    @ ALL GAME DEVS OUT THERE! This is how you do a Remake/Reforge/Reboot or whatever else you want to call it!
    After all the resent sloppy/horrible remakes of late I had no hope for Demon's Souls, glad Bluepoint showed the industry that remakes can be done right!
    Souls... you either love them or hate them.

    It's not a 10 because i don't believe in perfections, but this game is INCREDIBLE.
    Finally a FromSoftware game comes as a technical prodigy. The gameplay as I saw, got a little bit softer and accurate in therms of agility and movement. In the other hand, the bosses seems a little bit simple in the way that their moveset is kind of limited.
    At the end of the day, the game it's a REMAKE of    It's not a 10 because i don't believe in perfections, but this game is INCREDIBLE.

    The best thing of Demon's Souls were it's design and artstyle and Bluepoint has successfully ruined it, by editing characters, colors and architecture. On the other hand the bad thing about Demon's Souls were it's unbalanced gameplay and mechanics (you still need to grind items and can abuse some weapons in pvp) and Bluepoint didn't even touched it. Bad, very bad.

    The original was an amazing game and I understand it had clunky controls it was the first game of the series so it was like a beta but this game fixes everything wrong and I’m at a lost for words at the graphics and overall quality of this game

    This game is amazing, very challenging, but incredibly rewarding, and of course it looks absolutely gorgeous. I am seriously shocked by how much negativity it's getting, well not really the internet is full of idiots, those people are obviously missing a bit too many brain cells. But as for the rest, ignore their stupidity, this game alone is enough of a reason to get the PS5, my guess is a lot of them are butthurt Xbots who are pissed they won't get a single exclusive for 2 years, who the heck else would hate on such an awesome game.     The game which has the better looking in new generation. Also it's a great gameplay in many ways better than the original. Really a masterpiece. Congrats to Bluepoint, they have demonstrate a high level work.

    Es increíble lo que puede hacer bluepoint, respeta todo lo que conocemos del Des original y lo potencia al cien. Si eres fan de la saga souls y nunca lo jugaste, lo vas a disfrutar como no lo puedes imaginar.

    Incrível. Platinei o Demon's Souls no PS3. Naquele tempo o game já era revolucionário. E hoje mais uma vez o Demon's Souls faz o seu nome na história. Ótimo remake.

    Dont trust review bombres, either you are a veteran of the souls saga or a newcomer THIS game just ROCKS!!!IT is one of the best games of the saga and is rebuild like a new masterpiece!

    I think they did a great job with the remake. Having lightning fast load times really made this game better because I often found myself warping around the levels often. All the visual filter options are cool and the game looks great.
    I think it plays well but I did have a few minor glitches.

    My only issues are with Demon's Souls itself. Playing a melee character is really difficult and not as viable as it was in Dark Souls 1-3. I had to start over and play a mage because otherwise the game is frustrating as heck. But I definitely enjoyed it. I just don't think it's as balanced with the classes and customizations as Dark Souls.
    While there are some memorable and fun boss fights, they were definitely a lot easier than Dark Souls bosses. It felt like the levels themselves were more challenging here and just getting to the bosses was the real challenge. I wish the end boss wasn't such a wimp.

    This game isn't worth $70 but when it's on sale I'd definitely recommend it.    … Expand

    Demon's Souls Remake is truly remarkable. A proper remake, true to the original. Demon's Souls Remake looks stunning, sounds ominous, and feels silky smooth unlike many of From Softwares poorly optimized games that regularly have severe frame rate problems. Highly recommended!

    Bluepoint Games proves extraordinary once again. A really well done remake. What else is there to say? It's Demon's Souls. Crazy graphics, great sound.

    It’s a perfect remake and I think the only people who might be disappointed with it are… the die-hard FromSoftware fans. You see, the new Demon’s Souls shows clearly how much Miyazaki’s games have evolved throughout the years. The Dark Souls series simply does everything better. The remake looks like a prototype in comparison, while still being way ahead of other developers’ achievements in this genre. [01/2021, p.46]

    Overall, Demon’s Souls is still the most interesting and varied game in the Souls series. This remake not only looks lovely on the PlayStation 5 but is also a joy to play with all the tweaks and improvements that have been introduced. Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead.

    I went in expecting the world out of the Demon’s Souls remake and it delivered me the galaxy. I don’t normally speak this highly of games, but this is the one exception. Absolutely every facet of the original has been enhanced and it has stood the test of time. Bluepoint has done an incredible job at not only reinvigorating an underappreciated gem, but also leveraging the new technologies afforded to them with Sony’s new system. While there are a couple of minor technical blemishes, they don’t take away from how good of an experience this game is and Bluepoint’s diligence as a developer will surely see these kinks ironed out. This game is a system seller.
