    Amazing. Simple as that. Soulsbornekiro players rejoice! Imagine Dark Souls philosophy in a Breath of the Wild format. Probably my GotY. Performance issues do occur but nothing that hinders the experience. Play in framerate mode. Ooooh elden ring!

    Not for everyone but once you figure out how the game works it really is a masterpiece. One of the best games I have ever played without a doubt. The world design is absolutely amazing. I'm sure I missed some things but I really tried to explore everything in my first playthrough and it took me about 160 hours to complete. I can't wait for some dlx.     Jogo espetacular em todos os sentidos! Não consigo parar de jogar. Ele é uma evolução de tudo de bom que vimos nos souls. Que perfeição de jogo. Valeu casa centavo gasto !

    It's my second time playing game from From Software (the first one is Bloodborne) but man this game is so beautiful. It's hard but it's calm and the environment is gorgeous.

    I'm around 10hrs in and very much enjoying it so far! Boss fights are awesome, combat and exploration is fun, yeah there's a couple of graphic issues but who cares..you don't play souls games for graphics. It's about combat, art design, lore and patience!! All these cry babies review bombing coz they probably suck at.. git gud people lol

    Game's amazing, most negative reviews are just from people who like the new horizon game more.
    Love the kind of story in these games where you have to find it in items and piece it together yourself, it's like the opposite of an exposition dump. Really love trying to piece together and figure out the lore, which is what i like about all of from's games.

    Quite fun game. I finished the game twice and I continue to play non-stop, I haven't played a game like this in years. very interesting PVP and PVE system

    Im around 20 hours in the game now. Im loving it, there is just something that makes soulsborne games so much fun, Challenging content with a lot of creative combat and the the game feels way more rewarding than punshing and with additional QoL features like FINALLY we have a map, This is a great game.

    In progress. But this game has been something truly special for me. I know a lot of people are having some performance issues and can understand the frustration with that and don't hold it against them. For me though this game is as good as it gets. I haven't had the issues others claim to have and I've played games more in the last 5 days then I have in a long time.

    I love this game for its game design and gameplay. It takes all the best of souls games (exploration, challenging, etc) and it’s a little ugly at times, but I am ok with that. It does look a bit last gen graphics, but I would take this over most other open word games just don’t compare. I have about 50 hours in and only through 2 main bosses and several sub bosses. I keep replaying oldI love this game for its game design and gameplay. It takes all the best of souls games (exploration, challenging, etc) and it’s a little ugly at times, but I am ok with that. I have thousands of PlayStation hours on other games and a thousand Steam games played and this game is hands down my favorite.

    SO good so far. Only negative is it has some frame hiccups at some spots nothing too bad, and will prolly be patched up. Literally everything else is Godlike and this is quickly becoming my favorite new souls game. And the Open World is the closest to Breath of the Wilds quality that i have seen yet. So much good here that i cant care to knock it for points.

    I didn't think they could outdo Dark Souls 3 & that it had all been done in the other games. And then there was Elden Ring. Amazing refresh, tons of cool new additions, rewarding for noobs and Souls veterans alike. Never coulda pictured a BOTW-style open world until now. A MUST.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. wow......what a game.....I used to have a few problems with it  but after spending 160 hours on my first playthrough, and then 140 hours on my second, I can say for certain that this is my favorite game of all time, I can hardly think of any real flaws with the game. I have played every other souls game including sekiro, and I personally think elden ring was the best so far. it has the best exploration, the best areas, the best area variety, best build variety, best enemy variety, the best visuals/graphics, best voice acting and imo the best bosses of the souls series. alot of people say the bosses were the wirst in elden ring, but I couldn't disagree more, I thought the bosses were so much more fulfilling and memorable, they were super challenging as well, they're some of the longest, most cinematic, most spectacular, most challenging bosses fromsoft has ever designed, and I do not agree with any of the "BS difficulty" arguments, (besides elden stars for elden beast, that is nearly impossible to dodge, though its damage isn't much, the boss can do 60 other attacks at the same time, luckily he rarely uses it) malenias waterfowl has many ways to dodge it, just harder than most attacks, her healing is not a problem at all either, it just encourages you to not get hit, she is my favorite boss of all time. other great bosses were maliketh, fortissax, placidusax, godfrey, radahn, godrick, morgott, renalla, mohg, rykard, and the final boss. I even enjoyed the bosses that most people hate, like the fire giant, godskin duo, and commander niall (believe it or not, theres alot of people that like those bosses) even the mini bosses that were reskinned enemies were still better than most other bosses in open world games like breath of the wild. I even thought the dragon fights were really cool, fighting a giant fire breathing dragon in a giant lake flying all over the place in the night sky is something everyone should experience. and the soundtrack for this game is simply fantastic. the legacy dungeons in this game are amazing, it is worth playing this game to experience stormveil and leyndell alone, and even the open world areas are all fantastic, I even thought the worst one, the snow area, was very enjoyable.
    the cave and catacomb mini dungeons aren't as good, but I still enjoyed most of them, and they're still better than most open world mini dungeons the build variety is amazing, I already have 20 different builds I want to try out. the NPC's and their questlines and endings are some of the best they've ever been (sekiro still has the best endings though imo) people often complain about the reused assets, but it was actually a really good thing, since more resources were able to be used to make the nee things in the game, though I will admit, maybe haveing some more unique animations would have been cool, but it doesn't ruin the game for me at all.
    the traversal is great, torrent is a really good mount, and the art direction is breath taking in this game, the colors pop so much and everything in the game looks like a painting. the guard counter is a great addition that not everyone will use, and the ash of war system is a fantastic idea, the spirit summons are really cool, but sadly people will only gravitate to the super strong summons, rather than the cooler/cuter ones like the soldjars. people do think that the game gets worse at the end, but I thought it only got better. this game is truly a bang for your buck, you can spend so much time in the game and keep anjoying it and replaying it, and I sure the DLC will truly elavate the game by alot (every other fromsoft DLC has been 10x better than the base game) this is GOTY for sure, everyone and their grandma is playing it, it's one of the most innovative open world games yet, it's definitely a must play, but not everyone will enjoy it due to its difficulty and vague nature, so be warned.    … Expand

The only real drawback is the performance on PC and Xbox at the time of this review. Hopefully, that is addressed quickly.     Este juego es todo lo que esperaba, es mas Dark Souls, con un mundo abierto que no te agarra de la mano y te lleva a donde "crees" que quieres ir.. no... este juego te suelta en un mundo basto que te grita que lo explores, la exploracion es tan gratificante, sabes que a donde vallas encontraras recompensas y muchos desafios

    el apartado artistico es simplemente brutal! de lo mas bello    Este juego es todo lo que esperaba, es mas Dark Souls, con un mundo abierto que no te agarra de la mano y te lleva a donde "crees" que quieres ir.. no... este juego te suelta en un mundo basto que te grita que lo explores, la exploracion es tan gratificante, sabes que a donde vallas encontraras recompensas y muchos desafios

    Perfect balance between challenge and exploration. The main bosses are fun and the dungeons too. Just wish they were a bit clearer with the story, even more when they had George RR Martin writing it. But overall, very enjoyable and full of content and variety. Loved it

    I've never played Soulslike game before but I am completely hooked up with this game that I've never played another game on PS5 AND XSX. It is simply a masterpiece game that I feel like I actually live in the world. Closest one I found fun like this was Skyrim and Zelda... Amazing game!

    Nothing but praise to this game. To "dive in" the open-world genre and delivering a masterpiece out of the bat without ever sacrificing their souls roots is nothing but a work of genius. Boss fights, secrets, dungeons, fortresses, creativity and the challenge... if that doesn't entice you then I don't know what will.

    soulsgames...you love them or you hate them. i love them and this obe is awesome...if you're a graphic whore it's not for you. if you want a easy lay back game..don't touch it. if you're a masochist and love to find secrets and challenge yourself you're gonna fall in love with elden ring

    Elden Ring is simply a game that the player naturally adapts to their own style of play. Challenging at times, vicious at others, but mostly incredibly fun. The enjoyable pace makes the hours of play pass by like water, and each path opens up a few more, only to come together again after a fair amount of exploration before the next big reveal.     Elden Ring serves as a testament to open world video game design. There is a true sense of accomplishment once that rock-hard enemy has been slain and, something that compels a player to relentlessly do it over and over again until they succeed is truly rewarding. The world is humongous and an epitome of how exploration should be encouraged, by intriguing players to see what is over the hill. Elden Ring is an unmissable, must-play, gaming experience with surprises galore.

    Elden Ring's engaging combat, mythology and dynamite orchestral soundtrack goes a long way to overshadow an aggressive open world that punishes exploration from the beaten path. Fans of the Souls genre are in for a treat, while newcomers will need to persist to reap the benefits.
