May 20, 2022Bought the game based on (8+) User Score and was hugely disappointed. There is basically just a single multiplayer mode in the game. The graphics and audio is cool, but the gameplay is VERY boring and repetitive. The combat does not feel satisfying at all.

Jul 22, 2022The balance of the game is on the side of the survivors with a big skew. Demon is not really playable. In 20 matches, not a single victory for him. Before that, I played DBD, Predator Hunting Grounds, Friday the 13th. Dead Evil is the hardest villain to play. And for a survivor of even the most basic level, you can win here.

May 29, 2022This is the worst asymmetrical PvP game I have ever played. I literally almost broke my controller because of how frustrating this game can be, and I play lot of BR games so I know a thing or two about frustrating.
But honestly playing Demon in this game is the -

May 20, 2022The game is riddled with bugs that make playing frustrating. Apart from that, when you are starting out you play against people with a high level, which gives hard stat advantages: more damage, more abilities, lower cooldowns etc. So unless you like losing because the other players simply have a hard insurmountable advantage, avoid at all costs.

May 19, 2022I tried some asymmetrical Multiplayer games before, like F13 or DBD and while they were quite fun, their clunky design and somewhat "lackluster" technical performance always dampened the overall experience for me.
While Evil Dead The Game isn't perfect in any means, it's stabile performance graphics and connection wise shows its production quality. -
May 15, 2022This game is so clearly unbalanced, repitious, and flat-out boring, yet these fanboys still think it constitutes a near-perfect score. It needs a lot of patches and updates before it even comes close to receiving a score in the green.

PLAYJun 29, 2022Understanding the joy of the movies, Evil Dead delivers slick matches and buckets of fun, whether you’re a human or something sinister. Groovy. [Issue#16, p.155]

Edge MagazineJun 16, 2022We'd suggest it might be time to lay the "Dead by Daylight" formula to rest, but you know how these things go in horror movies: it'd only rise again as soon as our backs were turned. [Issue#373, p.112]

Jun 7, 2022An essential purchase for fans of Ash Williams and the unique blend of gore and comedy that the Evil Dead series has created, this asymmetrical horror game builds on the foundation that games like Dead by Daylight have laid. It might not innovate but there’s a surprising amount of content and replayability in Evil Dead: The Game that raids 40 years of film and television for ideas and puts them to excellent use.
