs Very clean, better than FC4 and FC5. The game isFar cry 6 is a great game. I've played FC3, 4, 5 and 6.     I love blowing things up , shootingthings up & I know its more far cry but its fun. Maybe one day ubisoft will take the direction of santa monica studios GOW & revamp the far cry game to something completely different, anyway im a fan. great fun game.

    Das war wieder ein geiler, wilder Ritt. Einfach Kopf frei kriegen, drauf los ballern oder stealthen. Hatte wieder meinen Spaß damit. Die Special und abstrusen Waffen habe ich so gut wie nie genutzt. Als Tier nur den Hund. Und halt so Standard-Waffen. Karabiner, Sniper und Pistole. So hab ich mir selbst ein nicht zu übertriebenes Spiel geschaffen.

The game itself has new mechanics like stronger bullets depending on the armour of the bad guys. Probably my favorite Far Cry since 3, maybe since Far Cry 2. The DLC wasnt up to par for me, but still dont go by the user reviews. Has the same feel of that game, especially when you get the best weapon in the game. Ton of fun. It’s be nice if the story was longer/islands had more quests. But still a lot of fun. Some of the quests are riffs of GTA missions or Red Dead missions and they don’t come off as original but it’s the gameplay that works. The story is just good enough.

While not far cry 3 far cry 6 is definitely a step up from far cry new dawn the story is compelling along with the gameplay fun my only gripes are that there's times where I have no idea what's a capture able outpost and what isn't I've spent a lotta time trying to capture a place I couldn't along with that there are some bugs but it's also a new game so what do you expect all and all it's a step up from what new dawn was the way you get and upgrade weapons can also be annoying though… Expand

    What a wicked game. So glad I finally grabbed this I cant get enough. Well worth the money I got the disk version for 30 bucks. Unreal how big and how much stuff their is to do. I never played Far Cry before so this is an amazing experience for me. It's usually very hard for me to find a game I like highly recommend

    Absolutely Best Far cry game. I love that you can upgrade your gear. I love the huge open world and it's just rewarding to explore the whole world because you can find gear or resources. There are so many awesome weapons, only the clothes are not mine, I mean when you're a general and have to wear dirty clothes, hmm I don't know it don't make sense. I really like the story and theAbsolutely Best Far cry game. I love that you can upgrade your gear. I love the huge open world and it's just rewarding to explore the whole world because you can find gear or resources. There are so many awesome weapons, only the clothes are not mine, I mean when you're a general and have to wear dirty clothes, hmm I don't know it don't make sense. I really like the story and the characters. The female version of Dani is much better. Quest design and combat is very good. Really I can't understand this bad ratings.     Good game. I don't understand people who underestimate their ratings. Want to say the previous parts were better in terms of gameplay graphics? No. Here I was especially pleased with the world, quests, graphics, plot. Everything is at a high level. I play on ps5.

    If you like Far Cry, It's good. If you don't like Far Cry games, don't buy it. A side note: A lot of the negative reviews for this game are like someone that doesn't like chicken wings reviewing chicken wings. These wings taste the same as the last wings. Some people just like wings

My only 2 complaints would be around the replacement of the skill tree with perk-based gear, and the weapons (I mostly played with the same 4 as many just felt underpowered) but neither really impacted my game much. Played for 54 hours and completed just about everything in the map.I've enjoyed every Far Cry game so far, and this didn't disappoint. It's Far Cry in a new environment. My only 2 complaints would be around the replacement of the skill tree with perk-based gear, and the weapons (I mostly played with the same 4 as many just felt underpowered) but neither really impacted my game much. Played for 54 hours and completed just about everything in the map. Grabbed this on sale for $30 so definitely felt like I got my money's worth of entertainment.… Expand

Once you get your "long" headshot down and learn to disable alarms, the game gets easier to complete objectives. The autosave works pretty well, but an explicit save would be nice. I have a PS5 and the graphics look at least as good asI've enjoyed the previous two Far Cry games and played them to completion. Far Cry 6 has tons of things to do and will definitely keep you busy and engaged. Once you get your "long" headshot down and learn to disable alarms, the game gets easier to complete objectives. I'm playing in Jan 22, so perhaps they fixed a lot of bugs? The environment is well made and believable - and combat is open-ended and free-flowing. It's not a perfect game, and to be honest my main complaint is that you really don't need to use muchThis is just a very simple - low stress game. Perfect for chewing up some time in a reasonably polished (and mostly bug free) experience. I'm playing in Jan 22, so perhaps they fixed a lot of bugs? The environment is well made and believable - and combat is open-ended and free-flowing. It's not a perfect game, and to be honest my main complaint is that you really don't need to use much variety of guns/supremos - and can complete the game with a simple strategy of distance + head-shots (with armour piercing rounds). So the fun comes if you want to try something else; or if you just like the puzzle aspect of who to take out first. Nothing cerebral, and the RPG elements are mostly lacking in this game (and for me that improves it). Like most Ubisoft games, it does have that 'lots of dots on maps' feel; and if you're into the slow grindiness, this has a good vibe. I haven't played a FarCry game for a long time, so for me while it's quite derivative, and the story isn't earth-shaking... I really enjoyed my time with the game.… Expand

With absolutely fantastic acting, emotional storytelling, and a vibrant world to explore this game really does deliver in nearly every possible way as you can sink dozens upon dozens of hours exploring Yara in your fight to end slavery and overthrow aFar Cry 6 is an excellent story of rebellion, finding the will to fight, and unifying a country together through action rather than words. With absolutely fantastic acting, emotional storytelling, and a vibrant world to explore this game really does deliver in nearly every possible way as you can sink dozens upon dozens of hours exploring Yara in your fight to end slavery and overthrow a tyrant. Along the way you meet some really interesting companions, and some adorable animal allies called Amigos, who are definitely the heart and soul of this story. While the main plot isn't heavy, it's told in very subtle ways through continued character conversations and cutscenes between each act. There's not much more I can say about this game other than it's a journey definitely worth going on, and I definitely recommend it to any who were thinking of doing the same.… Expand

    - The two Castillos and Dani are amazing
    - Memorable cutscenes with the Castillos
    - Backpacks are great
    - Better action than ever

    Cons:
    - Most characters are forgettable
    - Not enough replayability
    - Too much fan service and almost no innovation
    - Worse stealth

    2 - Gameplay. Much better than the previous games. There are hundreds of missions to do and they are all fun. Yes, we have to slowly take over the map but the missions are varied and they are fun to play.

    3 - Story: I haven't beaten the game yet, however, the story up until now is entertaining and the villain is well played by a famous actor. I like the story and it is keeping me engaged.

    4 - The map is huge. I'd say it's one of the larger maps ever in a Far Cry game and there are several ways to navigate the map. Won't spoil them for you. There are dozens of unlockables and vehicles to discover. Dozens of weapons as well (more than any previous Far Cry game)

    Conclusion: This is a great Far Cry game and I want to encourage the developer by giving them a score of 10. They deserve it. They polished the game, put a lot of effort to diversify the missions, and kudos for that.    … Expand

    Despite the bad evaluation of many people, I decided to try this sequel. I have to say that the game is great - a lot of fun in a mega environment. I appreciate cool weapons, and many innovations in the game world. Great that I was not discouraged and discovered a perfect game worthy of recognition. It is primarily a fun ride full of activities and exploring. I recommend trying it.

    Esse Farcry ficou muito bom. O retorno do mini mapa é algo ótimo. O personagem fazer parte da história novamente também é algo que ajuda a trazer mais profundidade para a história do jogo. Vale muito a pena jogar, os gráficos estão ótimos e tem muitas possibilidades novas no jogo que vão além de tudo que havia no farcry anterior.

    To be fair, I think the game is good.
    The story isnt perfect, characters seems off and there's bugs here and there.. But the gameplay is entertaining, and thats enough for me in this case. I have my laughs and have not yet gotten bored (~20 hours ingame).

    maybe its just the island setting but i had a blast, i was so bored during far cry 4 and 5. and those settings were terrible. this is my 2nd fav far cry after 3. but yes the game is very same same as all far cry games. some new additions were good. looked great at 4k with 60fps. at least it worked at release unlike some games these days. story was kinda meh tho.

    I'm enjoying this game. Yes it's very much a Far Cry game but I feel like it delivers the most since Far Cry 4. Map is absolutely massive and there's several quality of life improvements to just let you play the game how you want.

    My last favourite Far Cry was 4 and feel like this one is somehow a bit less vibrant than how I remember 4. Other than that mostly what I expected.

    Overall I think this is a good game even with some failures.
    Pros:
    - Good tropical setting with nice graphic - Nice Weapons and a nice Supremo Weapon - Good end boss and a lot of good humor within the game - Amigos, totally love those pets Contra: - KI Spawns and way too many enemies. - Only third person in Camp (at least give us 3 person within a vehicle) - The story is ok but    Overall I think this is a good game even with some failures.

I've played through the whole thing, and there are no political agendas being pushed. I found myself excited to come home from work every day and play for many hours. I’ve played many, many games this year and I would consider this to be in the running for Game of the Year.     I though the game was great. Haven’t played a far cry game since 3. Never had a single bug or crash on Xbox X. Game ran smooth, gun play was fun. Had a great time getting lost in the world for a couple weeks.

    The Far Cry series remained the last bastion of hope for Ubisoft studio. And this part did not disappoint. I enjoyed the game, but she clearly needs fresh ideas. The game is good, but it's time to supplement the 10-year cycle with something substantial. The game is good, but without enthusiasm.

    Для меня эта часть лучшая в серии потому, что геймплей лучший в серии, сюжет чутка хуже чем в 3 и 4, но лучше чем в 5, кубинский сеттинг понравился больше чем в 4 и в 5. Особенно грустно что следующая часть серии скорее всего будет онлайн игрой без сюжета(Для меня эта часть лучшая в серии потому, что геймплей лучший в серии, сюжет чутка хуже чем в 3 и 4, но лучше чем в 5, кубинский сеттинг понравился больше чем в 4 и в 5.     I found the game really fun. Setting and story were interesting and the gameplay was pretty solid. I love how you can play co-op for most of the game too. I haven't played a far cry game since 3, and to be fair not much has changed, but for what it is it's a solid game. Definitely worth full price you'll get many hours out of it.

    I have played every single farm cry game, and while far cry primal is my favorite, far cry 6 definitely is up there. I love the culture behind it, the little side missions, and the story as a whole.

    I've enjoyed every 35 hours of FC6. I disliked it at first because of the overall setting and characters, but finally, this game changed my views on the Spanish language and overall culture for the better. I'm amazed how many bad reviews there are, but I think it's just a thing now, hating everything just because you can :D

    I don't get what people are complaining about, the game looks good, it's a lot of fun, love the dialog, Giancarlo Esposito is great. It's far cry...if you want a different game, buy a different game, but as a far cry game it's great

    This is a perfect Far Cry game for me. A mix of 2,3 and New Dawn. It has it all. Pretty usual FC, so looking for anything other, just search elsewhere.

    This is a classic Far Cry game. I think that it's definitely better than the last one so i recommend. If you like these types of games they are a good game, but if you don't like it don't buy it.

    Majority of the negative reviews are people just saying "Stupid missions, stupid game". Just letting you know. It's a repetitive game series just like GTA for example.

    Definitely one of my favorite games in the series. Story took some interesting, yet somewhat predictable twists but, all in all, if you are a far cry fan, you'll enjoy yourself with this one.

    The gameplay is amazing I can't get enough of it, I've put 60 hours in so far and I am on my second playthrough.

    I would of give a 9 if Ubisoft wouldn't of put culture war politics in some missions "smash the patriarchy" etc.
    I play games to escape reality not be pestered by billion dollar companies run by men talking about the patriarchy, it's pathetic. Leave it out next time

    Es una pena ver este review bombing por parte de la comunidad italiana que no sabe leer un subtítulo. El juego es el mejor FC que jugué de todos. Historias, jugabilidad y gráficos hermosos. 100% recomendado. ¡Kudos por Ubisoft!

    Learn English ffs and what did you expect when you bought the game? That it would be a souls game? Of course it's more far cry. What a joke some people are!

    Ubisoft's signature franchises continue to deliver on what the fans have come to expect and Far Cry 6 is no exception. A sprawling sandbox with tons to do and perfect escapism for a few hours… a few tens of hours. Fans of the series or Ubisoft's style, in general, will want to pick this one up, those who haven't ever clicked with them will find nothing new here to change their mind, with only a few changes that just do not push the boat out or move away from the formulaic. Most exciting though, is the upcoming DLC: a season pass that promises to give players a whole different experience. Stepping into the shoes of the villains of the previous games, starting with Vaas.     The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

    If I’m being honest, my frustrations with the marketing’s focus on the worst caricatures of Latinx people made me brace myself for a racist triple-A experience full of gross clichés and awkward attempts to be apolitical. Instead, I was surprised to find that more thought than I expected was put into its depiction of Latinx people. Although it isn’t perfect — those cringeworthy lines! The grind of finding gear! — it’s better than what I initially expected, and that counts for something.
